Desinfektionspatrone
Beim Injizieren von Flüssigkeiten in den mensch- lidhen Körper mittels Injektionsspritzen muss die Stelle, an welcher die Nadel in. den Körper eingeführt werden soll, vorgängig und nach der Ausfüh mng der Injektion desinfiziert werden. Dazu benützt man normalerweise einen mit Desinfektionslösung getränkten Wattebausch, der nach dem Gebrauch weggeworfen wird.
Um insesondere Diabetikern das Mitführen von Watte und einem Desinfektionsmittel zu ersparen, ist die erfindungsgemässe Desinfektionspatrone geschaffen worden, welche gekennzeichnet ist durch eine der Aufnahme eines Desinfektionsmittels dienende Ampulle, in deren Halsteil im Gebrauchazustand ein nach aussen vorstehender Schwamm eingeführt ist.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegen- standes wird anschliessend anhand ciner Figur erläutert, welche eine Desinfektionspatrone im Längs- schnitt darstellt. Diese umfasst ein Gehäuse 1, welches eine längliche Form aufweist und aus Glas, Metall oder einem Kunststoff bestehen kann. Im Innern des Gehäuses 1 befindet sich ein Desinfek tionsmfttel 2. Das Gehäuse 1 ist einerends geschlossen und andernends mit einer Öffnung 4 versehen, welche durch einen Kragen 3 des Gehäuses 1 begrenzt wird.
Ein Schwamm 5, welcher vorzugsweise aus Schaumstoff besteht und eine schräge Kopffläche 6 besitzt, ist mit seinem einen Teil in das Innere des Gehäuses 1 eingeführt, während das andere, schräggeschnittene Ende aus diesem vorsteht.
Ein Deckel 7 in Form einer Hülse dient dazu, die Desinfektionspatrone zu verschliessen Zum Begrenzen des Zusammenschiebens von Patrone und Hülse ist diese mit einem Kragen 8 versehen, der auf dem Kragen 3 zum Aufliegen kommt.
Der Schwamm 5 kann mühelos ausgewechselt werden. Als Gehäuse 1 dient vorzugsweise eine Ampulle, deren vorderes Ende im Bereich des Kragens 3 in bekannter Weise abgebrochen oder geschnitten werden kann, worauf die Öffnung 4 zum Einführen des Schwammes 5 freiliegt.
Das Gehäuse 1 kann aber auch hinten geöffnet und mit einem Pfropfen verschlwssen werden, was ein Nachfüllen mit Desinfektionslösung gestattet.
Diese Desinfektionspatrone führt der Diabetiker mitsamt seiner Spritze immer bei sich, so dass jederzeit ein Desinfizieren der Einstichstelle der Nadel der Injektionsspritze möglich ist, ohne dass der Diabetiker ständig getrennt Watte und Desinfektionsmittel mit sich führen muss.
PATENTANSPRUCH
Desinfektionspatrone, gekennzeichnet durch eine der Aufnahme eines Desinfektionsmittels, (2) dienende Ampulle (1), in deren Halsteil (3) im Gebrauchszustand ein nach aussen vorstehender Schwamm (5) eingeführt ist.
UNTERANSPRÜCHE
1. Patrone nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Ampulle (1) aus. Glas. besteht.
2. Patrone nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Ampulle (l) aus Kunststoff besteht.
3. Patrone nach patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Schwamm (5) mindestens teilweise aus Schaumstoff besteht.
4. Patrone nach Patentanspruch, gekennzeichnet durch eine Schutzhülse (7) mit in deren Innerem angeordnetem Kragen (8), welcher zum Anliegen auf der Halspartie (3) bestimmt ist.

Disinfection cartridge
When injecting liquids into the human body by means of injection syringes, the point at which the needle is to be inserted into the body must be disinfected before and after the injection has been carried out. This is usually done using a cotton ball soaked in disinfectant solution, which is thrown away after use.
In order to save diabetics in particular having to carry cotton wool and a disinfectant with them, the disinfectant cartridge according to the invention has been created, which is characterized by an ampoule which holds a disinfectant and in the neck part of which an outwardly protruding sponge is inserted when in use.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention will then be explained with reference to a figure which shows a disinfection cartridge in longitudinal section. This comprises a housing 1, which has an elongated shape and can consist of glass, metal or a plastic. Inside the housing 1 there is a disinfection device 2. The housing 1 is closed at one end and provided with an opening 4 at the other end, which is delimited by a collar 3 of the housing 1.
A sponge 5, which is preferably made of foam and has an inclined head surface 6, is inserted with its one part into the interior of the housing 1, while the other, beveled end protrudes from this.
A cover 7 in the form of a sleeve is used to close the disinfection cartridge. To limit the pushing together of the cartridge and the sleeve, the latter is provided with a collar 8 which rests on the collar 3.
The sponge 5 can be exchanged easily. An ampoule is preferably used as the housing 1, the front end of which can be broken off or cut in a known manner in the region of the collar 3, whereupon the opening 4 for inserting the sponge 5 is exposed.
The housing 1 can, however, also be opened at the rear and sealed with a plug, which allows refilling with disinfectant solution.
The diabetic always has this disinfection cartridge with him along with his syringe, so that the puncture site of the needle of the injection syringe can be disinfected at any time without the diabetic having to keep separate cotton and disinfectant with him.
PATENT CLAIM
Disinfection cartridge, characterized by an ampoule (1) serving to hold a disinfectant (2), in the neck part (3) of which an outwardly protruding sponge (5) is inserted when in use.
