Multi-stage gear for draw benches, in particular chain draw benches The present invention relates to a multi-stage gear for draw benches, in particular chain draw benches, which can be switched smoothly under load, in which the power flow in the first, the starting gear, is
an overrunning clutch and via a pinion on the sprocket wheel of the sprocket shaft and in the work gear by means of a clutch disengaged in the starting gear with a direct connection of the motor and pinion and by overriding the overrunning clutch paralyzing the intermediate gear.
In the case of drawing benches, there is a requirement that the drawing carriage pulls slowly at the beginning of the drawing process and is then brought up to its highest drawing speed without jerking. In addition, after the pulling process has ended, it must be returned to its starting position at increased speed. Only if these requirements are met can undesirable idle times be avoided or kept at a reasonable level.
Various paths have already been taken to achieve this goal. Either single-motor drives are used, in which case the drive motor must be controllable, or the drives with two drive motors are used, with an inter mediate gear or epicyclic gear being provided between the input and output shafts.
Multi-stage transmissions are also known which have an overrunning clutch and further clutches which are arranged on the input and output shaft in such a way that the transmission can be shifted smoothly under load. In the starting gear, the power flow runs via a back gear, a freewheel clutch and a pinion that meshes with a gear arranged on the output shaft.
In order to bring the output shaft to a higher speed, the pinion is connected directly to the engine and the countershaft is paralyzed by means of a clutch that is also arranged in the starting gear, now engaged while overtaking the overrunning clutch. Here, the pinion sits on a hollow shaft centric to the motor shaft, both shafts being connectable and separable by said coupling. In the low gear the clutch is disengaged, in the higher gear it is engaged. To use such a transmission in draw benches is assumed not to belong to the invention.
Such transmissions, which are mainly used in motor vehicles, now meet, however, if you want to use them as a drive for a pulling cart, not the requirement to bring the pulling cart back into the starting position before the drawer at such a speed after the end of the pulling process that the idle time of the draw bench can be kept as short as possible.
In order to achieve this goal with simple means, especially without reversing the motor, it is proposed according to the invention that the gear wheel of the sprocket shaft with this via a coupling, and that with the sprocket shaft via a further coupling to return the pulling carriage to its starting position Serving, as well as directly derived from the motor shaft reversing drive higher speed than can be connected in the work step, both clutches being alternately engaged and disengaged.
Through this special development of the transmission, the pulling carriage can get the high return speed necessary to carry out an accelerated production process at any time, with the drive motor running continuously, simply by actuating the two above-mentioned clutches.
In a further embodiment of the transmission, a stepped transmission can be provided between the input and output shafts, which makes it possible to achieve different drawing speeds, as is known per se in drawing benches. For this purpose, the driven part of the multi-step transmission can be arranged to be longitudinally displaceable on a shaft mounted between the drive shaft and the output shaft, while the driving parts of the multi-step transmission can sit on the hollow shaft spanning the drive shaft.
A pinion can also be arranged on the shaft for the driven part of the multi-step transmission, which is in engagement with the spur gear that can be coupled to the output shaft.
Because of the necessary soft coupling when starting up and when transitioning to Ziehgeschwin speed, the coupling on the motor shaft and in the reversing drive can be designed as an induction coupling for this purpose, while the coupling arranged between the drive shaft and gear wheel is preferably an oil-hydraulic one because of the high torque to be transmitted Multi-disc clutch would be used.
The details of the invention are explained in more detail with the aid of the drawing, which schematically illustrates two exemplary embodiments of the transmission in FIGS. 1 and 2. 1 shows the drive partially in section and in plan view, which is provided for a draw bench with a non-extensive production program, and FIG. 2 shows the drive according to FIG. 1 in a modified form, in which between the input and output shaft a step transmission is arranged. This drive is advantageous to use when different drawing speeds are required.
The motor 1 constantly drives the drive shaft 2, from which the countershaft 5 is driven via the spur pinion 3 and the spur gear 4, on which the spur gear 6 is arranged, which meshes with the spur gear 7 mounted on the hollow shaft 8. The spur pinion 9, which drives the spur gear 11 loosely mounted on the output shaft 10, is non-rotatably connected to the shaft 8. With the shaft 2, the drive wheel 12 is further rotatably a related party, which drives the counter gear 14 loosely mounted on the output shaft 10 via belts or chains 13. In addition, a sprocket 15 for driving the pull chain 16 is non-rotatably arranged on the shaft 10.
The shaft 2 can be coupled to the hollow shaft 8 through the coupling 17, the driving part 17a of which is arranged on the shaft 2 and the driven part 17b of which is arranged on the shaft 8. The spur gear 11 can be connected non-rotatably to the shaft 10 by the coupling 18. For the non-rotatable connection of the counter wheel 14 with the shaft 10, the coupling 19 is provided, the driven part 19a of which is rotatably connected to the shaft 10 and the driving part 19b of the counter wheel 14 is rotatably connected. An overrunning clutch 20 is installed in the spur gear 7.
The function of the drive is as follows: After switching on the motor 1, the countershaft 5, the wheels 6 and 7, the hollow shaft 8 and the spur gear 9 and the spur wheel 11 are moved in slow gear via the wheels 3 and 4. By inserting the centrifugal coupling 18, the pull chain 16 is slowly brought into Ziehbewe supply via the shaft 10 and the sprocket 15. This is the start-up stage.
Then the clutch 17 is engaged and slowly transferred to the hollow shaft 8 (with overhaul of the slow samlaufes with the help of the overrunning clutch 20) the speed of the drive shaft 2 and thus the following drive elements and thus the pull chain gives the working speed. This is the work stage.
After completion of the pulling process, the clutches 17 and 18 are disengaged, whereby the pull chain comes to a standstill. Now the starting clutch 19 is coupled to the backward movement of the pull chain; the shaft 10 with sprocket 15 run ent counteracting the working movement at a higher speed than in the operation to return the pulling carriage be accelerated to the starting position. The overdrive gear is achieved for the return of the pulling carriage by a corresponding step-down or step-up of the drive 12, 13, 14. In order to reduce the travel of the pulling carriage shortly before it approaches the die block, the return can be braked by temporarily switching on the clutch 18 (parts 18a, 18b).
In Fig. 2 it is shown how a plurality of Arbeitsge speeds for the pulling car can be achieved in a simple manner by interposition of a stepped transmission between the input and output shaft. For this purpose, a multi-step transmission 21 is provided, which establishes the gear connection between the input and output shaft. Part of the intermediate gear 21 is located on the shaft 22; its spur gears 21a, 21b, 21e can be brought into engagement with the corresponding mating gears a1, b1, e1. For this purpose the part 21 is slidably mounted on the shaft 22.
Because of the necessary soft coupling when starting up and when switching to the drawing speed, the clutches 17 and 19 are designed as induction clutches for this purpose, while because of the high torque to be transmitted for the transmission connection of the spur gear 11 to the shaft 10, an oil-hydraulic multi-plate clutch 18 is preferred is used.
