La fig. 2 est une vue en plan de la fig. 1.

The appended drawing represents an embodiment of the unblocking apparatus, object of the invention, given by way of example.
Fig. 1 is an elevational view of a removable main element provided with a harpoon.
Fig. 2 is a plan view of FIG. 1. FIG. 3 is an elevational view of a rigid extension member.
Fig. 4 is a plan view of FIG. 3. Fig. 5 is an elevational view of a flexible extension member.
Fig. 6 is a plan view of FIG. 5.
Fig. 7 is an elevational view of a removable main element provided with a pincer.
Fig. 8 is a side view of the element shown in FIG. 7.
Figs. 9 and 10, on a smaller scale, are general elevational views of the apparatus, FIG. 9 showing the harpoon element and two extensions and FIG. 10 illustrating the pincer element also provided with two extensions.
The apparatus, in the embodiment shown, comprises two main removable elements, each of these main elements being able to be provided with extension elements so that it can be made to enter through a mouth of the refuse chute into a downstream conduit to the place of its obstruction.
One of the main removable elements comprises a rigid rod 1 (fig. 1 and 2), one end of which is formed by a harpoon 2 provided with three teeth, for example made of wrought iron, and the other end has a tube 3 provided with an internal thread 4 intended for fixing an extension element. The tube 3 is also provided with two flanges 5 at a small distance from each other, between which is provided a radial opening 6 made in the walls of the tube.
The extension element shown in fig. 3 and 4 comprises a rigid rod 7, one of the ends of which is formed by a threaded end piece 8 and the other end of which comprises a tube 9, identical to the tube 3 of the main element shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 and provided with the same internal thread 4, the two flanges 5 and the radial opening 6.
Certain refuse chutes conduits are not rectilinear either because of the conformation of the building in which they are installed or because of branches connected to a collector conduit. For this purpose, the flexible extension element shown in Figs. 5 and 6 comprises two sections 10, 10 ', re linked to one another by a coil spring 11, said spring being fixed, for example by welding, to the respective ends of the sections 10, 10'.
Each of the free ends of these sections comprises either an internally threaded tube provided with flanges and a radial opening, such as, for example, the tube 12 of the section 10, or a threaded end, such as the end piece 13 of the section 10 '.
The arrows shown in fig. 5 schematically indicate the centers of deflection C for the section 10 and C 'for the section 10' of the flexible extension member.
The other main removable element, shown in fig. 7 and 8, is intended to seize the garbage obstructing a refuse chute duct. This element comprises a pincer 14 comprising a branch 15 provided with a threaded end 16 and a branch 17 provided with an eyelet 18, said eyelet being intended for the fixing of a cable 19 for operating the pincer. Between the arms of the pincer 14 is interposed a coil spring 20 fixed at each of its ends on the corresponding branch of the pincer.
The threaded end is intended for fixing the pincer on the end 21, in the form of a tube with internal thread identical to the tube 3, of a rigid rod 22, the other end of which is also formed of a tube. 23, internally threaded. The rigid rod com also carries two ears 24, 24 ', each ear being intended to guide the cable 19 in a direction parallel to the rigid rod 22.
By pulling the cable 19 in the direction of the arrow f (fig. 7) the branches 15 and 17 of the pincer 14 move away from each other ,. allowing in this position to grasp an object obstructing the conduit of the garbage chute, and by releasing said cable, the branches of the pincer automatically come closer to one another under the effect of the spring 20.
Fig. 9 shows the unblocking device formed by a removable main element provided with the harpoon 2, a rigid extension 7, a flexible extension 10, 10 'and another rigid extension 7, these parts being respectively fixed end exhausted.
Finally, fig. 10 shows the apparatus for gripping an object, this apparatus being formed of a removable main element with pincers 14, of a flexible extension 10, 10 'and of a rigid extension 7, these parts also being fixed end to end.
The elements of the apparatus described are preferably one meter long. It is obvious that the composition of the elements of each of these two devices in the embodiments described is liable to vary according to the conformation of the conduits of the refuse chute.
