Motor vehicle There are motor vehicles known whose chassis supporting the Mo tor consists of two axle assemblies with swinging half-axles, a rigid central connecting pipe and cross members.
The cross members, which are used to support the car body, are attached to the central connecting tube and the swinging half-axles are in turn supported resiliently on the car body, so that the chassis, in particular the connecting pipe and the cross members, just like the car body itself, bending and / or absorb torsional forces and must be dimensioned accordingly strong.
It is also known to fork the central tubular frame at the front or rear to accommodate the engine transmission block and to stiffen this frame fork with cross members, one of the cross members also being used to support the rear swing axle via coil springs. However, the attachment or storage of the car body is also carried out at their points with the same disadvantage of the introduction of forces in the chassis that cannot be precisely measured.
In contrast, the invention aims to create a motor vehicle in which the weight of the car body and the payload is supported by the shortest possible route on the wheels and the chassis is largely relieved, so that this can be dimensioned much weaker while reducing the construction effort.
The motor vehicle according to the invention, whose chassis supporting the engine also consists of two axle assemblies with oscillating half axles, a rigid central connecting pipe and cross members, is characterized in that the cross members are fastened to the axle assemblies via the oscillating half axles and the oscillating half axles via spring elements provided at the wheel-side end supported on the cross members and the support points are also used to support the car body, the shock absorbers also attacking the cross members.
As a result, the weight of the car body and the payload should be supported by the spring elements on the wheels as quickly as possible and thus the bending and / or torsional moments in the frame components, especially in the central connecting tube and in the cross members, that occur in any other form of power transmission , be avoided, so that these chassis parts can be made of lightweight construction.
The car body can be connected to the chassis at only four points, so that inaccuracies in the manufacture of the car body can be easily compensated for at these points. The chassis then represents a unit that can be moved by itself, which makes assembly easier and offers the possibility of using the same chassis for different structures that only need to match with one another with regard to the four fastening points.
Appropriately, rubber bodies are attached to the cross members at the support points of the spring elements, which in turn receive the fastening screws for the car body. In this way, dimensional inaccuracies can easily be compensated and the car body is isolated from the chassis in terms of noise.
The spring elements are supported in front of geous to the swinging half-axes and the cross members by engaging central pins in ball sockets so that the springs can freely adjust depending on the position of the swinging half-axes against the cross-members and are not bent during the pivoting movement of the half-axes. Finally, a particularly simple construction results when the upper ball sockets have screw bolts which penetrate the cross member and which at the same time serve to fasten the rubber bodies on the cross members.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing. 1, 2 and 3 show the chassis of a motor vehicle in side view, top view and Vorderan view, and FIG. 4 is a section along the line IV-IV of FIG. 2 on a larger scale.
The chassis consists of the front axle unit 1, the rear axle unit 2 and a rigid central connecting pipe 3, both axle units with swing half axles 4, 5 are equipped. The motor 6 is flanged behind the rear axle and the gear change gear 7 in front of the rear axle on the differential gear housing 8, these parts forming the rear axle assembly. On the axle assemblies 4.5 cross members 9, 10 are attached via the swinging half-axles, on which the swinging half-axles are supported by spring elements, the spring elements being arranged at the wheel-side end of the half-axles.
The support points of the spring elements are also used to support the (not shown) car body, which can be constructed belie big.
At the support points of the compression spring 11 and a rubber hollow spring 12 best existing spring elements are attached to the cross members 9, 10 rubber body 13, which in turn receive the fastening screws for the car body and wear a screw sleeve 14 above for this purpose. The spring elements are supported on the swinging half-axes 4, 5 or on the cross members 9, 10 by central pins 17 engaging in ball sockets 15, 16, the upper ball socket 16 each having a screw bolt 18 which penetrates the cross member 9, 10 and at the same time the fastening supply of the rubber body 13 is used on the cross member.
The shock absorber 19 also acts on the cross member.
