Description

Central heating boiler with domestic water heater The present invention relates to a central heating boiler for liquid or gaseous fuels, the heating surface of which consists of a cylindrical combustion chamber and flue gas flues surrounding the combustion chamber, the domestic water heater being arranged above the heating surface system.
Central heating boilers are known which, in order to meet the requirements of the hot water supply, have built-in flow or storage heaters in the heating water room. However, since these boilers are very large due to the design of their combustion chamber, they can only be set up in rooms specially provided for them and are therefore inadequate for the constantly growing need for hot water supply in individual houses; on the other hand, a smaller combustion chamber would only cause incomplete combustion.
The present invention has therefore set itself the task of keeping the dimensions of such boilers as small as possible by means of a novel, practical design of the combustion chamber and thus creating the possibility of setting up the boiler in smaller rooms.
For this purpose, the invention provides for a combustion tube made of heat-resistant steel to be arranged concentrically in the interior of the combustion chamber, which is closed on the side facing away from the burner, so that a hot gas flue is created between it and the combustion chamber and the combustion chamber is surrounded by an outer, water-cooled sheet metal jacket, which is connected to the Outside of the combustion chamber forms a second heating gas flue.
In the drawings, an embodiment of the invention is shown. 1 shows a longitudinal section through a heating boiler, FIG. 2 shows a horizontal section through the boiler at the level of the combustion chamber, FIG. 3 shows a longitudinal section through the boiler according to section line A-B in FIG. 1 and FIG. 4 shows a horizontal section at height the combustion chamber with an installation variant of the heating surface system.
The boiler has a cylindrical combustion chamber 1, which is formed from an inner and an outer delimitation plate 2, 3, so that the annular space 8 between the two plates is connected to the water space of the boiler. The combustion chamber 1 is closed on the side opposite the burner 4 by a sheet metal 5 and contains an inserted combustion tube 6 made of heat-resistant steel. The combustion gases generated in the combustion tube 6 flow through the annular space between the combustion tube 6 and the inner delimitation plate 2 after leaving the combustion tube and being deflected by the wall 5.
On the burner side they are deflected again and flow through the outer annular space, which is formed by the sheet metal 3 and the jacket 10, in the opposite direction; At the end of this annular space, the gases enter a collecting space 11 and finally leave the boiler through the nozzle 12. The heating surface system formed by the combustion chamber 1 and the surrounding flues forms a structural unit and sits in the upright cylindrical boiler shell 13.
It either protrudes over the jacket at both ends (FIG. 2) or remains, as shown in FIG - nerflamme a heat-resistant sheet 14 or a chamotte lining is provided.
