Program-controlled dishwasher There are known dishwashers that have a splash-proof, closable container that takes the dishes and the washing liquid. In known machines of this type, the washing program is controlled by a program switch in such a way that the liquid is drained from the container after the last work cycle. However, dirt residues remain in the sewage pump, sewer pipe or filter device, which can lead to an odor.
Furthermore, it is necessary in these machines to clean the filters by hand after using the machine in order to prevent dirt particles from drying out and thus clogging the filters. These disadvantages are ben remedied by the invention.
A dishwasher of the type mentioned at the outset is designed according to the invention in such a way that at the end of a work program a quantity of fresh water remains in the container, the level of which is at least above the spaces connected to the lower part of the container. This design of the machine ensures that odor formation due to dirt residues is prevented in cavities that are difficult to access or that these cavities are sealed odor-tight.
Furthermore, the structure of the program switch is simplified, because the filling of the machine with fresh water, which coincides with the last rinsing process, fewer switching processes than with other machines are required where this is only done at the beginning of the new work program.
According to a further development of the invention, the fresh water fills the pot of a filter device which, in a further development according to the invention, is formed on the bottom of the loading container and is connected to a flow heater via pipelines as a heat exchange vessel. This form of training has special advantages in terms of the machine being maintenance-free. Since the fine filter arranged in the pot of the Filtereinrich device is constantly surrounded by liquid, dirt particles adhering to the filter surfaces cannot harden and dry out. It is therefore not necessary to remove the filter after the machine has been shut down and to clean it by hand.
Rather, the filter can be cleaned while the machine is in operation by the fresh water supplied, which is passed through the mesh of the filter in the opposite direction as the wash liquor to be cleaned. Furthermore, this development of the invention brings about a saving in material. The pot of the filter device, which is filled with fresh water at the end of a program and is connected in parallel to a flow heater as a heat exchange vessel, makes a special heat exchange vessel unnecessary.
According to a development of the invention, the pot of the filter device contains a fine sieve with conical sieve surfaces, which has a wide upper opening and a narrow lower opening, the latter opening into a drain pipe in the bottom of the pot that is verbun with the suction chamber of a sewage pump. With this arrangement in which. If the suction chamber of the sewage pump is included in the liquid-filled rooms, the formation of odors is prevented even in this cavity, which is difficult to access for cleaning. Furthermore, it is achieved that when the rinsing water is pumped out with the simultaneous supply of fresh water, which penetrates the conical filter surfaces from the outside to the inside, the dirt is released from the filter.
It is removed from the machine by the waste water flowing through the conical filter in the axial direction via the waste water pump.
According to a further development of the subject matter of the invention, the container is connected to the outside air via a labyrinth attached to its inner wall and its cover. As a result, a suitable ventilation of the container interior is achieved and a constant pressure equalization in the container during operation of the machine; In addition, there is no need for a seal, which requires great dimensional accuracy of the parts to be sealed.
In a further development of the invention, the program switch, together with the solenoid valve for fresh water supply, excites the magnet of a metering pump that adds a detergent to the fresh water. This arrangement saves a contact set for the metering device. Since a detergent with bactericidal properties is added every time the water is changed, the machine can be safely shut down for a long period of time without the liquid remaining in it having to be removed or the formation of odors.
In an expedient development of the invention, the container and the filter device are made of corrosion-resistant plastic with low thermal conductivity.
The drawing shows an embodiment of the invention on a program-controlled dishwasher, which is shown partially cut in oblique parallel projection. To simplify the illustration, details not relating to the invention have been omitted.
During operation of the dishwasher 1, a washing liquid 2 is circulated, which is located in a container 3 which also surrounds the dishes 5 stored in a dishes basket 4. The crockery basket 4 is suspended on the bearing pin 7, 8 of a motor-driven nozzle frame 9 above the mirror 6 of the washing liquid 2. The rinsing liquid 2 fills a pot 10, which is molded onto the container 3 and contains a filter device 11.
When washing the dishes 5, the Spülflüs fluid 2 is sucked from the inside to the outside through the conical filter surface 15 of the filter device 11 and fed to the nozzle frame 9 via the suction line 16 and a pump, not shown. It emerges from the nozzles 17 with a sharp jet and washes the dishes 5 from all sides. The rinsing liquid 2 collects at the bottom of the container 3.
In the process, larger dirt particles fall through the filter device 11 in the axial direction and collect in the drain pipe 8 and in the lower part of the filter device 11, while smaller dirt particles settle on the inside of the conical filter surface 15.
When changing the rinsing water, the washing liquor used and the dirt residues are sucked off with a sewage pump 19 and removed through the sewage line 20 from the machine. With this process, the supply of fresh water, which takes place via the fresh water line 21, overlaps. The supply of fresh water is released by a solenoid valve 22. The fresh water enters the pot 10 from the side. In this, the filter device 11 is on the periphery of its upper opening 23 with a seal 24 on the inner wall of the pot 10 tightly. The narrow lower opening 25 opens into the end tube 18 and is provided with a seal 26.
The fresh water supplied with excess pressure flows through the filter surface 15 from the outside to the inside and loosens the dirt particles deposited on the inside of the filter device 11.
After the used wash liquor and the fresh water enriched with contaminants are drained, the sewage pump 19 is first switched off by a program switch (not shown), the solenoid valve 22 remaining open. Via the fresh water line 21, more fresh water flows to until the suction chamber of the sewage pump 19 and the pot 10 are filled and the amount of fresh water required for a flushing process is above the suction line 16. This process is repeated every time a work program is played and also at the end of a program.
All cavities that are difficult to access for cleaning the machine and that come into contact with the dirty rinsing liquid are located below the liquid level 6 and are thus sealed odor-tight. Dirt particles adhering to the filter surface 15 of the drain line 18 and in the suction space of the sewage pump 19 remain in the softened state and are removed during a subsequent work cycle.
An electromagnetically operated metering pump 27 is connected in parallel to the solenoid valve 22, which controls the supply of fresh water. Both Einrichtun conditions are excited via the electrical lines 28, 29, one of the lines leads via a contact set of a program switch known per se and omitted to simplify the illustration. The combination of both switching processes results in a simple structure of the program switch. Each time the water is changed, a rinsing agent is added to the fresh water via the pressure line 30 and is taken from a storage container (not shown) via the suction line 31.
The injection point for the detergent is so high above the liquid level that prevails during the overlapping of the fresh water supply with the pumping out of the washing liquid that the injected detergent does not yet come into contact with the water and cannot get into the drain. It only goes into solution when the water remaining in the machine rises.
An electrically heated flow heater 12 is connected via the pipes 13, 14 in the shunt to the pot 11. Since the latter is always filled with liquid, there is no need for a separate heat exchange vessel for the flow heater 12 and the arrangement of control valves in the pipes 13 and 14. The cover 32 the machine is provided with a profile bar 33, which forms a labyrinth with another, arranged on the inner wall 35 of the container 3 profile bar 34, which seals the lid and the container splash-proof against the escape of liquid, but allows an unhindered exchange of air .
