Continuously working mixing system for making beer mixes with a constant but controllable mixing ratio The invention relates to a continuously working mixing system for the production of mixes with a constant but adjustable mixing ratio, with the individual mixture components being fed to a mixer via metering devices: conveying means.
An essential area of application of these continuously working mixing plants is the production of mixtures consisting of various solids and mostly liquid binders for bituminous road construction, in which the solid components are mineral aggregates such as sand and grit as coarse mineral and, on the one hand, finest mineral called filler thermoplastic bituminous binders, on the other hand, are processed in continuous processes.
In the known systems, the coarse mineral is abandoned either on stripping belts or rollers, on transfer devices or dispensing devices. In these continuously operating mixing devices, the filler is either already contained in the coarse mineral and is fed into the mixing process together with this component or is given separately to the mixer by special conveying elements such as screw conveyors or the like. The bituminous binding agent is always fed to a spraying ramp by conveying pumps, from which the binding agent enters the mix through nozzles distributed over the mixer.
With these known mixing systems, a real accuracy of the composition of the mixed material can neither be achieved nor controlled, since the various components are only measured by volumetrically operating conveying elements, the performance of which is often coordinated with one another within a few increments and with manual adjustment using mechanical elements.
So is in the majority of the known, continuously working mixing plants in bituminous road construction, the drive of the feed device, z. B. the feed belt of the mineral, with the drive to the feed and metering pump for the binding medium connected. It is not possible to visually check the amount of mineral and binding agent that has actually been applied.
With the increase in the delivery of the solid constituents, the delivery rate of the .binding agent pump is immediately increased, so that the increased amount of binding agent reaches the mixer before the increased amount of mineral added, which triggered this control process. As a result, inaccuracies in the mix with over-greased zones that contain too large a quantity of binder are just as unavoidable as mix quantities that are too lean in which there is too little binder in the mineral.
If the filler is fed separately, this inaccuracy is increased by the corresponding further fluctuations in this component as well.
The continuous mixing process is therefore practically only used where the exact adherence to the mixing ratio is not important. Also, the known, continuously operating mixing systems only allow a relatively coarse, gradual change in the output of the mixer.
The majority of the delivery and measuring pumps for the binding agent can only be roughly adjusted to different delivery rates and therefore mixer outputs by gradually changing the speed, so that, given the constant ratio between the binding agent and mineral components, certain increments can be made for a mixer operated in this way - investment result.
So you are always forced to base the total output of the mixing plant on the fixed amount of binder, which results from the delivery rate of the binder pump set in each case.
Since bituminous mix in various compositions with binder quantities between about 4 to about 10 O and on the other hand fluctuates within various temperature ranges between 20 to 220 C, such a mixer performance, which is regulated according to the quantity of binder, does not allow optimal operating conditions. However, this is determined by the filling of the continuous mixer, which results from the amount of mineral and binder and which has to be adapted to the different types of mix.
In the known, continuously working mixing plants, the changeover from one mix to another is time-consuming and involves losses of material, since these systems are only switched to the desired mix by switching the delivery rate of the B.inde medium pump and the feed devices and then adjusted with the material through a practical run-up. The changeover time means time and performance losses, as this material or the mix produced during the adjustment cannot be processed.
It is also essential that in these continuously working mixing systems a visible control of the continuous mixing process taking place with display of the respective delivery rates for the various components has not been possible until now.
The invention is based on the idea of using control instruments that display the respective performance of the various conveying elements to control, regulate and enable a semi-automatic cal operation of the continuously operating mixing plant.
The above-mentioned shortcomings of the known continuously operating mixing systems are remedied according to the invention in that each metering device is in an active connection with a corresponding device indicating the respective flow rate, which device is provided with an adjustable setpoint mark in addition to the pointer indicating the actual display and if the actual value deviates from the setpoint value, the metering device is controlled via a corresponding, continuously variable transmission. The invention is explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing.
The solid mixture components are added by a device group A, which in the example shown has three continuously working metering elements 1, 2, 3, such as belt scales, for three different mixing components, such as coarse, fine grit and sand. Each belt scale is supplied with the goods in question from a corresponding storage container 22 via a pulling device, such as an electric vibration chute 4, which is driven by a motor via a continuously variable transmission 5. The from the belt scale concerned, z.
B. the belt scale 1, the conveyed amount is ge weighed and the respective actual weight on a display device 6 is displayed. A display device is provided for each belt scale. The display device 6 has a mark that can be set to a setpoint value. As soon as the actual weight displayed on the device 6 differs from the pre-set target weight, a corresponding adjustment of the continuously variable Ge gear 5 and thus a regulation of the amount of the mixture to be conveyed from the channel 4 on the belt scale 1 is carried out.
In parallel with each display device 6, a display device 7 is connected to a remote control station, which is followed by a quantity recorder 21 which records the respective delivery rate of the mixed components as a function of time.
Another device group B is used to meter the fine mineral referred to as filler. The ses will give up from a storage container 23 via a metering cellular wheel 9 of a screw conveyor 8, which it feeds to the mixer 19. In the drive to the metering rotary valve 9, a continuously variable transmission 10 is switched on, which is controlled by a display device 11, which displays the respective delivery rate of the filler given to the continuous mixing process.
This display device 11 also has a presettable target mark and controls, as described for device group A, depending on the target value compared to the respective actual value, the continuously variable transmission 10 in one direction or the other until the amount conveyed by the star feeder 9 again the voreinge - corresponds to the setpoint. In parallel with the display device 11, a display device 12 is connected to the remote control station, which also works on the quantity recorder 21, which records the respective delivery rate of the filler as a function of time.
The device group C for metering the liquid binder has a binder pressure pump 13, in the drive of which a continuously variable transmission 14 is switched on to control the speed Re. A flow meter 15 is connected to a display device 16 that makes the respective flow rate of binding agent visible. Here, too, the display device 16 is provided with a presettable mark which defines the setpoint value of the respective binding agent delivery rate.
If the displayed actual value deviates from the preset nominal value, the display device 16 then controls the control gear 14 in one direction or the other until there is again agreement between the nominal value and the actual value. The binding agent is fed through nozzles 18 into the continuous mixer 19 and sucked out of the binding agent container 20.
In parallel to the display device 16, a display device 17 is connected on the remote control station, via which the flow recorder 21 records the respective delivery rate of the liquid binder as a function of the time.
The mixing system according to the invention is thus due to the coupling of the infinitely variable conveying elements for feeding the various components of the mixed material, such as sand; and chippings, fillers and binders equipped with the display devices for these components with secure control devices for the respective composition of the mix. Measurement errors can thus be visually identified immediately and can be made visible or audible.
The passage display devices 6, 11, 16 are coupled and switched to the continuously variable drives by mechanical, electrical or photoelectric elements in such a way that the conveyance is automatically regulated. This regulation is made in such a way that a constant quantity ratio between the various components of the mix is maintained fully automatically. The quantity regulation of the various components is coordinated by a delay circuit in such a way that the actual merging of the excess or insufficient quantities in the mixer 19 occurs simultaneously.
The conversion of the continuous mixing plant described can be carried out in the shortest possible time and with such accuracy that start-up losses of material or mix are eliminated and incorrect mixes avoided.
The progress display of the individual delivery quantities on a control stand enables the continuous task to be monitored and the entire system to be remotely controlled. In addition to the quantity recorder 21, this control point is also provided with remote thermometers and temperature recorders for the various components.
