Drive unit, in particular for a washing machine The invention relates to a drive unit gat, in particular for a washing machine, with a lower and a higher speed. The washing drum is driven during the washing process with the low speed of the drive unit. The drum rotates at about 45 to 50 rpm. The drum is driven at the higher speed during the spinning process. This spin speed is different for the individual types of washing machine and can vary between 450 and 750 rpm. As a result, a manufacturer of drive units had to include different types in its production program in order to be able to meet all requirements. This means a relatively high effort.
The invention is based on the object of creating a drive unit which can be made suitable for the various washing machine types by simply exchanging a few parts.
The drive unit according to the invention is characterized by a geared motor with a fast-running motor shaft stub located at one end of the motor and a slow-running gear shaft stub and driven gear located at the other end, by the arrangement of a countershaft running parallel to the two stub shafts outside the motor, which with two pulleys are provided, which are connected to the pulleys rotatably mounted on the two stub shafts by belts, as well as through the arrangement of a coupling device with which the output gear can be connected directly to the slow-running gear shaft stub or indirectly via the forward shaft to the high-speed motor shaft stub.
Further details are explained mower on an exemplary embodiment of the invention with reference to the drawing. 1 shows a drive unit partly in the side view, partly in section along the line 1-1 of FIG. 2, FIG. 2 shows the view of the end face on the transmission side, FIG. 3 shows the section through the coupling device the transmission side according to the line III-III of FIG. 4 on a larger scale, FIG. 4 the section according to the line IV-IV of FIG. 3, FIG. 5 a diagrammatic view of a single share.
The motor 10 is combined in a manner known per se with a planetary gear 20 to form a geared motor. The stub shaft directly connected to the motor rotor is marked with 11 and the shaft stub with the transmission 20 xerhundene with 21 be, which runs at a lower speed corresponding to the reduction of the planetary gear. The countershaft 31, which runs parallel to the two stub shafts, is mounted in bearing blocks 34 which are hinged to eyes 16 on the motor housing. On the countershaft 31, two V-belt pulleys 32 and 33 are keyed, which are connected to V-belt pulleys 13 and 23 rotatably mounted on the shaft stubs 11 and 21 by V-belts -4 -14 and 24, respectively.
So that the V-belts have the necessary tension, .are, as _Fig. 2 = igt, compression springs. 35 arranged on which the bearing blocks 34 are supported.
The clutch disk 12 is attached to the motor shaft stub 11 and rotatably, preferably in the vicinity of the bearing plate. : The clutch disk 22 is connected to the transmission shaft stub 21 at its end so that it cannot rotate. The output gear 51, which is connected to the drum (not shown) by a V-belt 53, is axially movable Lich on the hub of the axially immovable belt pulley 23 is mounted.
To achieve the lower drum speed, the output gear 51 must be coupled to the transmission shaft stub 21 and at the same time the non-positive connection between the motor shaft stub 11 and the countershaft 31 has to be released. This purpose is served on the one hand by the compression spring 25, which is supported on the axially immovable pulley 23 and presses the driven gear 51 against the clutch disc 22, and on the other hand the Druckfe 15, which pushes the pulley 13 away from the clutch disc 12. During the washing operation, the countershaft 31 is driven by the belt pulley 23. The pulley 13 runs loosely on the motor shaft stub at a speed that results from the selected dimensions of the belt pulleys 23, 33, 32, 13 results.
In order to achieve the high drum speed for the spin process, the output gear 51 must be driven by the high-speed motor shaft stub 11, i. H. the belt pulley 13 can be pressed against the action of the spring 15 against the clutch disk 12. This coupling is made possible in a simple manner in that the belt pulley 13 is provided with a cup-shaped hub which surrounds the end of the motor shaft stub and can be acted upon by a pressure element in its center.
In the illustrated embodiment, the ball 43, which is moved by the electromagnet 41 via the rod 42, serves as the pressure element. On the other hand, it must be ensured that the output gear 51 is released from the clutch disc 22, against which it is pressed by the spring 25. This decoupling is made possible in a simple manner by the fact that the belt pulley 23 and the driven gear 51 are connected to one another in the manner of an overrunning clutch with axial pressure in such a way that the driven gear 51 is pressed against the pulley 23 against the action of the spring 25 and from the clutch disc 22 is lifted when the speed of rotation of the pulley is greater than that of the driven gear.
As an overrunning clutch, a steel ring disc 26 with inclined contact surfaces (Fig. 5), the uridreh bar with the pulley 23 is connected by bolts 27, the shafts of which the output gear 51 provided with arcuate slots 52 penetrate. As a result, a certain relative rotation between the driven gear 51 and the pulley 23 is possible. Balls 28 are arranged between the steel ring disk 26 and the output gear 51 in the area of the inclined contact surfaces. The balls themselves are guided in the output gear 51.
It is assumed that, after a certain washing time, the electromagnet 41 is switched on to switch from washing to spinning by a timer. As a result, as already described above, the countershaft is positively connected to the stub shaft 11 of the preferably four-pole motor. As a result, the pulley 23 also receives a higher rotational speed than the still connected to the transmission shafts stub 21 and revolving at about 150 rpm output gear 51. When overtaking ver, the steel ring disk 26 also rotates against the output gear 51 and moves over the Balls 28 the latter in the direction of the belt pulley 23 and from the clutch disc 22 away. This continues to run at the lower speed.
If the electric magnet is switched off to end the spinning process, the non-positive connection of the countershaft 31 with the stub shaft 11 is released immediately. As a result, the speed of the belt pulley 23 drops, which in turn is now overtaken by the driven gear 51. This creates a relative rotational movement of the steel ring disc 26 in the opposite direction. The output wheel 51 is moved away from the belt pulley 23 and pressed against the clutch disk 22. In this way, a stronger braking of the drum is achieved at the same time. The drive unit according to the invention can easily be adapted to all types of washing machines with a wide variety of drum speeds by appropriately dimensioning the pulleys.
