Fig.3 zeigt die hergestellte Verbindung nach Fig. 2.

Sheet metal covering attached to a substructure The invention relates to a sheet covering attached to a substructure, which is connected without screws to retaining profiles which are attached to the substructure and connected to the neighboring sheets.
The purpose of the invention is to design such profiled sheets or profile walls in terms of their shape and the fastening elements so that they can be manufactured cheaply and are particularly suitable for covering long surfaces without joints. The profiled sheets should be used in particular for roof and wall coverings.
There are roof and wall coverings, consisting of composite corrugated or profiled sheets, be known. With these known profiles, it is either only a longitudinal bead that secures the overlapping parts against one another, or with two-sided securing, only short lengths can be produced that require many transverse joints.
Another disadvantage of the known roof or wall coverings is that the beads and profiles are not designed so that they can be Herge by pulling. The possibility of producing the profiles by pulling is advantageous, however, since it can be used to make lengths of practically any length and also cover large roof or wall areas with a continuous path that is not interrupted by any transverse joint. This ensures absolute tightness and cheaper assembly.
The object of the invention is to avoid the disadvantages of this known arrangement and to form the profiled sheet metal and the retaining profiles in such a way that they can be produced in the drawing process, so that cheap production is guaranteed, and easy assembly and disassembly by pressure from above is possible and the fastening is done by locking.
The solution to the problem according to the invention is that the sheets have longitudinal elevations and are held together by latching with beads that are arranged in the elevations and that run parallel to these and are secured against lifting off by the latching beads with retaining profiles attached to the substructure.
Through this design, in particular through the use of beads that are produced by pulling, it is possible to connect the overlapping profiled sheets with the underlying holding profiles at the same time by a pressure from above. It is not necessary with this design that the manufacturing accuracy is too great, since any inaccuracies between the distances between the individual elevations that form the profiled sheet metal are compensated for within the beads. The locking means that a form fit is achieved that allows easy assembly and disassembly and ensures a sufficiently secure fastening.
Embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawing.
Fig.l shows five different clamping profile shapes.
Fig. 2 shows the junction of two profile strips.
FIG. 3 shows the connection established according to FIG. 2.
Fig. 4 to 7 show different ways of attaching the profile strips on the substructure.
In Fig. 1 different Ausführungsfor men are drawn from profiles. The elevations 15 of the profiled sheets run in the longitudinal direction of the sheets. The beads 3 run parallel to these elevations. The beads 3 are semicircular. But there can also be several beads in the form of indentations on the elevations to be arranged. These indentations can be arranged one above the other and opposite one another on the elevations and have a triangular or semicircular shape in cross section. In the drawing they are semicircular. They are at base 5 of the bumps.
In FIGS. 2, 3, 4 and 5 to 7, the elevations have a trapezoidal profile. The base line 4 of this trapezoidal profile is smaller than the base 5, below which the beads 3 are arranged. In FIG. 2 it is shown that the profiled metal sheets 1 are connected to one another at their overlapping points by pressure in the direction of the arrow 6.
The beads 3 then snap into one another, so that, as shown in Figure 3, the profiled sheets 1 are seamlessly connected to one another. Water penetrating approximately in the direction of arrow 7 cannot get inward, since the overlap is so extensive that it only stops at point 8. The attachment on the holding profile 10 is also done by pressure in the direction of arrow 6, as shown in Figure 4. The holding profile 10 is attached to the substructure 12 by screws 13. The screws 13 connect the substructure 12 to the base 14.
FIG. 8 shows, hatched, the point of overlap of two profiled metal sheets 1.
