Verriegelunsvorrichtung an selbsttätiger Subkutan-Injektionsspritze
Fig. 3 und 4 ein weiteres Erfindungsbeispiel,
Fig. 3 in geladenem Zustand und
Locking device on automatic hypodermic injection syringe
This invention relates to a locking device on an automatic hypodermic syringe; H. on injection syringes with which the injection is carried out automatically after the device has been unlocked, after which unlocking the injection needle is brought into the operative position and the injection liquid is squeezed out through the needle. Automatic injection syringes are particularly intended for use by civil or military personnel in cases where the patient must administer an injection to himself.
Hypodermic syringes of this type are often stored in a charged state for extended periods of time; H. in a state that enables immediate use. The locking device must therefore contain a safeguard against unintentional unlocking, whereby a satisfactory function must be ensured during use.
It is also important that the syringe can be easily reloaded after use, i.e. H. the syringe must be easily re-energized for reuse after fresh injection fluid has been introduced, which is usually in the form of a full, closed ampoule.
The device according to the present invention has a spring-actuated movement device for the moving parts of the injection syringe, a retaining latch which holds the device in tension, and a member for unlocking the device from the retaining latch. The device is characterized in that it has at least two tongues made of resilient material, which tongues are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the syringe body and designed such that they engage in a spring-loaded bolt and hold it in the tensioned position, which bolt serves as part of the movement device and is arranged in such a way that it moves in the axis of the syringe body, an unlocking member being provided at the rear end of the syringe body, which is movable in the longitudinal direction and which is designed so
that it comes into operative connection with rear parts of the tongues when it is moved against the syringe body by pushing these tongues outward so that the bolt is released.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawings and is described below. Show it:
FIGS. 1 and 2 show an example, FIG. 1 showing the device in the ready position,
2 shows the same example shortly after unlocking by removing the locking device,
3 and 4 another example of the invention,
Fig. 3 in the loaded state and
FIG. 4 in the state shortly after unlocking, analogous to FIG. 2.
The device according to FIGS. 1 and 2 consists of an essentially cylindrical part 1 which is set up by means of a thread 2 to be screwed into the upper end of a hypodermic injection syringe, which syringe is not shown. Part 1 therefore represents the rear part of the body of the injection syringe.
The rear part of the part 1 is divided into a number, preferably four, flexible tongues 3.
The tongues 3 are designed so that they engage under a flange 5 of the bolt 6 by means of the paragraphs 13, which bolt 6 is arranged within the cylindri's part 1. The bolt 6 is under the action of a spiral spring 7, which presses it towards the front of the injection syringe.
The part 1 is surrounded by a cylindrical sleeve 8; the bottom inside of this sleeve has protruding parts 9 which are designed to come into operative connection with the upper ends 10 of the tongues 3 and to push them outwards when the sleeve 8 is pushed into its outermost position. In order to secure the device against unintentional functioning, a resilient, split ring 11 equipped with a handle 12 is provided, preferably in the form of a nylon band, which is wrapped around the body 1 and on the one hand on the rib 14 of the part 1 and on the other hand the sleeve 8 is pending.
If the device is to come into effect, the locking ring 11 is first pulled away by means of the handle 12. Then one grabs the sleeve 8 and snaps or pushes the front end of the injection syringe against that part of the body on which the injection is to be made. The sleeve 8 is pushed over the part 1 and the protruding parts 9 press the inclined ends 10 of the tongues 3 outwards against the inner wall of the sleeve 8, so that the shoulders 13 release the flange 5 of the bolt 6. The spring 7 now pushes the released bolt 6 forward into the syringe body in the direction of the front end thereof.
The operations in the front part of the hypodermic syringe, which part is not shown, are not described here because they are not the subject of the present invention.
When the injection is finished and the injection syringe is to be prepared for immediate use, the entire device is unscrewed from the front part of the injection syringe body. the locking ring is attached and the spiral spring is compressed by pressing in the bolt 6 until the flange 5 can be released. No special tools are required for this process; the bolt can simply be pushed against a table until it reaches e.g. B. assumes the secured position as shown in FIG. 1, the lower end of the bolt protruding slightly over the threaded part of the cylindrical part 1. After the device has been screwed back into the already prepared front part, the injection syringe is ready for further use.
The device of Figures 3 and 4 is of that of Figures 1 and 2 with respect to the sleeve
19 different. The cylindrical part of the sleeve 19 is closed by means of a part 18 at the end, wel cher part is provided with inwardly protruding parts 17, which parts cooperate with the upper ends 15 of the resilient tongues which hold the spring prestressed th bolt in the tensioned position. The upper wall part of the cylindrical sleeve 19 has a thinner section 16. The gap between this part 16 and the protruding parts 17 is so wide that the tongues 15 can enter this gap without having to change their upward and outward direction.
For comparison, reference is made to the example according to FIGS. 1 and 2, where the tongue parts 10 must be bent from the position according to FIG. 1 into the position according to FIG. 2 when the device is to be unlocked.
