Process and device for increasing the quality properties of plastic concrete. It is assumed that methods for the production of precast concrete parts, such as plates, steps, reinforced concrete driven piles, columns, beams, curbs, paving stones and other elements to be produced in the concrete plant, using hydraulic presses, Impact presses, vibration devices as well as by vacuum treatment.
The invention relates to a method for increasing the quality properties of the plastic concrete by means of air pressure in a form whose walls are seen with openings and filter elements.
The method according to the invention is characterized in that the concrete is subjected to a compressed air pressure of more than 1 atm via one or more pressure chambers.
Thanks to the invention, one can act on the plastic concrete introduced in For men over one or more side walls of the same compressed air with a compression depending on the mass and the spatial shape of the concrete to be compacted until no more water from the perforated, with filter provided formwork walls of the form.
The introduction of the compressed air can be regulated in such a way that the compressed air flows in slowly at the beginning, later under higher pressure, in order to gradually decrease to zero after the concrete has been compacted.
In a special embodiment of the method according to the invention, the compressed air can be switched off after the compaction of the concrete and then a vacuum can be applied to hold the concrete on top of the cover while the bottom piece is removed. After the vacuum has been switched off and the bottom piece has been removed and the mold has been lowered, compressed air can be fed over the lid in jerks to improve the removal of the mold. A plastic concrete compacted in this way can be shuttered after treatment; it has an increased compressive and flexural tensile stress and has a lower vibration than a plastic concrete that has been produced in a usual way.
As is well known, fresh concrete is a mixture of aggregates, such as stone grains and sand with a certain grain structure, intimately mixed with water and cement.
The chemically required amount of water to bring about a reaction between cement and water requires only 20 ö water of the cement weight. It is known that more water has to be added to the concrete mix in order to be able to process the fresh concrete at all. This amount of water, which has to be added more, results in the plastic consistency of the concrete.
It is also known that the ratio of water to cement is decisive for the final strength of the concrete.
The maximum strength is achieved through a minimum of water content. The lowest possible concrete strength occurs when there is too much water.
The task of obtaining high-quality concrete is considered to have been solved when it is possible to extract a maximum of water from the concrete during production.
When the concrete is vacuum treated, water particles are sucked out of the concrete through filters as a result of negative pressure. The success of this method is good. There is a pressure difference of 1.0 atmospheres outside air and a negative pressure of 0.8 atmospheres, i.e. H. together 1.8 atü (kg / cm2) are available on the concrete particles. When using compressed air, however, this pressure difference can be significantly increased and compression accelerated.
The compaction pressure can also be kept variable depending on the cross-section and spatial shape of the concrete body to be compacted.
Tests have confirmed that the water leakage is greater with compressed air treatment than with vacuum treatment; consequently, there is also an increase in strength through treatment with compressed air.
When using compressed air, which acts evenly on the fresh concrete via a chamber, the air cushion of the compressed air initially pushes the concrete particles present at the point of contact in front of it. The grains of rock and sand that are set in motion cannot experience any change in shape due to their strength and density, but the particles of water and cement - referred to in concrete technology as cement paste.
When the compressed air continues to act, the gestural framework is pushed together so far that the grains - ideal grain structure according to the recognized rules of architecture is assumed - touch tangentially.
The cement paste is pushed in the direction of the least resistance; in this way it fills all the voids between the grain particles.
If the compressed air is increased further, the entire fresh concrete is under tension. Since the filters of the formwork surface that is not under compressed air can have a mesh size that is smaller than the size of the cement particles, only pure water can escape.
Since the compressed air can be increased at will, it is possible to press out any excess water that does not form a colloidal bond with the cement particles.
With this way of working, the water-cement factor can actually be reduced to a minimum, as with none of the previously used compaction methods. The consequence of this is that the side surfaces of the formwork can be removed immediately.
The inventive device for carrying out the method consists of a rotating frame with concrete molds, which can be rotated intermittently and is designed so that the concrete can be successively introduced into the molds at different stops, compacted at the next point and switched off at a far stop , and is characterized in that a vacuum chamber is arranged under the concrete mold, which is rotatably arranged on the bogie, through the vacuum of which the concrete body can be held when turning the mold by 180 for the purpose of stripping until the concrete body is placed on a transport device,
and that the vacuum chamber can be connected to the compressed air line for compacting the concrete, so that its pressure pushes the concrete body downwards after the concrete form has been turned by 180 "for the purpose of being deposited on the transport device.
The device can be designed in such a way that planar workpieces of any shape and size can be compacted.
In a particular embodiment, the device can have means for weighing the quantity of fresh concrete, for pore-free introduction of the fresh concrete into the mold, for compacting, for shelling and for setting it down on substrates. The removal can take place by means of a large wheel that rotates around a horizontal axis, and the compacted elements can be taken over by a hydraulic platform or a platform based on the scissors principle. Instead of a wheel with a horizontal axis, a carousel with a vertical axis can be used.
In a special embodiment of the device, the fresh concrete can be poured into the mold almost pore-free by means of a filling device with a weighing device and lenticular lamellar grids with vibrating sieve. In order to stimulate the cement paste to flow in weakly plastic concrete, vibration energy can be applied several times.
Compressed air with any high pressure can be automatically controlled to act on the fresh concrete via a perforated lid that is firmly lashed to the mold; In this way, a maximum amount of water can be squeezed out through a filter wall. A guardrail can be used to turn the concrete mold by 180 =. The transport device can be a platform trolley that automatically takes over the compacted concrete when stripping it off via a press platform or a scissor table with the aid of vibrating force and compressed air.
In a particular embodiment, the filter fabric is cleaned independently after the concrete has been stripped and the form is subjected to a further rotation of 180 by the guide rail. All work cycles can follow one another in a fully automatically controllable manner.
With the device according to the invention, lower labor costs in production, greater output and a substantial increase in flexural strength and compressive strength can be obtained in a special embodiment. It can preferably slabs, paving stones, curbs, steps and similar surface elements with a relatively large surface compared to their mass in variable dimensions Herge provides.
Purely by way of example, the drawing explains: FIGS. 1 to 3 the method according to the invention, FIGS. 4 to 9 embodiments of the device for carrying out the method according to the invention. The inventive method can be used for the manufacture of panels or for the manufacture of columns, beams and the like. a) Plate production The compressed air flows from the compressor 1 through a pressure vessel 2 with a manometer into the lid of the mold 3 into a chamber 4 and is evenly distributed there.
Via the perforated wall 5 of the lid, the compressed air hits the plastic concrete 6 with the grain particles 7 and the cement paste B.
The grain particles move together, the cement glue is compressed and excreted through a filter 9 and a perforated bottom wall 10 What water 11 from.
A vibrator 12 facilitates both the distribution of the concrete in the mold 3 and the arranging of the rock grains in an immovable end position.
Rubber seals 13 under the cover 4 of the mold 3 prevent the compressed air from escaping. Joints 14 and lock 15 connect the cover to the mold 3.
b) Pillar, bar and the like production The compressed air is fed in as described under a), but this time it flows over the chambers 16 and 17 of the side walls. The excess water is pressed out through filters 18 and 19 of the bottom piece 20 and the head piece 21 of the formwork.
An increase in the compressive and bending tensile strength and a reduction in the glare of the cement paste is achieved. Since this reduction is a function of the water content, more water results in more curl, less water less curl.
Furthermore, the invention enables an acceleration of the compression and thus brings a time gain in the production, the immediate stripping of the elements, less space required in the production and the ability to produce larger elements than previously made on machines in the flow process.
4 to 9 of the drawing show embodiments of the device according to the invention, by means of which the method according to the invention can be carried out.
The fresh concrete should be brought into the form almost pore-free. This object is achieved by using a vibrating screen above the mold in station I, FIG.
The fresh concrete 31 hits a form 33 via a conveyor belt 32 or a silo, which has the same length and width as the underlying basic form 34 movably suspended in the wheel. Rods 36 with a lens-shaped cross-section are arranged above the vibrating screen 35 , which are almost horizontal when the concrete is poured in and touch each other closely over a large area.
The mold itself is designed as a scale 37 so that the same weight of concrete can always be filled. After placing the concrete, a vibrator 38 is actuated, which has the consequence that the concrete mirror 39 adjusts horizontally and receives the same height everywhere. Once this state has been reached, the lens-shaped rods are rotated so far that they stand vertically, 36 ', and allow the concrete to flow onto the sieve.
There the individual concrete particles are subdivided again through the mesh of the sieve and the concrete drips, i.e. H. it rains, as it were, into the underlying mold 34.
The mesh size of the sieve is chosen to be somewhat larger than the maximum diameter of the largest grain of the concrete mix. The concrete particles falling from the sieve spread on the bottom of the mold 34 in that the cement paste comes to flow as a result of the vibration of the mold and slowly pushes the air in front of it. Since the concrete particles on the sieve surface cannot all drip down at the same time when the sieve is vibrating and there is a certain distance - due to the wires of the sieve - the air always has the opportunity to move upwards from the bottom escape.
In this way, the vibrated concrete mass can practically free of air pores. be introduced.
Up to now it has been customary in practice to fill concrete with a certain volume into the mold using pouring buckets, shovels, trowels or sliding devices. A large part of the air pores stored in the fresh concrete will be able to escape upwards, even with strongest vibration, because the weight of the concrete above prevents air from escaping. The more air pores will remain in the concrete, the greater the concrete mass that is introduced at once.
A ver dense concrete according to the invention with a minimum of air pores inevitably results in a higher strength than a concrete with a relatively large number of pores. The water tightness of the concrete is also increased by the rain.
It is known that the strength of concrete depends on the water-cement factor. The lower the water-cement factor, the higher the expected concrete strength; as the water-cement factor increases, the strength of the concrete decreases. The concrete mixture can be produced by the method according to the invention with a conceivably low water-cement factor.
By using vibrating energy when emptying a pre-silo, vibrating screen (raining) and the form of the cement paste is, for example, excited three times and more willing to compress, d. H. the internal friction between cement paste and concrete particles is reduced and the cement paste still flows even with a relatively low water-cement factor. Any compaction of concrete requires a minimum of compaction work. If this is not achieved in full, the strength is correspondingly lower.
The vibration energy is therefore used as an essential help in the present mode of operation.
Experience has shown that vibrations of 9000 revolutions per minute are more successful. or more shown. It is possible to represent the vibration in the form with the help of 9000 vibrations per minute, with compressed air vibrators or ultrasonic waves 40. The vibration energy must be applied in such a way that the cement paste absolutely flows and thus the air when it is introduced drop by drop the concrete can escape.
The mold filled in this way is closed during the next work cycle (station II) by a cover 41, which is connected to the mold by strong hinges 42, and lashed airtight by means of a rubber seal 43 and lever 4.4.
After sealing, compressed air 45 is initially supplied slowly, later more strongly via a chamber 46 with a perforated bottom 47, in such a way that the pressure depends on the mass of the concrete to be compacted. At the bottom 48 of the mold 34 occurs during the pressing process by compressed air excess What water through a thin-mesh filter 49 and the perforated bottom wall 47 from. The state of the press takes place from station II to station V. During this time the concrete is compacted to such an extent that it does not give off any more water when it reaches station V.
He has a pseudo hardness; when walking on it, there is no change in shape due to the impression of the soles of the feet. In station V, the compressed air treatment in the lid is ended and the lid lock is released. At the same time, the chamber of the bottom mold, which was under normal air pressure during the pressing process, is connected to a vacuum pump. The wheel keeps moving. The curved shape of the guide rails 50 causes the entire shape to rotate 180 between station V-VI.
The lid opens completely and hangs vertically down in Station VI. The application of the vacuum treatment on the floor mold has the consequence that the compacted concrete is held in the floor mold and cannot fall out during the rotary movement. In station VI, the lid is open, the mold is turned 180, the bottom of the mold is at the top and the concrete surface is visible from below.
An extendable platform 51 built on a lifting platform 52 and controlled in the work cycle, now pushes under the compacted concrete. Just as the platform 51 of the lifting platform 52 touches the concrete, the vibrator 40 of the floor form above is briefly excited, the vacuum negative pressure is removed and some compressed air 45 is fed to the chamber. Mild compressed air and the effect of vibration cause the compacted concrete 53 to detach from the mold while the wheel slowly moves on in the direction of station I.
The plate mold car 51 is automatically lowered slightly over the stage, the concrete mold describes a rotation of 180 between station VI and I through the curve guide 50 on the edge.
Between station VI and I, water is automatically supplied to the bottom mold via the chamber, which cleans the filter 49 of fine cement particles. From station I, the process begins anew, as described above.
