Manually operated, mechanical device for achieving a large torque The subject of the present invention is a manually operated, mechanical device for achieving a large torque, with an operating lever that can be pivoted to a limited extent with respect to a rotational organ that delivers the torque.
The subject matter of the invention is characterized in that the pivot axis of the actuating hand lever and the axis of the rotary member are arranged at a distance from one another and the hand force exerted on the lever is transmitted to the rotary member via a toggle system .
In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the device according to the invention is shown more schematically. It shows: FIG. 1 a view of the device designed as a ratchet clip, partially in section, and FIG. 2 a longitudinal section along the line II-11 in FIG. 1
The illustrated, manually operated, mechanical device to achieve a large torque is designed as a ratchet clip. It has a flat, ring-shaped housing part 1 of which the opening is closed on both sides by a cover 2 each. Approximately in the middle of the housing part, rotatably supported in the two covers, is a sleeve 4 provided with a square opening 3 , the outer jacket of which has a peripherally raised toothing 5 </ B in the middle > has. Inside the cover 2, two rings 6 are free on the sleeve 4, one on the left and one on the right of the toothing 5 (FIG. 2) rotatably arranged.
These rings 6 are connected to one another by a transverse bolt 7 , which carries the pawl 8 of the ratchet that can be pivoted on it.
At one end of the housing part, the hand lever 10 for manual actuation of the sleeve 4 is arranged on a bolt 9 rotatably mounted in the two covers 2. The same is led out of the housing 1, 2 through an opening 11 and is restricted within the cutout of this opening around the bolt 9 in the direction of FIG Arrows A can be pivoted. The lower part 10a of the mentioned lever 10 is thickened as a bearing point to the light dimension between the covers 2 and has a notch 12 near its pivot point in which one end of the one at this end the width of the Lower part 10a is supported on facing ram plate 13 .
The other end of this tappet plate 13 is supported in a further notch 14 of the pawl 8 in such a way that the pawl is released when the tappet 13 is pressed 8 is pressed into the toothing 5 .
A tension spring 16 fastened at one end to the rings 6 and at the other end to a pin 15 fastened in the covers 2 has the tendency to pull the rings 6 in Fig. 1 clockwise while holding the plunger 13 in the notches 12 and 14. To prevent the sleeve 4 from rotating back under load, a locking pawl 18, which is supported in a notch 17 in the housing part 1 and which, by means of a leaf spring, is used > 19 is pressed into the toothing 5 .
This leaf spring 19 is fastened in a pin 20 which is mounted in the covers 2 and which can be rotated and adjusted about its axis in such a way that it pulls the leaf spring 19 except in FIG Neten position (Fig. 1) also in the dash-dotted line holds, in which the pawl 18 is switched off.
Finally, the device has an anchoring pin 21 opposite the hand lever 10, which with a forked end of its transverse web 21a is pivotable on the housing part about a pin 22 axially parallel to the pin 9 1 is attached. The other forked end of this transverse web 21a is guided in a coulisse formed by a projection 1a of the housing part 1 and a corresponding cutout in the cover 2. A scale 23 is engraved on each of the covers 2, and the web 21a is provided with an indicator arrow 24 directed towards the scale 23 .
A compression spring 25, inserted between the housing part 1 and the transverse web 21a, which, contrary to the drawing, is expediently formed by disc springs, holds the anchoring pin 21 with its web 21a in the, by a The initial position, which is not shown, is defined and shown with the scale display 0.
To achieve a high torque on an object to be rotated, it must be clamped or fixed in place in the sleeve 4 and the pin 21. The pivoting of the hand lever 10 in the direction of the counterclockwise arrow A causes the ram 13 to rotate the rings 6 on the sleeve 4 in the direction of the arrow B, taking the latter with it during the working stroke (in Fig . 1 from the dot-dashed position of the lever 10) to the fully drawn counterclockwise position. During the subsequent idle stroke of the lever, the pawl 18 prevents the aforementioned sleeve 4 from turning back.
According to the moment acting on the sleeve 4 during the working stroke on the lever 10 , the device housing swivels relative to the anchoring pin 21 against the force of the spring 25, and it can be Read off the size of this torque with the appropriate calibration of the scale 23, .
With the device described and shown, according to the arrangement of the axis of the bolt 9 and the axis of rotation of the sleeve 4 at a distance from one another, and the interposition of a toggle system 10a, 12 and 13 To translate the manual force, torques on the sleeve can be achieved by one person, which until now could only be achieved by several people at the same time or only with means of bulky, unwieldy and therefore undesirable tools.
The field of application for the device shown and described is manifold, for. B. as a socket wrench for tightening very large nuts in the assembly of large systems, for twisting profile bars, even with larger dimensions than before, in the metalworking shop, for twisting concrete irons for the purpose of prestressing in reinforced concrete construction, for straightening twisted rolling mill profiles of larger dimensions, etc. For these purposes and others, the sleeve 4 is expediently performed as a receiving part for tools that can be exchanged therein for detecting the objects to be rotated.
In many cases it is not necessary to be able to read the output torque, in which case the display device formed by the parts 21a to 25 can be dispensed with. In this case, the anchoring pin 21 would be firmly attached to the housing part 1 . Finally, the device shown and described could also be provided with a lock for switching off the indicated display device. Instead of the ratchet shown, a friction lock could also be provided for driving the sleeve 4. Of course, the device could also be structurally fixed, z.
B. be carried out in a machine or on a tool carrier.
