Description

Hydraulic system in connection with a transmission for agricultural tractors The invention relates to a hydraulic system in connection with a transmission for agricultural tractors, in particular a power lifter operated by means of pressurized oil, which is arranged as an additional device on an agricultural tractor. The oil required to operate the system is taken from the gear unit's oil sump.

However, this oil must first be cleaned, for which purpose it is passed through an oil filter to separate out impurities. This filter is arranged at a suitable point in the oil sump of the transmission.

According to the invention, a ring line connecting the pump to the control device is provided, which has an opening covered by the filter against the oil sump below the oil level, where the oil is constantly circulated in the ring line without filtering when the working piston is at rest and during the working stroke the required amount of oil is taken from the oil sump via the filter and returned when the piston goes back through the filter in the opposite direction of flow so that the filter is cleaned by the oil flowing back.

A gear pump, which is driven, for example, by the power take-off shaft of the vehicle transmission, is preferably arranged as the pressure oil generator.

In the drawing, the object of the invention is shown in one embodiment, in which a separate container is flanged to the gear housing of a tractor.

The filter 3 is located in the oil container 1, which is flanged to the housing 2 for the vehicle transmission. The pump 4 which generates the pressurized oil and which is connected to the filter 3 by the suction line 5 is arranged on the container 1. From the pump 4, the pressure oil line 6 leads to a three-way valve 7 belonging to the control device and acting as a switching element.

which is also connected to the filter 3 through the oil return line 8 and to the power piston 10 through the line 9. The three-way haha 7 can be adjusted to the three positions 0 (idle), S (lowering) and H (lifting) by means of the handle 11. The pump 4 is driven by the PTO shaft 12 of the vehicle transmission.

The interior of the filter, suction line 5, pump 4, pressure line 6, three-way valve 7 and oil line 8 form a ring line which has an opening 13 located in the oil bath. This opening 13 is covered by the filter 3. The oil can flow through the filter in both directions between the ring line and the oil bath. When the working cylinder is at rest, the oil removed from the gear sump is circulated in the ring line by the pump 4 without the mesh of the filter being flowed through.

The cock 7 is rotated clockwise by 90 against the position shown.

During the working stroke, the three-way cock 7 is turned 90 counterclockwise from the position shown. The return line 8 is thus closed and the pump sucks in oil from the container 1, 2, the mesh of the filter being flowed through from the outside to the inside. Dirt particles are deposited on the outside of the filter. The sucked in oil is pressed through the line 6 and the three-way valve 7 in front of the power piston 10, whereby the load is lifted.

To lower, turn the three-way cock back into the position shown. The pressure line 6 is thus closed and the return line 8 is connected to the pressure cylinder. The oil now flows out of the cylinder and through the line 8 and the mesh of the filter back into the container 1, 2. This lowers the load. This time, the flow through the mesh of the filter is reversed. The dirt particles are swept away by the oil flowing back and settle on the bottom of the oil sump. The filter cleans itself automatically.

After the load has been lowered, the three-way valve is turned again by 90 in relation to the position shown in the clockwise direction, and the oil circulates in the ring line 3 to 8 without flowing through the mesh of the filter.
