Clutch, preferably multi-disc clutch The invention relates to clutches, preferably multi-disc clutches, in which the driving shaft on one side and the driven shaft are ruled out on the other side. Such multi-disc clutches who are used in particular for drives in which a switchable clutch must be arranged between the drive motor and the machine. The inven tion has the task of designing such couplings so that they are suitable in a structurally simple manner for installation between the drive motor and the working machine, the coupling itself being intended to form a structural unit that can be connected depending on the installation.
According to the invention, this object is to be achieved in that the connection hubs for the form-fitting reception of the driving shaft and the driven shaft are accommodated in the clutch housing. The connection hubs are advantageously designed to accommodate the coupling members and are supported against each other and against the housing. The housing can be designed as a standing, hanging or flange housing.
The electrical switching elements required for electrical switching of the clutch, such as electrical or electromagnetic Spu len, are expediently arranged in this housing. Preferably, the electromagnetic Spu len stored in the housing are designed as toroidal coils that sit outside the switching elements of the clutch and interact with a switching armature preferably mounted on the shift sleeve. The arrangement of such ring coils, which can also be enclosed in the manner of a housing, can be accommodated in the space between the housing and a bell-shaped flange of the drive hub, so that these parts are protected against harmful external influences, e.g. B. pollution, etc., are protected.
The object of the invention is provided in the drawing tion in a preferred embodiment is.
Fig. 1 is a section through a mechanically shiftable clutch; Fig. 2 is a same section through an electro-magnetically switched clutch.
In a housing 11, which can be designed as a flange, standing or hanging housing, bearings 12, 12 ', 13 for receiving the drive hub 1 and output hub 4 located within the housing are provided. The input and output hubs 1 and 4 are designed as hollow shafts which have internal grooves. The drive hub is provided with a bell-shaped flange 2, in wel chem the outer lamellae 3 are axially displaceable, but mounted positively in the circumferential direction. The inner discs 6 are stored in the grooves of a cylindri's annular jacket 5 of the output hub 4 in a corre sponding manner.
The drive hub 1 is provided with a radial wall 7 which connects the flange 2 to the actual hub part and has an inwardly directed axial flange 7 'which is designed to accommodate the inner ring 8' of the roller bearing, preferably ball bearing 8. The switching elements of the switching device, the cage 24 with the switching sleeve 10 and locking members 9 are arranged on the output clutch hub 4. The locking members 9 can slide in a ring groove of the hub 4.
The output hub 4 receives its rigidity as a carrier for the inner plate and switching elements of the clutch, in particular through the arrangement of an annular wall 15 'supporting the axial part 5 of the output hub 4. In the case of the clutch shown in Fig. 2, electrically to be switched border, a flange-like armature 15 is attached to the shift sleeve 10 in place of the shift fork 17. The switching path of this armature 15 limit each an electromagnetic coil, preferably ring coil 14, 14 '. The ring coils 14, 14 'are enclosed by housings 16 which are open on one side and which are firmly mounted in the larger coupling housing 11. When the coil 14 is energized, the armature 15 is moved to the left and the clutch is switched on.
Conversely, to switch off the clutch, the coil 14 'must be induced so that the armature 15 moves from the left to the right position immediately opposite the coil 14' and releases the clutch. The high current peak usually occurring in electromagnets with a large armature air gap is attenuated in the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 2 in that the ring coils 14, 14 'each have a steel ring 20, 20' arranged on their outer jacket 16, 16 '. These steel rings 20, 20 'cause the magnetic flux to be displaced forwards because an air gap S1 running in the radial direction is now effective before the air gap S2 running in the axial direction comes into effect.
An opposing magnetic field that reduces the attraction force exerted on the armature disk 15 is made ineffective in that a spacer ring 21 made of non-magnetizable material is arranged between the electromagnetic coils 14, 14 '. The attraction force of the magnets on .die armature disk 15 is further improved in that the armature disk 15 is magnetically isolated from the construction parts of the multi-plate clutch by a brass bushing 18 with a collar and a disk 19 made of a non-magnetizable material, for example, so that the magnetic flux is closed solely via the armature disk 15.
The bushing 18, 19 simultaneously causes the armature disk 15 to stop in the direction of rotation during their tightening by the magnets when the multi-disc clutch is stationary or rotating, so that we avoid bel currents.
The inventive way is a simple in structure and inexpensive to manufacture, all-sided closed multi-disc clutch created, which can be used as a closed structural unit in many ways.
The embodiment according to FIG. 2 has the advantage that the coupling unit can be operated remotely, with the advantages of a mechanically controlled multi-plate clutch with regard to its insensitivity and its simple structure being retained. The switching pulses are released by a control unit, which is no longer shown in the drawing, and the stationary ring magnets are supplied, which close and ventilate the multi-disc clutch. It is also an advantage that the coupling according to the invention can be directly connected to rotary or power supply units without the interposition of a power supply unit.
AC networks can be connected and that the power is supplied without slip rings, carbon brushes and holders. The ring magnets are only energized during the engagement or disengagement pulse. The arrangement described also ensures that no additional heat loads occur and the air gap does not need to be adjusted. The direct connection of the magnet coils to the three-phase or alternating current network avoids residual magnetism of the lamellas, so that the lowest possible residual torque is achieved.
