Pump for pumping viscous masses, in particular concrete The present invention relates to a pump for pumping viscous masses, in particular concrete.
A pump construction is already known in which a delivery piston can be displaced by means of a working medium in a fixed cylinder, one end of which is provided with locking and opening elements for supplying and removing the material to be conveyed. The piston can move freely, i.e. on. no linkage is attached, and can be moved in one or the other direction due to the pressure or suction effect of the working medium on the side of the piston cut off from the conveyed material.
This construction has the disadvantage that when the piston is moved by the suction of the working medium, the thrust force exerted on the piston is limited by the prevailing atmospheric pressure. If: Now the movement of the piston in the cylinder is inhibited for some reason, it can happen that the piston gets stuck on the suction stroke.
Another disadvantage can arise in that during the suction stroke as a result of the piston leaking against the cylinder wall, air or material to be conveyed is sucked onto the side of the piston acted upon by the working medium, which also has an adverse effect on the operation. If the conveyed material is liquid concrete, there is a risk of water and cement being withdrawn from the concrete for the above reason, which is equivalent to a reduction in the quality of the concrete.
Pumps are also known that are equipped with a delivery piston and a drive piston, the pistons being coupled to one another by a rod and displaceable in coaxially arranged cylinders, one of which is locking and opening elements for closing and opening. From lead the material to be conveyed.
In such pumps, the drive piston is acted upon on both sides. The connecting rod between the pistons is therefore only subjected to tension when the two pistons move in one direction. The compressive stress makes it necessary to dimension the connecting rod accordingly so that it cannot buckle under any circumstances.
Even a very slight deflection: the rod during the compression phase would result in increased frictional stress on the rod due to the stuffing boxes separating the two cylinder chambers. In the compression phase tilting and jamming of the pistons in the cylinders is more likely than in the train phase.
The disadvantages of the previous ones. Constructions are to be avoided by the invention in a simple and safe manner.
The pump according to the invention has, as is known, a delivery piston and a drive piston which are coupled to one another by a rod and can be displaced in coaxially arranged cylinders by a pressure medium, one cylinder of which has the locking and opening elements for supplying and removing the conveyed material.
The essence of the invention lies in the fact that one line each for in and out of the pressure medium opens into the facing end parts of the two cylinders, so that the pistons in one direction by pressure on the delivery piston and in the other direction by pressure are slidable ver on the drive piston so that the rod between: the Kol ben is subjected to train in both cases.
This makes it possible to dimension the rod relatively weakly without risk and thus to save material, costs and weight. In addition to avoiding the described disadvantages of known constructions, the pump according to the invention also gives rise to additional advantages.
Since the pressure medium for the piston movement acts in one or the other direction on different calves, it is possible to design the impacted surfaces of these pistons of different sizes, for example so that the drive piston has a smaller cross-section than the delivery piston. A lower adjusting force on the piston is sufficient for sucking the material to be conveyed into the pump than for ejecting the material to be conveyed from the pump.
He mentioned reduction of the cross section of the drive piston and the cylinder in question also allows savings in material, costs and weight Ge.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows the pump partly in side view and partly in vertical longitudinal section.
FIG. 2 shows, on a larger scale, a detail of the pump in a horizontal longitudinal section along the line II-II in FIG.
Fig. 3 is a vertical longitudinal section along the line 111-11I in Fig. 2 during the suction movement of the delivery piston.
Fig. 4 is a similar illustration during the delivery movement of the delivery piston, and Fig. 5 shows the pump without a funnel for the material to be conveyed, partly in plan view and partly in horizontal longitudinal section, and schematically the auxiliary equipment required to operate the pump.
On a frame 10 two ge formed by tubes cylinders 11 and 12 are arranged horizontally and axially one behind the other.
The two cylinders 11 and 12 are rigidly connected to one another by a hollow intermediate piece 13, which also seals the interiors of the cylinders 11 and 12 from one another. In a cylinder 11, a delivery piston 14 is arranged displaceably bar, which is coupled by a tie rod 15 to a second piston 16 which is located in the second cylinder 12. Both pistons 14 and 16 are sealed against the wall of the cylinder 11 and 12 in question.
At the intermediate piece 13 there are two pipe sockets 17 and 18 (FIGS. 1 and 5), which open into one or the other cylinder 11 and 12, on the facing sides of the pistons 14 and 16. The pipe sockets 17 and 18 are used to let in and out a pressure medium, e.g. B. water, in order to produce a reciprocating movement of the pistons 14 and 16.
At the front ends of the second cylinder 12 there are electrical control switches 19 and 20 which can be actuated by the piston 16 in one or the other end position for the purpose of reversing the direction of movement of the pistons 14 and 16.
At its end remote from the intermediate piece 13, the cylinder 11 is connected to a box 21 in which a slide 22 is movably guided in the horizontal direction at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the cylinders 11 and 12 (FIGS. 2 to 4). One end wall of the box 21 carries a hydraulic cylinder 23 whose piston, which is not shown in the drawing and can be acted upon from both sides, is coupled to the slide 22 in order to be able to actuate the same.
The slide 22 has two openings 24 and 25. The opening 24 is formed and arranged in such a way that in one end position of the slide 22 according to FIGS. 2 and 3 it connects the interior of the cylinder 11 with the outlet of a filling funnel 26, which opens onto a corresponding opening 27 on the top of the Box 21 is placed.
The other opening 25 is arranged and designed in such a way that in the other end position of the slide 22 according to FIG. 4 it connects the interior of the cylinder 11 with an outlet connection 28 of the pump. In the first-mentioned end position of the slide 22, the connection between the interior of the cylinder 11 and the outlet nozzle 28 is interrupted, while in the second-mentioned end position of the slide 22 the connection between the filling funnel 26 and the interior of the Cylinder 11 is interrupted.
The slide 22 thus forms the locking and opening elements of the cylinder 11.
The for the. Additional devices required for operation of the pump described are illustrated schematically in FIG.
The aforementioned pipe socket 17 is a related party by means of a pipe 30 with a three-way valve 31, which in turn is connected to the pressure side of an auxiliary pump 34 via a pipe 32 and a throttle valve 33. The auxiliary pump 34 can, for example, be a centrifugal or a rotary veal pump. It is coupled to an electric motor 35 to drive it. The suction side of the pump 34 is connected to a liquid tank 37 by a pipe 36.
The other pipe socket 18 already mentioned is connected by means of a pipe 38 to a second three-way valve 39, which in turn is also connected to the throttle valve 33 via a pipe 40. Both three-way cocks 31 and 39 are also connected to the liquid container 37 via a return line 41.
The levers 42 and 43 used to operate the two taps 31 and 39 are coupled to one another and to a piston rod 46 by a linkage 44, 45. The latter is attached to a piston of a hydraulic cylinder 47 that can be acted upon on both sides, not shown.
A servo pump 48, which is coupled to an electric drive motor 49, is connected via a pressure medium line 50 to the spaces on one piston side of the hydraulic cylinders 23 and 47, while another pressure medium line 51 connects the servo pump 48 to the spaces the other side of the piston of said hydraulic cylinders 23 and 47 connects.
For the control of the servo pump 48 there are two electrical lines 52 and 53 which each have a pair of wires and lead to the two control switches 19 and 20, the latter of which is not shown in FIG. 5 because it is in front of the plane of the drawing is located.
The use and operation of the described system is as follows: In the time shown in Fig. 5, is with means of the auxiliary pump 34 liquid, for. B. water, from the container 37 through the pipe 32, the. Hahn 31, the pipe 30 and the pipe socket 17 conveyed into the cylinder 12, whereby the piston 16 is moved to the left in FIGS. 1 and 5.
The piston 16 also pulls the delivery piston 14 in the cylinder 11 in the same direction by means of the pull rod 15. At the same time, the piston 14 pushes liquid from the cylinder 11 to the liquid container via the pipe socket 18, the pipeline 38, the tap 39 and the return flow line 41; r 37 back. The slide 22 be found here in the clear position illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 3.
The delivery piston 14 sucks thick liquid material to be conveyed from the hopper 26 through the opening 24 of the slide 22 into the cylinder 11.
When the piston 16 reaches its end position on the left in FIG. 5, it actuates the control switch 19, which reverses the servo pump 48 via the electrical line 52 in such a way that the same pressurizes a pressure medium via the pressure medium line 50, e.g. B. oil, to the hydraulic cylinders 23 and 47 promotes and at the same time via the pressure medium: Ltung 51 from the said cylinders 23 and 47 pressure medium to the pump 48 can flow back.
With the aid of the hydraulic cylinder 23, the slide 22 is moved to its other end. 4 moved, the connection between the cylinder 11 and the funnel 26 blocked and opened between the cylinder 11 and the outlet nozzle 28.
With the help of the hy draulic cylinder 47, the two taps 31 and 39 are switched so that now the. by means of the auxiliary pump 34 liquid conveyed via the line 40, the cock 39, the line 38 and the pipe socket 18 flows into the cylinder 11, while at the same time from the cylinder 12 the liquid via the pipe socket 17, the line 30, the cock 31 and the Return line 41 can flow back to the container 37.
The liquid pumped into the cylinder 11 drives the delivery piston 14 to the right in FIG. 5, whereby the delivery piston 14 presses the conveyed goods located in the cylinder 11 through the opening 25 of the slide 22 and the outlet connection 28 and by means of the rod 15 also moves the piston 16 in the cylinder 11. in the same direction.
A pipeline (not shown) of any length can be connected to the nozzle 28, with the aid of which the thick liquid conveyed material can be directed to a desired location.
As soon as the piston 16 is in FinG. 1 and 5 reached Endhage on the right, he actuates the control scarf ter 20, which in turn reverses the servo pump 48 via the electrical line 53.
The servo pump 48 now conveys pressure medium to the cylinders 23 and 47 via the pressure medium line 51, while at the same time pressure medium flows back from these cylinders via the line 50 to the servo pump. By means of the cylinder 23, the slide 22 is moved back into the end position shown in FIGS. 2 and 3,
wherein the connection between tween the cylinder 11 and the outlet nozzle 28 is interrupted and between the cylinder 11 and the funnel 26 is opened. With the aid of the hydraulic cylinder 47, the two taps 31 and 39 are brought into the position described first and illustrated in FIG. 5, after which the pistons 14 and 16 are again moved to the left in FIG. 5 in the manner already described.
The operations described are repeated periodically as long as the motors 35 and 49 are in operation. With each movement of the delivery piston 14 in FIGS. 1 and 5 to the left, conveyed material, for.
B. liquid concrete, sucked from the funnel 26 into the cylinder 11, in order to then be ejected from the cylinder 11 through the outlet nozzle 28 during the subsequent movement of the delivery piston 14 in the other direction.
It can be seen that the movement of the piston 14 in one direction as well as in the other direction is brought about solely by the pressure action of the fluid conveyed by the auxiliary pump, this fluid once: on the drive piston 16 and once directly on the conveyor belt 14 presses.
The rod 15, which couples the two pistons 14 and 16 to one another, is therefore always only subjected to tension, but never to pressure, so that kinking of the rod 15 is completely excluded, even if the rod 15 has a relatively small transverse force. Has sectional dimensions.
The main advantages resulting from the described construction of the pump according to FIG. 1 are briefly as follows: Since the movement of the delivery piston 14 is always carried out by pressure, never by suction, of the pressure medium conveyed by the auxiliary pump 34, there is a sticking of the piston 14 closed in the cylinder,
and the thrust for driving the piston 14 to move can be made practically as large as desired, in accordance with the delivery rate of the auxiliary pump 34 and the setting of the throttle valve 33.
Even when the delivery piston 14 is moved to the left in FIGS. 1 and 5, for the purpose of sucking in conveyed material from the funnel 26 into the cylinder 11, there is no negative pressure on the side of the piston 14 facing away from the conveyed material, but rather a slight overpressure so that there is no risk of the material being conveyed or at least the liquid component 1 thereof reaching the other side of the conveying piston 14.
Because the movement of the delivery piston 14 is also reliably ensured during the movement to suck in material to be conveyed from the funnel 26 into the cylinder 11 without the assistance of gravity, the cylinder 11 can be operated in a horizontal position, which results in a lower overall height of the pump The capacity of the hopper 26 is greater than in the case of a cylinder.
The filling of the conveyed material into the funnel 26 can therefore be more conveniently successful. Another advantage is that the auxiliary pump 34 always only has to work under pressure, which ensures that no air is sucked into the liquid pressure medium. The auxiliary pump 34, the drive motor 35 and the container 37 can be set up at any distance from the pump, since friction losses in the long pipelines play a subordinate role. So far, the distance has been limited to a few meters because of the suction effect of the auxiliary pump 34.
