Fp. 200 (Zers.). Ausbeute 72 g (75 O/o der Theorie).
Beispiel 2:

Process for the production of phosphonic acid esters or thiophosphonic acid esters
The subject of the German patent 962 608 is a process for the production of phosphoric acid or. Thiophosphoric acid esters of the general formulas
EMI1.1
in which R is an organic radical and R 'and R2 are alkyl radicals with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, characterized in that optionally substituted cyclic dicarboxylic acid oximides in the presence of acid binders or alkali salts of optionally substituted cyclic dicarboxylic acid oximides in the presence of organic solvents with appropriate dialkylphosphoric acid or Reacts dialkylthiophosphoric acid chlorides.
In the course of further processing of the field, a process for the preparation of the corresponding phosphonic or thiophosphonic acid esters of the general formula, which has not yet been described in the literature, was now
EMI1.2
developed. In the formula mentioned, R stands for an organic radical, while R1 and R2 mean optionally substituted alkyl or alkenyl radicals.
R is preferably an aryl radical and the radicals R1 and R2 preferably have 1 to 4 carbon atoms.
The process according to the invention for producing these compounds is characterized in that optionally substituted cyclic dicarboxylic acid oximides are reacted with dialkylphosphonic or dialkylthio-phosphonic acid monochlorides in the presence of organic solvents and with the addition of acid-binding substances. As dicarboxylic acid oximides, for. B. phthaloximide or naphthalene oxime can be used. As acid binders, as in German Patent No.
962 608, e.g. B. tertiary bases or alkali metal carbonates are used, while dimethylformamide has proven particularly useful as a solvent.
Like the analogously constructed phosphoric acid esters, the compounds prepared according to the invention are also distinguished by good insecticidal activity. Their relatively low toxicity to warm blooded animals is of particular advantage.
The products prepared according to the invention can accordingly be used according to the invention as pesticides, especially in crop protection.
The following examples explain the claimed process: Example 1:
EMI2.1
64 g (0.3 mol) of naphthaloxime and 39 g (0.37 mol) of triethylamine (95%) are stirred in 165 cc of dimethylformamide for half an hour at room temperature. Then 43.5 g (0.3 mol) of methyl thionophosphonic acid O-methyl ester chloride are added dropwise with cooling at 20-25, the mixture is stirred for a further 30 minutes at room temperature and 500 cc of water is then poured into the reaction mixture. The precipitated ester is filtered off with suction and taken up in methylene chloride, small amounts of unreacted naphthaloxime remaining undissolved. The insoluble residue is filtered off with suction and the solvent is evaporated from the filtrate in vacuo.
The remaining ester can be redissolved from n-propyl alcohol, whereby it is obtained in light yellow to brownish colored leaves. M.p. 200 (dec.). Yield 72 g (75% of theory).
Example 2:
EMI2.2
86 g (0.4 mol) of naphthaloxime are suspended in 200 cc of dimethylformamide. After adding 52 g (0.49 mol) of triethylamine, the mixture is stirred for half an hour at room temperature and 70 g (0.44 mol) of methylthionophosphonic acid O-ethyl ester chloride are then added dropwise at 20 in such a way that the internal temperature does not exceed 40 . The mixture is allowed to cool while stirring, then 500 ccm of water are added and the crystalline precipitate is filtered off with suction. It is dissolved in methylene chloride and so separated from unreacted naphthaloxime.
After filtering the solution and evaporating the solvent, the remaining ester is recrystallized from 13 times the amount of acetonitrile and obtained in the form of a canary-yellow crystal powder with a melting point of 194 "(decomp.). Yield 95 g (71% of theory).
Analysis:

Found: N4.380 / o S10.060 / o P9.420 / o
The compound showed a mean toxicity of 250 mg / kg in the rat per os.
Example 3:
EMI2.3
64 g (0.3 mol) of naphthaloxime and 39 g (0.37 mol) of triethylamine (95 ° / oil) are stirred in 165 cc of dimethylformamide for half an hour at room temperature. Then 48 g (0.3 mol) of ethyl thionophosphonic acid O-methyl ester chloride are added dropwise with cooling at 20-250. The reaction is strongly exothermic. After stirring for half an hour at 20, 500 ccm of water are added and the crystalline precipitate obtained is filtered off with suction.
It is purified as described in Examples 1 and 2 by dissolving it in methylene chloride and the ester is finally recrystallized from 25 times the amount of n-propyl alcohol. Yellow-brown crystal powder. M.p. 1620.
Yield 75 g (74.6% of theory).
Example 4:
EMI2.4
39 g (0.37 mol) of triethylamine (95%) are added dropwise to a suspension of 64 g (0.3 mol) of naphthaloxime in 165 cc of dimethylformamide, the mixture is left to stir for 30 minutes at room temperature and then is added dropwise with occasional cooling at 30 ° 40 to 52 g (0.3 mol) of ethyl thionophosphonic acid O-ethyl ester chloride. To complete the reaction, the mixture is heated to 400 for 3045 minutes. After cooling, water is added, and the crystalline residue is filtered off with suction and purified as described in Examples 1 and 2. After recrystallization, the ester is obtained from 25 times the amount of n-propanol in the form of light brown flakes with a melting point of 159 ".
Yield 92 g (87.7% of theory).
Example 5:
EMI2.5
43 g (0.2 mol) of naphthaloxime and 26 g (0.25 mol) of triethylamine (95 0 / oil) are stirred in 120 cc of dimethylformamide for half an hour at room temperature. Then 44 g (0.22 mol) of isobutenylthionophosphonic acid O-ethyl ester chloride are added dropwise, starting at 20O, with occasional cooling at such a rate that an internal temperature of 40 is not exceeded. After brief stirring, the mixture is poured into 250 ccm of water and the crystalline precipitate which has separated out is filtered off with suction. It is dissolved in methylene chloride, the solution is decolorized with animal charcoal and fuller's earth, filtered and the solvent is distilled off from the filtrate. The residue is suspended in ether and filtered off with suction.
A yellow-brown crystal powder with a melting point of 161 "(slow decomposition) is obtained.
Yield 55 g (73.4% of theory).
