Lock for fastening a chain, in particular for parking lot barriers. The previously known locks for parking lot barrier chains, which are provided with a rotary holder, have the disadvantage that the use or operation is only possible with one hand while relieving the load on the chain, while with the other hand,
Key to activate the lock. The pull of the chain when hanging and unhooking it is depending on, the tension and length of the chain are often very great and a greater effort is required to operate.
The subject of the present invention is a lock for fastening a chain, in particular for parking lot barriers, with a locking mechanism which can be actuated by a key and in which the end-side connecting link of the chain hangs in the closed position.
According to the invention, the same is characterized in that the locking mechanism has a snap-on locking element which is in constant readiness for locking without the prior action of a key, the whole thing in such a way that when the connecting member is pushed into the lock, the snap element. is initially pushed away and this then automatically locks the connector.
Suspending the chain without a preceding key action has the great advantage that the chain can be held in place with both hands. This makes it easier to pull the connecting member up to the lock and to slide it into the latter.
The lock can form the head of a post fixed in the ground with means, base. It contains the locking organ suitable for holding the connecting member, which is expediently pressed into the locking position by a spring and can be moved into its open position by a key.
In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown, namely: FIG. 1 shows the lock built into a post with an attached chain, FIG. 2 shows a horizontal section through the lock according to line 11-11 in Fig. 1, Fig. 3, a section through the connecting link of the chain and Fig. 4 is a plan view of this connecting link.
The lock shown is designed as a head of a tubular steel post, which is mounted in a cement base in the. Bo & n of the parking lot. is attached. The head of the post is formed by a tubular steel hood 2 which is closed at the top by a cambered cover 2a and which is firmly connected to the post 1 by screws 3 .
The top of the pipe post. 1 is closed by a welded-on iron cover 4, so that a cavity for accommodating the mechanism of the lock is formed between this and the hood cover 2a. On the post cover 4, two bearings 5 are welded, in which a horizontal bearing bore 6 of the same has a rotation axis 7 with a triangle 7a for the handle of one Key # s is stored. An extension 6a of the bore 6 serves as a key guide.
Between the b6- the bearing pieces 5 a pawl 8 is mounted on the axis of rotation 7 , which is secured by a pin 10 is firmly connected to the axis of rotation 7 . The pawl has a wedge-shaped locking tooth 9 , the inner flank 9a of which is vertical in the locking position of the pawl and the outer flank 9b at an angle of not more than 45.9 to the horizontal cover 4 is inclined.
The Kake 9 is partially engaged between the bearing pieces 5 , with one end on the cover 4 and with its other end against the rear arm of the Klinlw supporting leaf spring 11 is pressed into its locking position shown in FIG. 1.
The barrier chain 12 is provided at its end to be closed on the lock with a connecting link 13 , which is formed by a U-shaped bracket . The bracket legs are ver at their ends by a formed as a counter tooth 14 web connected.
The web 14 that forms the opposing tooth has a triangular cross-section, the tooth flank 14a of which engaging the ratchet tooth of the pawl 9 stands in relation to the bracket plane of the connecting member 13 , while that during insertion of the connecting member 13 in, the lock on the inclined flank 9b of the pawl 9, this lifting tooth flank 14b is designed as an inclined plane.
The hood 2 forming the lock housing is provided with an insertion slot 15 which is symmetrical to the pivot plane of the locking pawl, through which the connecting member 13 is inserted - is bar and which is close to the cover 4. 16 there are recesses provided in the bearing pieces 5 , which serve as guides for the shackle legs and the connecting element 13 connected to the lock.
With 17 a dile bracket leg of the connecting member 13 connecting the cylindrical hood 2 in a form-fitting manner is designated, which covers the insertion opening 18 .
The connecting link 13 provided at one end of the barrier chain 12 can be pushed into the chain lock without the aid of a key. When the connecting member 13 is inserted into the lock opening 15 , the pawl 14 is formed by the inclined surface 14b of the web, 14 designed as a counter tooth to the pawl tooth 9 > 8 swiveled into its open position.
When the full insertion depth has been reached, the locking pawl 8 engages with its tooth 9 behind the web 14 in its storage position, so that the vertical tooth flank 9a of the locking pawl 8 rests against the vertical tooth flank 14a of the connecting element 13.
To connect the chain to the lock, the connecting link 13 and the end of the chain can be pulled up with both hands on the post 1 so that the connection causes relatively little effort. To loosen the chain, a socket wrench with a triangular hole is required, which is plugged into the Dmikant 7a of the kink axle. By turning the socket wrench accordingly, the pawl is opened against the action of the spring 11, causing the chain to fall to the ground in the desired manner.
