Drive a rail vehicle for combined adhesion and rack and pinion operation The invention relates to a drive of a rail vehicle for combined adhesion and rack and pinion operation, in which the drive gear and at least one of the two adhesion wheels of a gear set are driven by a common motor via a countershaft and the adhesion wheels relative to the drive gear and its drive wheel are rotatably mounted. Furthermore, the adhesion drive can be switched off by a disengageable clutch.
In a known drive of this type, the clutch part of this disengageable clutch is arranged on the drive axle, the clutch being installed in the gear rotatably mounted on the drive axle for driving the drive axle. In another known drive, the disengageable clutch is located on the free side of the gear rack engaged by the gear rack and is connected to the drive gear of the adhesion drive located on the other side of the drive gear by a hollow shaft penetrating the hub of the drive gear.
In contrast, according to the invention, the driving part of the clutch is not arranged on the drive axis itself, but on a common shaft for the adhesion and rack and pinion drive. The inventive proposal makes it possible to build the coupling smaller and lighter and to move it to shafts that can be easily built and therefore better controlled. Furthermore, in this way, actuation means such as compressed air can be used for the clutch actuation without difficulty, which, due to their storage facility, do not immediately lead to the clutch disengaging in the event of a contact line current interruption. In the drawing, two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in plan section.
In the drive group according to the first exemplary embodiment, it is provided that the wheel axle 1 can be loosely rotated with the two adhesion wheels 2a and 2b, but non-rotatably with the drive gear 3 and which engages in the rack its transmission gear 4 of the countershaft 12 is connected and that a transverse motor 6 attached to the frame 5 is also used.
The motor shaft 7 passes through the motor 6 with play and is driven by the latter via the hollow stub 8 by means of the joint 9. At its other end it is connected to the pinion shaft 11 by the joint 10. This carries the drive pinion 13 and is mounted on both sides in the housing 14, which is supported at the bearing points 15 and 16 on the wheel axle 1 and is suspended by the tab 17 on the vehicle frame 5. The pinion 13 engages in the large before lay gear 18 which is wedged with the hollow shaft 19 of the pinion 20 drive gear. This is stored on both sides in the housing 14 and meshes with the gear 4. The drive gear 3 is subdivided into the actual ring gear 22 and the two-part hub 23, the ring gear being connected in the usual manner via springs 24 to the hub in a torsionally resilient manner. At the hub 23, the brake drum 25 is fastened be.
The friction clutch 27 operated by compressed air is switched into the adhesion drive. For this purpose, the pinion 20 is extended by a neck 28 which is connected to the outer, driving coupling ring 29 of the multi-plate clutch. The inner, driven coupling ring 30 sits on the countershaft 31, which sets the countershaft gears 18, 20 and the pinion 32 is keyed on at the opposite end. This engages in the gear 33 pressed onto the hub 34 of the adhesion wheel 2a. The shaft is mounted at 35 and 36 inside the pinion 20.
The opposite Adhäsionsrad 2b is just if freely rotatable on the axis. However, it is not driven when the clutch is engaged. This disposition presupposes that only relatively low tensile forces have to be exerted on the adhesion stretches to be driven on with the vehicle in question.
For the actuation of the multi-plate clutch, the pressure cylinder 37 is seen with the pressure piston 38, the outer end of the pressure cylinder being wedged with the shaft 31. The pressure medium is fed to the coupling through a sleeve 39 and channels 40 from a control valve, not shown.
In certain cases it may be advantageous to arrange one clutch part of the disengageable clutch on the outer side of the countershaft or the hitch even inside the countershaft gear that meshes with the motor pinion. In all of these cases, the coupling remains easily accessible, and the adhesion wheels do not have to be dismantled or pressed off to be able to remove the coupling.
In the second embodiment according to FIG. 2, the driving part of the releasable clutch is arranged on the input shaft 42 of the countershaft. The pinion 43 belonging to the drive gear drive is keyed to the input shaft 42. The two front gears 44 and 45 sit on the countershaft 46. The gear 47 is rotatably mounted on the axis 1 and carries the drive gear 49 with its extended hub 48.
For the adhesion drive, the inlet shaft 42 and the pinion 50 are connected to the clutch in a similar way to the shaft 31 and the pinion 20 in the first embodiment. The gear 51 meshing with the pinion 50 and the pinion 52 are rotatably connected to one another and by means of a ge common bush on the countershaft 46 ge superimposed. The gear 53 is firmly seated on the axis 1, and it is provided that both adhesion wheels are pressed onto this.
When using a longitudinal motor instead of a transverse motor, bevel gears or worm gears would also be built into the back gear in addition to spur gears. The use of intermediate gears may also be considered.
