Description
Les fig. 1, 2 et 3 schématisent les trois phases essentielles de ladite mise en oeuvre;
la fig. 4 représente, en demi-coupe radiale et en vue de face, la partie supérieure d'un tube déformable obturé par ladite mise en oeuvre du procédé;
Process for plugging a deformable tube
One of the objects of the main patent is a process for sealing a deformable tube, characterized in that it consists in firmly supporting the tube, in covering the head of said tube with a mold in connection with a molding machine. molding, in molding the stopper directly on said head of the tube, in separating said mold and in separating the tube with its stopper from its temporary support.
It turned out that for certain tubes thus sealed it was important for said sealing to be invulnerable, that is to say for the stopper to be such that it cannot be separated from the tube without leaving indestructible marks.
To this end, the present invention relates to a method for sealing a deformable tube according to claim I of the main patent, and further characterized in that a plug formed of the deformable tube is molded directly onto the head of the deformable tube. two parts, one inseparable from the tube, the second separable from said tube, a relatively fragile temporary connection being provided between these two parts, in such a way that it is easily destroyed when said mobile part has to be separated from the tube, to open the latter -this.
The part of the plug inseparable from the tube will generally be produced by a crown inserted into a constricted part at the base of the externally threaded mouth of the head of the tube; the part of the plug which can be separated from the tube may be practically similar to the usual plugs and the provisional connection between these two parts may be effected either by a belt of very small thickness, or, more preferably, by a number of small connecting ribs. By operating on said separable part with a view to opening the tube, the said temporary connection is systematically caused to break.
On the other hand, it can also be packaged in such a way that when said separable part has been separated for the first time from the tube, it can be used in the manner of a normal stopper while the first separation remains revealed in permanence.
Said temporary link forming the security means is essentially variable in its shapes, dimensions and relative position.
The appended drawing illustrates, by way of example, an implementation of the method according to the invention.
Figs. 1, 2 and 3 show schematically the three essential phases of said implementation;
fig. 4 shows, in radial half-section and in front view, the upper part of a deformable tube closed by said implementation of the method;
figs. 5 and 6 show, respectively, a section along the lines V-V and VI-VI, of FIG. 4.
The deformable tube I is extended by the frustoconical head 2, itself extended by a threaded nozzle 3 of conical appearance. This is characteristic in that its cylindrical base 4 defines, with the adjacent part of the frustoconical head 2, a peripheral groove 5. The mold 6 is characteristic in that it has a hollow formed by a frustoconical part 7, a cylindrical part 8 and a second conical part 9. The latter has the same taper as the frustoconical head 2 and is moreover intended to allow the mold 6 to rest properly thereon. The cylindrical part 8 of said hollow of the mold 6 has a height substantially equal to the sum of the heights of the cylindrical base 4 and of the peripheral groove 5, a diameter equal to the diameter of said base 4 and, over its entire height and preferably equidistant , narrow grooves 10.
The frustoconical part 7 has a shape and dimensions corresponding exactly, respectively, to the shape and to the external dimensions of the shutter to be produced.
As shown schematically in Figures 1, 2 and 3, the method for sealing said tube 1 is strictly the same as that which was described in the main patent. Indeed, it suffices (fig. 2) to cover the head of the deformable tube 1 with the mold 6, then (fig. 3) to inject the molding material into the spaces kept free between the head of the tube and the mold and , finally, (fig. 4) to remove the mold 6.
As shown in fig. 4, 5 and 6, the tube is thus surmounted by a stopper consisting of a separable part 11 connected, by fine ribs 12, to an inseparable part formed of a collar 13 housed in the peripheral groove 5. These ribs 12 are largely sufficient to withstand any stress resulting from normal handling of the tube.
1. However, these ribs will be broken under the stress resulting from the effort made to separate the separable part 1 1 of the threaded nozzle 3 of the tube. This first opening of the tube will therefore remain permanently revealed, however, that the separable part 11 may subsequently be used as a usual stopper.
