Compressed gas switch with multiple interruption The invention relates to a compressed gas switch with multiple interruption, in which the pulse-operated power switching points are arranged in switching chambers that are constantly under compressed gas. In the case of pressure gas switches, it is important that the switching point is already under pressure when the contact piece is separated, so that the breaking arc is blown intensively as soon as it occurs.
A pressurized gas switch has become known in which, in the opposite direction to the mechanically driven switch pin, a bridging contact moved by the pressurized gas flowing into the switch chamber slides over a stationary pipe contact. Here, however, it is disadvantageous that the compressed gas must be supplied from the outside of the switching chamber, where a relatively long switch-off time is due. In addition, the arc is only blown axially on one side, which greatly limits the performance.
A pressurized gas switch has also already been proposed in which the switching point is designed as a double nozzle, but it also has the disadvantage that the pressurized gas has to be supplied from the outside to the extinguishing chamber.
The invention is based on such a switch, and its object is to provide a simple solution for a, fast and powerful pressure gas switch, in which the mentioned disadvantages of the known designs are avoided.
According to the invention, it is proposed that for each switching point there are two coaxial nozzle tubes at a fixed distance from one another, through which the compressed gas flows in the opposite direction to extinguish the arc, and a movable bridging contact piece connecting the two nozzle tubes is provided, on the one hand with a pressurized gas-loaded drive piston and on the other hand is indirectly connected to a valve seat in Ver, and one of the nozzle pipes is provided with a valve plate, which together form the blow valve for the compressed gas.
The invention he enables in this way an immediately onset of intense blowing of the arc with optimal extinguishing distance of the contact pieces, the number of parts required for this is reduced to a minimum ver.
An embodiment shown in the drawing serves to explain the invention. A double switching head of a compressed gas switch is shown there. 1 with a hollow insulator is referred to, on which the middle piece 2 is attached. This carries a switching chamber housing 3 on each side. For the sake of clarity, only the left half of the double switching head is Darge in the drawing, especially since it is symmetrical. The center piece 2 is rigidly connected to the cylinder 4, in which the nozzle tube 5 and the sleeve 6 be fastened.
The bridging contact 7 BE is made up of the contact blades 8, of which several are arranged in the manner of a tulip contact within the tubular body 9 and are supported in this via the leaf springs 10. At its right end of the tubular body 9 is provided with an annular piston 11 which is slidably guided between the parts 4 and 6. The left end of the tubular body 9 is designed as a valve seat 12. The switching chamber housing 3 carries the hollow insulator 13 which is firmly connected to the housing 3 by means of the flange part 14, the ring nut 15 and the insulating clamping tube 16.
In addition, the nozzle pipe 17 is firmly connected to the ring nut 15 and has a collar 17a designed as a valve disk in which the seal 18 is embedded. The bridging contact 7 is shown in the switched-on position above the center line, while the switched-off position is shown below it, the arc burning between the nozzle tubes 5 and 17 being indicated by the irregular line 19. The drive space 20 in the cylinder 4 contains the spring 21.
The space 20 is connected via the channel 22 to the control valve 23, the actuating line 24 of which is arranged inside the hollow insulator 1 and leads to the lower part of the switch, not shown. The inner space of the middle piece 2 is connected to the outside via the opening 25, while the annular channels 26, 26a, the switching chamber housing 3 on the one hand mitein other and on the other hand via the hollow insulator 1 with the not shown compressed gas container on the scarf can communicate terunterunterteil.
The mode of operation of the arrangement described is as follows: In the position shown above the switching chamber center line, the bridging contact 7 connects the two nozzle tubes 5, 17 of the power switching point by means of the contact blades 8. The current path is formed here by parts 14, 15, 17, 8, 5, 4 and 2 and continues over the corresponding parts of the not shown right half of the double switching head.
The switching chamber housing 3 is constantly under pressurized gas, which is present in the on position up to the blow valve formed from the parts 12, 18, 17a. The control valve 23 is formed in a manner known per se so that the space 20 is also filled with compressed gas. To switch it off, a pressure pulse is fed to the control valve 23 via the actuation line 24, as a result of which the control valve 23 connects the space 20 to the outside via the channel 22, as indicated by the arrow, and thus ventilates it. The pressurized gas in the housing 3 now acts on one side on the left side of the annular piston 11 and moves it to the right against the force of the spring 21 as far as the limit position shown below the center line.
Since the bridging contact piece 7 is set in motion at the same time, the blow valve formed from the parts 12, 18, 17a is opened and the arc 19 arising between the nozzle pipes 5 and 17 is blown and extinguished. The pressurized gas flows, as indicated by the arrows, from the housing 3 via the switching point and then through one nozzle pipe 17 to the left, and in the opposite direction through the other nozzle pipe 5 and the opening 25 into the open. In the elected embodiment, the control valve 23 is common to the two switching points of the double switching head.
The gas pressure switch can also be constructed from several switching units, each containing a double switching head, which are electrically connected in series (multiple interruption), with these voltage switching points being in series in a known manner, which take over the isolation of the switch in the switched-off position, so that after opening, the power switching points can be closed again. In the selected exemplary embodiment, this is done in that the pressure pulse in the actuating line 24 of the control valve 23 is removed after the voltage switch, not shown, is opened, whereby the space 20 is filled with pressurized gas via the channel 22.
As a result of the pressure equalization on both sides of the drive piston 11, this, and thus the bridging contact 7, is brought under the action of the spring 21 in the left limit position. As a result, the blow valve also closes, in that the valve seat 12 is pressed against the seal 18, so that blowing into the switching path stops. When the switching process from the switching chamber housing 3 ent escaping compressed gas is, as indicated by the arrows, supplied from the compressed gas tank through the hollow insulator 1 and the channel 26.
A switch on the gas pressure switch is done in a known manner by the mentioned, unspecified is provided voltage switching points.
