Description

Flexible suction hose, especially for industrial vacuum cleaners and suction fans The suction hoses commonly used for industrial vacuum cleaners, as they are mainly used in woodworking companies for suctioning off planing, drilling and sawdust as well as grinding dust, have a significantly larger diameter than those in Common household use, metal armored suction hoses. The larger hose diameter and the larger vacuum in industrial vacuum cleaners also require a stronger metal reinforcement of the hose.

Such a reinforcement has an influence on the weight of the suction hose and makes it difficult and difficult to handle.

The present invention relates to a flexible suction hose, in particular for industrial vacuum cleaners, which differs from the known suction hoses in that the outer shell of the suction hose consists of a hermetically sealed impregnated or plastic mass coated fine fabric and the reinforcement from one with the inner wall of the sheath firmly connected, the tube diameter stiffening and yielding in the longitudinal direction of the tube, metal-free structure.

The drawing shows an example of an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, namely: FIG. 1 shows a section of the suction hose, partially bent and partially in longitudinal section, and FIG. 2 shows a cross section along the line II-II in FIG. 1.

The suction hose shown has an outer shell 1 made of a fine fabric which is hermetically tightly impregnated or coated with a plastic compound. Rings 2 made of plastic or pressed material serve as reinforcement, which are inserted coaxially and parallel to one another, at regular intervals a from one another in the tubular casing 1 and are firmly connected to it using adhesive or the same binding agent. When using reinforcement rings 2 made of thermoplastic cal plastic, they can be connected to the shell 1 by welding.

The distances between the rings 2 allow the hose to be bent, the envelope 1 being able to lay on the inside of the arch in the spaces a between the rings 2 in inwardly jumping Fal th f, as can be seen in FIG.

In the case shown, the rings form sections of a plastic pipe, which corresponds to the cheapest method for making rings of this type.

Stamoid (registered trademark) is particularly suitable as an outer cover.
