Description
Built-in and adjustable backrest for backrests of motor vehicles It is known that most back cushions of the motorized driver's seats do not correspond to the anatomical conditions of the respective seated person as much as they should.
It is also known that such poor back cushions cause damage to the spine of the engine and passengers in particular, with early signs of fatigue occurring.
The present invention now relates to a built-in and vertically adjustable backrest for backrests of motor vehicles. It is characterized in that the same can be slid up and down in a U-profile rail, which enables every motorist or passenger to adapt the best support position even to the anatomical conditions of his spine in such a way that the above-mentioned damage and signs of fatigue do not occur more can occur.
The adjustable back support can be adjustable by means of a chain drive, a wire pull or a threaded rod.
In the drawing, an example Ausfüh approximately form of the subject invention is shown. Fig. 1 shows the longitudinal section of an exemplary embodiment on a reduced scale.
In the back cushion 1 of a motor vehicle seat 2, a holding device 3 is installed immovably, at the upper and lower ends of which a gear 4, 5 is rotatably attached.
The two gears 4, 5 are endless with one. Chain 6 connected. On the side facing the back, this endless chain 6 runs in a U-profile rail 9 which is firmly connected to the holding device 3 via the two cross connections 8, 8 '.
The back support 11 is firmly connected to the endless chain 6 via a spring 10 in such a way that by turning the toothed wheel 5 up or down, this back support within the back cushion 1 can be adjusted vertically up or down. The gear 5 is firmly connected to a rotating head 7 in such a way that the person sitting in each case can easily operate the movement mechanism.
In this way, it is easily possible to adjust the back support 11 so that the best back posture is achieved.
The sensible and simple device prevents damage to the spine as a result.
