Einrichtpng for adjusting the tools on the bear of an automatic two-stroke press for upsetting screw heads The subject of the invention is a device for adjusting the tools on the bear of an automatic two-stroke press for upsetting screw heads, with a swiveling tool plate by a pockenge controlled drive.
In the case of automatic two-stroke upsetting presses, the tools on the bear have to be exchanged during the work cycle, since a wire end protruding from a die has to be pre-upset by a tool in the first operation and then calibrated to the final shape of the head by another tool.
The exchange of these two tools on the bear can be carried out by moving the tool head in a straight line, usually in a vertical direction. There are also other types of adjustment of these tools in a circular path known, the two tools supporting head is pivoted.
Since the part that adjusts the head with the work tools on the bear, must perform a movement derived from the crank mechanism of the press, the main part of the adjustment device is usually stored with cams in the machine frame. The transfer of the movement from the main part in the machine stand to the moving part in the bear can either be carried out by means of a telescopic, grooved shaft or a fork that follows the movement of the cam in the stand, or by means of a sliding block that is located in it imagined fork moved and connected to part of the bear mechanism.
The kinematically most favorable transfer of the movement from the cam in the stand to the tool head in the bear takes place by means of a rod that is connected by means of ball pins in both parts of the adjustment mechanism. The rod executes a spatial movement, which is created on the one hand by the movement of the cams and on the other hand by the movement of the ball studs that follow the movement of the bear.
The known devices dampen the impacts of the adjustment strokes by springing back the arm of the lever which carries the roller and which is connected to the rod for the adjustment of the tool plate. In such designs, there are significant impacts on the cams, as the Rol len can stand out from the cams when rolling. As a result, the entire device is subject to significant wear; individual parts wear out relatively strongly, so that individual parts can break.
The device is characterized in that the pivoting range of the plate is limited by two stop screws, that the pivoting movement of the plate is generated by a spatially moving rod, which in turn is actuated by two control cams via two rollers mounted on two rigidly arranged drive levers, where the rod is seen with a resilient element ver to dampen the blows that occur when the tool plate hits the stop screws. In the drawing, an embodiment of the subject invention is provided.
The figures show: FIG. 1 schematically the entire machine, FIG. 2 a tool plate, FIGS. 3 and 4 a diagram of the stroke profiles, and FIGS. 5 and 6 two possible pull rods with a resilient element.
A flywheel 1 driven by an electric motor rotates a crankshaft 2 and moves a bear 4 by means of a connecting rod 3. A plate 6, which can pivot about a pin 5 and carries a pre-upsetting and calibration tool 7, 8, is attached to the end face of the bear 4. The pivoting of the plate 6 is limited in both end positions by screws 9, 10, which is necessary with regard to the exact setting of the tools 7, 8 on the bear relative to the die 11 fixed in the stand 12.
A toothed wheel 13 keyed to the end of the crankshaft 2 transmits the rotary movement via a further wheel 14 to a camshaft 15 with two control cams 16, 17. The rollers 18, 19 rolling on the cams are attached to a two-armed lever 20, which is around a in the stand of the 12 fixed pin 21 is pivotable. An elongated arm 22 of the lever 20 carries a ball pivot 23 engaging in a rod, while the rod is connected at its other end by means of a further ball pivot 25 to a pawl 26 pivotably mounted in the bear.
A pin 27 is fastened to the pawl 26 and is rotatable in a stone 28 which is displaceable in a groove 29 of the plate. By means of the described device, the pivoting of the plate 6 via the cam 16, 17 is achieved.
The setting of the tools 7, 8 on the bear 4 with regard to the die 11 is shown in FIG. The tool plate 6, which is moved by the pawl 26 and the stone 28, is in one end position on the stop screw 9 attached to the bear. By adjusting the screw 9 in the right direction, the position of the tool 8 changes, for example upwards, since the plate 6 can rotate more around the pin 5. By reversing the adjustment of the screw 9, the position of the tool 8 changes downwards.
Similarly, the position of the tool 7 can be changed up or down with the second screw 10.
According to Fig. 3, the scheme of the theoretical stroke course S is shown with a partial revolution of the tool plate 6. The total cam stroke h is realized in the time period t, and the course S is obtained from the selected course of the 'Be acceleration a over the course of the speed v.
The schematically recorded course of the real acceleration a1 (FIG. 4) arises in such a way that the real size of the stroke on the cam h must be greater than the stroke of the swiveling tool plate 6, namely by the part of the stroke Ah, which is necessary for setting the tools 7, 8, as it was described with reference to Fig. 2 be.
The time period t for exercising the stroke h is reduced by 4t, and the acceleration curve a1 has a value several times higher than the theoretically calculated acceleration a at the beginning and end of the actual stroke hl. The formation of the rod 24 (Fig. 5) with ela elastic element is characterized by a small number of parts and relatively light weight.
The ball stud 25 on the pawl 26 in the bear is connected to a rod 30, which spreads to a projection 31 which is slidably guided in a bushing or bearing 32 and screwed into a tube 33, which with its second end to the Arm of the lever 22 attached Ku gel pin 23 is connected. In the tube 33, a resilient pressure member is arranged, which z. B. rubber or a coil spring 34, which is supported by means of a sub-layer 35 against the forehead of the bearing 32 and the set 31 on. The other end of the spring 34 rests on a ring 36 which sits on a shoulder in the tube 33 and on a pin 37 which is mounted in the rod 30 and moves in a groove 38 milled out in the tube 33.
When the ball pin 25 moves to the left, the rod has the option of springing by means of the force transmission through the rod 30, the pin 3.7, the ring 36, the spring 34, the pad 35, the bearing 32 and the tube 33. When the ball stud 25 moves to the right, the force passes through the rod 30, the projection 31, the base 35, the spring 34, the ring 36 onto the tube 33. By removing the pin 37 from the tube 33, the element can be disassembled into two parts, but the preload of the spring 34 remains constant.
According to a variant (Fig. 6) of the resilient Ele Mentes in the rod, the force from the pin 25 on the pawl 26 when moving to the left with means of the rod 30 via a tube 39 with a set 40 on a pad 41, through the spring 34, the base 35, from there through an inner tube 42, a fitting pin 37 mounted in it via a rod 43 and a bed 44 to the ball pin 23 and the lever 22.
The pin 37 moves in the groove 38, which is milled out into the tubular end of the rod 30 and both ends protrude from the rod 30 to the outside. A gap 45 between the inner tube 42 and the end of the rod 30 allows the resilient element to move in the right direction when the pin 25 is pushed.
The force is transmitted from the rod 30 via the base 40, through the spring 34 to the rod 43 and from there via the pin 37 to the inner tube 42 and the pin 23.
The whole element can be dismantled by removing the pin 37 and the ball stud 23 without changing the set bias of the spring 34.
