Tension strut The invention relates to a tension strut which can be clamped between the floor and the ceiling and which serves as a straightening element when creating walls. So far, when creating partition walls in buildings, squared timbers are wedged between the floor and ceiling along which the partition walls are built. The squared timbers serve as straightening elements for the exact construction of the walls. These squared timbers must be adapted to the distance between the floor and ceiling, and their erection and wedging is therefore relatively cumbersome and takes a relatively long time.
In the tensioning strut according to the present invention, two longitudinally adjustable profile rods can be locked in the setting position by a clamping device, and a spring-influenced, longitudinally displaceable support member for clamping the tensioning strut is arranged at the end of a profile rod. Such struts can easily be used for different distances between the floor and ceiling, and the clamping of the same can be done very quickly.
In the drawing, two Ausführungsbei are shown games of the subject invention.
1 and 2 are views of a clamped tensioning strut in two planes offset by 90.
FIG. 3 is a cross section along the line III-III of FIG. 1.
Fig. 4 is a partial longitudinal section of the lower part of the tensioning strut.
Fig. 5 is a longitudinal section of another Ausfüh approximate shape of the tension strut.
FIG. 6 is a side view of the same, and FIG. 7 is a cross section along the line VII-VII of FIG. 5. In the example of a tensioning strut shown in FIGS. 1-4, there is an inner U-shaped profile bar 1 and an outer one U-shaped profile rod 2 available. At the lower end of the profile bar 1, a spring system is firmly attached. The two profile bars 1, 2 can be adjusted lengthways to each other and can be locked in the set position by a clamping device. This clamping device has a clamping screw 3, the nut 4 of which has an actuating handle.
The screw 3 penetrates an existing in the Pro filstab 2 longitudinal slot 5, the length of which the adjustment range of the two profile rods 1, 2 be true. At the upper end of the profile bar 2 an end plate 6 and at the lower end of the spring system an end plate 7 is available. Fer ner is on the profile bar 1, a foot actuation arm 8 before hand. The suspension system comprises an outer tube 9, which is fastened at 10 to the profile bar 1 by welding and is closed at the top by a plate 11. An inner tube 12 can slide in the tube 9 and is also closed at the top by a plate 13 abge.
In the cavity 14 defined by the tube 9 and the plates 11 and 13, a compression spring 15 is present. A bolt 16 is firmly attached to the plate 11, passes through the plate 13 and at the lower end carries a head 17 which limits the displacement of the inner tube 12 under the influence of the spring 15 in the non-use position of the clamping strut, so that the tube 12 cannot fall out of the tube 9.
In order to clamp the strut described between the floor and ceiling, the same is placed with the bottom plate 7 on the floor with un th adjusted profile bar 2. Now the spring 15 is biased by pressing down the foot actuating arm 8. At the same time, the profile bar 2 is moved upwards until the end plate 6 rests against the ceiling. Then by tightening the nut 4, the profile rod 2 is clamped Festge on the profile rod 1. If the foot is now removed from the actuating arm, the tension strut remains clamped between the floor and the ceiling by the action of the spring 15.
As is readily apparent, the tension strut can be easily clamped in this way at a desired point to serve as a directional element when creating a partition. From Figure 2 it can be seen that the profile bars 1, 2 are aligned on the left side, so that the partition to be placed can be aligned to this side.
Fig. 5-7 show a second example of the clamping strut. The profile bars are designed here as square tubes 21, 22 which can be telescoped into one another. A rail 23 is attached to the outer tube 22 on two opposite sides, on which a journal 24 is attached. On the axle pin 24 an eccentric 25 is rotatably mounted, which is firmly connected to an actuating arm 26. Spacer disks 27 are provided between the eccentric 25 and the rails 23. The side wall 28 of the tube 22 cooperating with the eccentric 25 is provided with two incisions 29 so that it can be pressed firmly against the corresponding wall of the inner tube 21 by the eccentric 25.
By rotating the eccentric 25 by means of the arm 26, the two tubes 21, 22 can thus be fixed against each other by clamping action.
A bolt 30 is fastened in the tube 21 and is surrounded by a ring 31 which supports a spring 32 at one end. The ring 31 is firmly connected to a Bol zen 33, which sets a disc 34 through which the upper end of a pipe 35 displaceable in the pipe 21 bleed closes. The spring 32 is supported at the bottom against the disk 34, the displacement of the tube 35 with disk 34 downward by a nut 36 screwed onto the bolt 33 is limited. A foot actuating arm 37 is attached to the lower end of the tube 21. Furthermore, a pin 38 or 39 made of elastic material, eg. B. rubber or plastic inserted.
In Fig. 5, the tension strut is shown in not clamped ter position. In order to clamp them from this position between floor and ceiling, the foot actuation arm 37 is pressed down into the dot-dash position, whereby the tube 21 is shifted downward on the tube 35 and the spring 32 is tensioned between the bolt 30 and the washer 34. At the same time the eccentric 25 is released by means of the actuating arm 26 and the pipe 22 upwards shifted ben until the pin 39 rests against the ceiling, whereupon the side wall 28 is clamped against the pipe 21 by means of the eccentric 25 and thereby the pipe 22 is fixed .
After releasing the foot actuation arm 37, the tension strut is tightened between the floor and ceiling by the spring 32, as can be seen from FIG.
The tubes 21, 22 could be round instead of square or z. B. have a triangular cross-section.
