Safety device on the balance cock of clocks The present invention relates to a safety device on the balance cock of clocks, in particular wristwatches, with so-called Breguet spiral springs.
In the previously known balance cock, the distance from the block hole stone to the outer end of the cock in the regulator zone is limited by the downward regulator pins attached to the regulator. Part of the regulator protrudes over the balance cock. For the storage of the block, the latter has an extension for receiving a screw for fastening the block, which protrudes over the balance cock.
These types of balance cocks have certain disadvantages and inadequacies, since with these the spiral spring can get caught on the outer end of the regulator, on the mentioned block fastening screw or on the cock extension in which the screw is attached, if the spiral spring is exposed to violent vibrations is.
In the case of watches with a Breguet hairspring, it may happen that some of the normal, lower turns of the hairspring stick to the upper, inwardly curved turn (Breguet turn).
The aim of the present invention is to eliminate such jamming possibilities of the spiral spring by means of a novel shape of the agitator block. This new shape is characterized by the fact that the balance cock has a smooth and rounded central part with a circular groove for the reception of the outer, elevated spiral spring windings and the inlet of the downward-facing pins of the regulator that guide the latter.
The balance cock is preferably completely or partially lowered on one or both sides of the upper, inwardly curved spiral spring turn in the direction of the lower turns of the Breguet spiral spring. This prevents the lower turns of the spiral spring from catching on the upper, inwardly curved turns of the spiral spring.
One embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing, namely: FIG. 1 shows a balance cock in plan and FIG. 2 shows a section along the line 11-1I of FIG. 1.
The middle part of the balance cock 1 has a smooth, circularly rounded outer edge over the entire circumference, which protrudes beyond the downwardly directed back pins 6. Since the regulator pins 6 are arranged within the outer edge of the clamp, a circular groove 8 is provided in the clamp for the inlet of the pins 6, which allows the movements of the regulator 5. Between these pins 6, the upper, inwardly curved part 9 of the spiral spring 7 is inserted into the groove 8 and is covered by the outer part 4 of the regulator 5.
At the same time, space is also created for a screw 3 for fastening the block 2, so that the spiral spring 7 can no longer get caught on the screw 3 either. The clamp can also have several grooves or holes for regulating

exhibit tion of the position of the spiral spring. 10 is the mounting screw and 11 are the mounting pins. The aforementioned grooves or holes can be provided as follows.
On both sides of the circular groove 8 two holes with a larger diameter than the groove width are drilled. The hole drilled in the receiving hole of the block 2 should be so close to it that the receiving hole is overlapped and the circular groove leading to the winding part 9 is connected to the block 2 in which the end of the winding part 9 is attached. From the hole in the circular groove 8 remote from the block 2, a fan-shaped groove extends beyond the outer edge of the spiral spring so that the upwardly curved, straight part of the spiral spring is in the center of the fan-shaped groove. Is used for the production of the grooves and holes z.
B. a punching operation is used, it is advantageous to leave the lower part or the lower side of the block completely flat, while at the same time the half, upwardly curved, straight part and the round part of the upwardly curved part of the coil spring is placed even higher and itself approaches the top of the block. This makes it easier to center the coil spring. As can be seen from FIG. 2, the block 1 can have parts 1 'lowered against the lower spiral spring windings 7 on both sides of the pins 6, thereby preventing the lower spiral spring windings from being caught on the upper, inwardly curved spiral spring winding 9.
One or more grooves for regulating the position of the spiral spring can be made in the edge of the block.
