Description
In der beigefügten Zeichnung ist der Erfindungs- gegenstand beispielsweise dargestellt. Es zeigen Fig. 1 .die Vorderansicht einer Flachstahllitze mit Eisengewicht ; Fig. 2 die Seitenansicht; Fig. 3 die benachbarten Enden von Gewicht und Litze ; Fig. 4 die Verbindung dieser Enden mittels -Ab kröpfung ; Fig. 5 ein verstärktes Litzenende mit dem be nachbarten Ende des Gewichtes;
Fig. 7 zeigt eine Litze mit umgerolltem Ende 4.
Jacquard heald with weight The invention relates to a jacquard heald made of steel, preferably flat steel, with an iron weight attached directly to it, suitable for fast running jacquard looms.
Known jacquard healds made of thin, round steel wire are connected to the weight at the lower end by means of an intermediate eyelet. It has now been shown that with fast running jacquard looms at the reversal point of the upper shed, the weights of the downward movement of the healds do not follow quickly enough due to their inertia and the high upward speed in the shed opening. This causes the weights to jump and bounce, with the intermediate eyelets becoming entangled with one another and causing binding defects in the tissue.
It has also been shown that the soldering point of the round wire strands opens and breaks.
There is also a strand of flat steel has become known, which has an oval hole at its lower end and inserted with this end into a slot with a subsequent round opening at the upper end of the weight and by pressing this end together with the weight is rigidly verbun the.
As a result of the oval hole arranged at the end of the strand, an almost 50% reduction in the cross section and thus a reduction in the durability and stability of the flat steel strand occurs at this end. Practice has shown that these strands break at the hole and bend easily.
The present invention consists in the fact that the lower end of the strand is not or only slightly weakened and is rigidly anchored to the weight.
The subject matter of the invention is shown, for example, in the accompanying drawing. 1 shows the front view of a flat steel strand with iron weight; 2 shows the side view; Figure 3 shows the adjacent ends of the weight and strand; 4 shows the connection of these ends by means of an offset; Fig. 5 is a reinforced strand end with the adjacent end of the weight be;
6 these ends in the connected state; Fig. 7 shows a rolled strand end with the adjacent end of the weight and Fig. 8 these ends in the connected state.
In Fig. 1 and 2, the flat steel strand 1 is shown with the iron weight 2 in an overall view.
The weight 2 in Fig. 3 has at its upper end one of the strength of the flat steel braid corre sponding recess 3. The lower unweakened end of the braid 1 is pushed into the recess and then the weight end compressed by means of a press. .
The press ram can consist of a corresponding cranking tool, the cranking being carried out as shown in FIG. 4, for example. The crank can be arranged several times one behind the other or also next to one another.
5 shows a strand end 4 reinforced by bending over the lower strand edge. The weight of the recess 3 'corresponds to the size of twice the strand thickness.
The strand end is pushed into the recess 3 'of the upper end of the weight, and this end is then compressed, as shown in FIG. 6.
7 shows a stranded wire with the end 4 rolled over. The weight has a corresponding round opening 6 into which a slot opens from above. The stranded wire can be pushed in from the side and then connected to this end by pressing together the weight end and spot welding.
The strand can also be anchored on the outside at the upper end of the weight.
In all versions, the ends can be connected by spot welding or additionally connected. The change in shape or shape at the strand end can be done in various ways, e.g. rolled, angled, split or the like. The upper end of the weight is then adapted to the particular executed shape. The connection of the ends is rigid in any case.
