Hermetischer Verschluss an flexiblen Behältern
Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen hermetischen Verschluss an flexiblen Behältern, wie Beuteln, Säcken, Tüten, Taschen, Etuis, Couverts und dergleichen.
Von bekannten Verschlüssen dieser Art unterscheidet sich der erfindungsgemässe Verschluss dadurch, dass an den Rändern des Behälters, im Bereiche der Behälteröffnung, je ein Schliessband angeordnet ist, welche Schliessbänder mit je wenigstens einem durchgehenden streifenförmigen Klebstoffbelag, wie solche von den Selbstklebebändern her bekannt sind, beschichtet sind, wobei die Klebstoffstreifen in Abstand von der Oberkante des Schliessbandes, einander gegenüberliegend, angeordnet sind, so dass sie beim Gegeneinanderdrücken der Schliessbänder aneinanderhaften und den Behälterinhalt hermetisch abschliessen.
Der erfindungsgemässe hermetische Verschluss ist ausserordentlich wohlfeil in der Herstellung und überaus einfach in der Handhabung; er eignet sich deshalb ganz besonders für Haushaltpackungen, Frischhaltepackungen, Touristenpackungen und dergleichen. Für die Herstellung der Klebstoffstreifen eignen sich vorzüglich sogenannte Kautschuk- oder Latexklebstoffe, welche praktisch ein unbegrenztes Öffnen und Wiederverschliessen des mit dem erfindungsgemässen Verschluss ausgerüsteten Behälters ermöglichen.
In der Zeichnung ist eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des Erfindungsgegenstandes dargestellt, und zwar zeigt :

Der dargestellte Verschluss eines aus einer luftundurchlässigen Folie aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff bestehenden flexiblen Behälters 1 weist an der Behälteröffnung 2 zwei Schliessbänder 3 und 4 auf, die im Bereiche der Behälteröffnung 2 an den Rändern la und lb des Behälters 1 so befestigt sind, dass sie teilweise über die Oberkante lc bzw. 1d des Behälters 1 (Fig. 1) vorstehen. Ausserdem sind die Schliessbänder 3, 4 in ihrer Länge so bemessen, dass sie an ihren beidseitigen Enden 3d, 4d über die Seitenkanten le und lf des Behälters vorstehen.
Diese Schliessbänder sind auf ihren aneinander zugekehrten Seiten, dicht an den Oberkanten lc, ld und im Abstand von den Oberkanten 3b bzw. 4b des Schliessbandes je mit einem durchgehenden, streifenförmigen Klebstoffbelag 3a bzw. 4a, wie solche von den Selbstklebebändern her bekannt sind, versehen.
Durch Gegeneinanderdrücken der Schliessbänder 3, 4 gemäss Fig. 5 kommen die streifenförmigen Klebstoffbeläge 3a, 4a aufeinander zu liegen, so dass sie, die Behälteröffnung schliessend, aneinanderhaften und den Behälterinhalt hermetisch abschliessen. Im dargestellten Fall bestehen die Schliessbänder aus je einer Selbstklebefolie, die mit ihrer Klebstoffschicht einander zugekehrt, am Behälterrand angeordnet sind. Der obere Rand der Selbstklebefolie ist nichtklebend und bildet eine Aufreisslasche. Diese Selbstklebefolien 3 und 4 sind derart von aussen an den Behälter 1 geklebt, dass je zwischen der Oberkante lc bzw. ld des Behälters 1 und der genannten Aufreisslasche 3c bzw. 4c ein Klebstoffstreifen 3a bzw. 4a frei bleibt.
Für den Klebstoffstreifen wird zweckmässig ein Kautschuk- oder Latexklebstoff verwendet. Der nichtklebende obere Rand der Selbstklebefolien kann dadurch gebildet sein, dass er, wie dargestellt, nach einwärts gebogen und gefalzt ist, so dass die eingeschlagenen Partien die Klebefläche in sich einschliessen und damit nach aussen klebstofffreie Aufreisslaschen bilden. Die als Aufreisslaschen dienenden Randpartien können aber auch durch Neutralisation des Klebstoffbelages oder durch Aufbringen eines Belages nichtklebend gemacht werden.
Hermetic closure on flexible containers

The hermetic closure according to the invention is extremely cheap to manufacture and extremely easy to use; it is therefore particularly suitable for household packs, fresh-keeping packs, tourist packs and the like. So-called rubber or latex adhesives, which allow practically unlimited opening and reclosing of the container equipped with the closure according to the invention, are particularly suitable for producing the adhesive strips.

The illustrated closure of a flexible container 1 consisting of an air-impermeable film made of thermoplastic material has two straps 3 and 4 on the container opening 2, which are attached in the region of the container opening 2 to the edges la and lb of the container 1 so that they are partially over the upper edge lc or 1d of the container 1 (Fig. 1) protrude. In addition, the length of the fastening straps 3, 4 is such that they protrude over the side edges le and lf of the container at their ends 3d, 4d on both sides.
These fastening straps are provided on their sides facing one another, close to the upper edges lc, ld and at a distance from the upper edges 3b and 4b of the fastening strap, each with a continuous, strip-shaped adhesive coating 3a and 4a, as are known from self-adhesive tapes .
By pressing the fastening straps 3, 4 against one another according to FIG. 5, the strip-shaped adhesive coatings 3a, 4a come to rest on one another so that, closing the container opening, they adhere to one another and hermetically seal the container contents. In the case shown, the straps each consist of a self-adhesive film, which are arranged with their adhesive layer facing one another on the edge of the container. The upper edge of the self-adhesive film is non-adhesive and forms a tear-off tab. These self-adhesive films 3 and 4 are glued from the outside to the container 1 in such a way that an adhesive strip 3a or 4a remains free between the upper edge lc or ld of the container 1 and the above-mentioned tear tab 3c or 4c.
A rubber or latex adhesive is expediently used for the adhesive strip. The non-adhesive upper edge of the self-adhesive films can be formed in that, as shown, it is bent inwards and folded so that the tucked-in parts enclose the adhesive surface and thus form adhesive-free pull-tabs on the outside. The edge portions serving as tear-off tabs can, however, also be made non-adhesive by neutralizing the adhesive coating or by applying a coating.
