As weft yarns at least partially stretchable yarns which is inserted undrawn between the upper and lower shed are used and during or after, but preferably immediately after weaving into the goods.
A yarn is used as the stretchable weft yarn which remains compressed under the action of a </ B > Fixing means, for example in form of detachable alginate threads which can be twisted with the above mentioned weft yarn .
The USA patent No. 2 731 788 relates to a five sewing thread which consists of two threads, one of which is detachable in order to reduce the shrinkage of the sewn Avoid materials along the seam .
The loosable thread can form the core of twist , while rend the insoluble thread </ B > is wound around it in a spiral .
An example of a textile material which is important for the trade and which contracts when wet is the general < B> is known terry towel which has decorative hems at the ends of the towel, with different types of fabric in the main part of the terry cloth or in the </ B > Ornamental hems can be used .
If this type of towel is wet and the fibers begin to swell, then the total length of the decorative hem shrinks by more than the length of the adjacent protector animal tissue on both sides of the decorative hem and causes a crinkle selung the terry fabric. This pucker increases after repeated washing.
For the fabric part of the towel, a relatively simple type of fabric is normally used det,
in which the warp and weft threads alternately cross each other only over one or two threads. The usual swelling of these yarns then causes even shrinkage either in warp or in < / B> Visual view in the main neuter fabric part. Unfortunately occurs however
a due to undesirable puckering of the terry cloth fabric in the vicinity of the decorative hems, since these hems have a different fabric construction used . During the weaving of the decorative hem, one of the threads crosses, see B. the weft thread, above and below a number of warp threads that are arranged in a group, which requires,
that the weft arches over a considerably greater number of warp threads.
Despite many efforts to date, this problem of becoming wrinkled has practically still no solution in the towel industry. This method according to the invention has been solved for the first time by eliminating every noticeable curling of the towel along the connection point of the main part of the terry fabric and the decorative hem.
This long desired result was without a change in the fabric construction of the towel and without Change of the fabric pattern of the decorative hem achieved.
It was found that a water-absorbent textile fabric, in which neighboring surfaces differ Fabric constructions and having different shrinkage properties, can be produced if one of the neighboring ones during production Areas as weft or warp threads a composed yarn consisting of a dissolvable yarn and a permanent,
spi- ralig thread wound around it, and then the dissolvable thread is removed. When used in the manufacture of towels, the method according to the invention can prevent the above-mentioned curling from occurring if in the / B> hem a weft thread in spiral or helical form is used,
As a result, after the fabric has been woven the effective length of the thread by a substantial actual amount, so for the example by 5 to 25 % or more is enlarged. The spirally or helically arranged yarn can in the hem in the usual manner and approximately in the same length as a conventional non-spiral total yarn one one weft thread
be interwoven. The original, excess length of this yarn becomes useful and effective when the yarns get wet, As would be the case when washing the towel by straightening the screw line-shaped or spiral yarn arrangements .
This effectively increases the length of the wet swollen weft and allows it to contract without and therefore excessive contraction can also arch over the group of several warp threads without any deformation the towel.
So that the helically or spirally arranged shoe thread using a conventional weaving device in the decorative hem < / B> can be satisfactorily woven , a temporary core yarn is used, around which the weft thread is helical or spirally is wound,
whereby the core yarn serves as a carrier for the spirally wound weft yarn . The core yarn is made from a suitable suitable material which can be easily treated by wet treatment of the woven textile material </ B > can be removed , preferably liquid or solutions being used, as they are used for finishing towels usually be applied.
These liquids have a dissolving effect on the core yarn without attacking the weft thread , which spirally or helically around the core yarn is heart-wound. Examples of a suitable temporary core yarn are silk, Wool, synthetic pro tein fibers, vigkose fibers,
Alginate fibers, polyvinyl fibers, alkali-soluble cellulose derivatives, in solvents soluble cellulose derivatives, cellulose acetate and carboxymethylellulose. Examples of liquids that use to ' dissolve and remove the core yarns will can,
are water, steam, alkali, acetone etc., which are selected according to the type of fiber used in the core be. If necessary, heating can also be used . Examples of permanent spiral yarn are cotton, viscose, nylon, acetate, polyester etc.
For producing the composite weft thread with temporary core yarn and a helical or spiral weft thread wound around the latter animal thread , the two threads can be twisted with one another in such a way that the temporary core thread remains almost straight ,
while the weft thread is wound around the core thread helically or spirally in a suitable manner around in </ B > redarfafall deliver the required excess length .
The yarn used according to the invention with a potentially tial excess length is normally as weft - used thread in the hem or stripes, which has other characteristics than the adjacent fabric parts of the towel in order to prevent puckering .
In other their products and in other fabric samples of course the excess length has search B> can be used as chain thread . This would be the case for example with the selvedges of the terry towels, which are woven at right angles to the decorative hem .
The selvedges have dib tendency to shrink more than the adjacent lengthways parts of the towel to and < B> cause a general formation of folds in the overall shape of the towel in its longitudinal direction.
Another example of a fabric construction which would cause such wrinkles is a decorative chain-wise stripes in a fabric.
In the accompanying drawings as embodiments of the subject matter of the invention and examples of its usual production method are shown. represents.

Fig. 1 shows a towel 10 with an ornamental border 11 sewn previously known manufacturing method in which fold formation g 12 is effected as soon as the towel has been subjected to a number of washes and dryings. As shown in Fig. 3 , this decorative hem consists of chain threads 13 and Sohusa threads 14th
In the case of an ornamental hem of this type, the chain threads 13 are tied together in groups and such bundles are or groups B> arrive via a weft thread 14, where the arrangement shown in FIG. 3 is created.
If the Sohus threads 14 and warp threads 13 of the previously known embodiment would sew the pig. 1 and 3 wet such as when washing,
Then the threads begin to swell and the diameter of the threads enlarge see. The tensions generated during the weaving of the stoffee are released when the cloth is wet.
The yarns then butt against each other, where they cross each other while their diameter increases. In the previous construction , the pig would be hewn. 1 and 3, the bundles warp threads 13 are much larger than the weft threads 14. in wet conditions < / B> enlarge therefore warp threads 13 in bundles and tend to ge - </ B>
straight remain aligned, while the weft threads 14 swell and their bow becomes higher to accommodate the enlarged th < B> to adapt the volume of the threads 13, thereby bringing the bundles closer together. This results in shrinkage and wrinkling 12 in transverse alignment of the hand towel 10 along the decorative hem . </ B >
In the manufacturing process according to the invention, a spiral Carn 19 is used, that as the shoe thread together with < / B> Bundling one chain thread 16 for the decorative hem 17 of a towel 18.
This spirally wound yarn 19 can be woven into a fabric without impairing or removing the spiral graze, as shown in Figs. 2 and 4 .
After the fabric has been woven , the core holding the spiral in the yarn can be removed. This removal will </ B> the additional thread length available, which is required to prevent shrinkage, and that Weft 19 allowed,
to increase his bow oäne the warp threads closer together, which would cause soot contraction and creasing, which </ B> Thread bundles 16 can stretch,
without exerting pressure on the never bordered Sehuso threads 19 . Tensions in the tissue are also eliminated.
The bundles 16 are therefore not pulled together and shrinkage does not occur. Referring to Fig. 5 and 6 the spiraling is achieved by using the desired yarn,

Under half the guide bar 33 the two yarns 19 and 20 come together, to pixesend to be twisted together.
The speed of the driven rollers 28 and 31 can be adjusted independently of one another by any suitable means , so that one roll can rotate faster the other . The driven roller 28 has a higher rotation speed "than the driven roller 31 o set,
