- Washing machine (1) comprising a suds container (3) arranged in a housing (2), in which suds container a drum (4) is rotatably mounted, and comprising a dispensing container (6) which is formed as a drawer (5) and comprises chamber elements (7) for storing a powdered and a liquid detergent which can be flushed from the respective chamber elements (7) into the suds container (3) by washing liquid that is introduced, the drawer (5) being arranged in a slide-in compartment (9) behind the front wall (10) of the housing (2), the dispensing container (6) formed by a drawer (5) consisting of chamber elements (7) and a handle strip (11) which functions as a closure for the opening (12) in the slide-in compartment (9) on the front wall (10) of the housing (2) and is separable from the chamber elements (7), characterised in that it is possible to position the handle strip (11) as a separate part on the opening (12) in the slide-in compartment (9) on the front wall (10) of the housing (2) to form an enclosed rinsing chamber (13) for automatically cleaning the slide-in compartment (9) using washing liquid (8).
- Washing machine according to claim 1, characterised in that the separately positioned handle strip (11) can be locked in a program-controlled manner for the cleaning with washing liquid (8).
- Washing machine according to claim 1, characterised in that at least three connected chamber elements (7) are arranged on the rear wall of the handle strip (11).
- Washing machine according to claim 3, characterised in that eye elements (16) for attaching the chamber elements (7) are integrally formed on one of the chamber walls, and interact with the hook elements (17) that are integrally formed on the back of the handle strip (11).
- Washing machine according to claim 4, characterised in that at least two rows (18) and (19) arranged one above the other and having eye elements (16) are integrally formed on the chamber wall of the chamber elements (7).
- Washing machine according to claim 5, characterised in that the upper row (18) of eye elements (16) interacts with locking projections (20) integrally formed on the back of the handle strip (11) and the lower row (19) of eye elements (16) interacts with integrally formed hooks (21).
- Washing machine according to claim 6, characterised in that the upper row (18) comprises three eye elements (16), the middle eye element (16) being formed as a centring eye (22).
- Washing machine according to claim 7, characterised in that the centring eye (22) has a slit (23) in the front wall for receiving a T-shaped web element which is integrally formed on the back of the handle strip (11).
- Washing machine according to claim 1, characterised in that the chamber elements (7) forming the dispensing container (6) are formed by two longitudinally arranged chambers and one chamber arranged transversely thereto.
- Washing machine according to claim 9, characterised in that the transversely arranged chamber having the free longitudinal wall can be attached to the back of the handle strip (11).
- Washing machine according to claim 10, characterised in that the transversely arranged chamber is optionally securely mounted on the handle strip (11), the longitudinally arranged chambers being separable from the transversely arranged chamber.
- Method for cleaning a slide-in compartment (9) for a dispensing container (6) of a washing machine (1) formed as a drawer (5), in the housing (2) of which a suds container (3) comprising a rotatably mounted drum (4) is arranged, the dispensing container (6) being equipped with a plurality of chamber elements (7) for storing powdered and liquid detergent and the washing liquid (8) that is introduced flushing the detergent out of the respective chamber elements (7) into the suds container (3), characterised in that, in order to clean the slide-in compartment (9), first the drawer (5) comprising the chamber elements (7) is removed from the opening (12), at least some of the chamber elements are removed from the handle strip (11) and then the opening (12) in the slide-in compartment (9) is closed using the handle strip (11) of the drawer (5), such that a closed rinsing chamber (13) is formed, which is then flushed through with washing liquid (8) in a program-controlled manner in order to loosen detergent residue from the surface of the slide-in compartment (9) and flush said residue into the suds container (3).
