Hydraulic or pneumatic apparatus for generating a rotary movement The invention relates to an apparatus for generating a rotary movement in a hydraulic or pneumatic way. A majority of such Kon constructions are known, but they all have one or more major disadvantages, which are in particular due to the difficulties, at the same time a good seal, a high degree of efficiency and a simple design without costly and bulky reduction gears, etc. to he pass.
The invention relates to apparatus of the above-mentioned type having an annular chamber containing a number of articulated links cooperating with inner and outer support surfaces of the chamber, forming a chain-like device, one end of which is connected to the shaft rigid verbun which arm and the other end is articulated with a piston ben, the piston is provided in a cylinder arranged outside the chamber and rigidly connected to it and when the hydraulic or pneumatic's working medium is introduced into the part of the outside of the piston The cylinder is moved inward to the chamber and thereby causes the shaft to rotate in one direction.
Such Appa rate are known several times, but these known constructions are not such that they can, for. B. could replace equipment that is used in trucks, tractors and the like who the to z. B. to rotate the column of a hydraulic lifting crane. In this context, it is important to make the rotary device as compact as possible, please include as it is almost regularly installed in existing vehicles, so the space available is very limited. In addition, it is desirable that the entire rotating device can be assembled as a unit.
All these goals are achieved in an apparatus designed according to the invention, which is characterized in that the chamber forms a tight pressure space for the working medium and communicates with the part of the cylinder located inside the piston, so that the working medium is introduced into the chamber causes the shaft to rotate in the other direction.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in section in the drawing. An annular chamber encloses the shaft 2, which is intended to be rotated by means of the apparatus. The shaft is rigidly connected to an arm 3 directed radially outwards. A tangentially directed tube S, which forms the cylinder of the piston 7, is connected to the chamber 1 by means of bolts 4. The piston 7 is articulated to a chain-like device which is formed from a number of links 11 connected to pivot pins 12.
The bolts are each provided with a ball or running wheel 13 which are rotatably mounted and whose diameter is insignificantly smaller than the radial distance between the inner wall and the outer wall of the chamber 1. Therefore, the device 11, 12, 13 on the one hand articulated and on the other hand can still transfer both pushing and pulling forces without changing the distance measured in the order of the circular direction between their ends. When the piston 7 is moved in one direction or the other, the shaft 2 is rotated accordingly.
The annular chamber 1 serves as one of the two working spaces of the double-acting cylinder, the other space being formed on the right-hand side of the piston 7 from the inside of the tube 5. With 15 and 16, the inlet and outlet lines for the working medium used are designated.
