Abwasser benutzt man sogenannte Bürstenwalzen.
Rotor for introducing gases into liquids, especially for aerating water and wastewater. So-called brush rollers are used for aerating and cleaning water and wastewater. These usually consist of a shaft and several combs made of resilient, rust-free sheet steel, which are fastened radially on it or are inclined to the radial and run over the entire length of the brush shaft. There are also brush combs made of plastic or aluminum.
The brush combs are inserted into grooves in the brush shaft and who are attached to it by cast and caulked lead. In more recent times, this usual fastening has also been set by a terminal strip fastening.
The invention relates to a rotor, which consists of a shaft and radially or obliquely mounted on it Be ventilation bodies and which is characterized according to the inven tion is characterized in that the Belüf processing body consist of rigid rods and with their ends facing the shaft between two with the Shaft screwed terminal strips are attached, which have deformations on their side surfaces converging against the shaft for receiving the rod ends and which clamp the rod ends between their side surfaces by frictional engagement.
The ends of the rods in contact with the shaft can also be slightly slit or spread open so that when the terminal strips are tightened the spread end is returned to its original position in order to increase the adhesion of the frictional connection.
The drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section through a ventilation rotor, FIG. 2 shows the associated cross section and FIG. 3 shows a view of two adjacent clamping strips and the ventilation elements clamped in between. The rotor shaft is denoted by 1, the rigid ventilation body made of z. B. rods V-shaped cross-section with 2 and the terminal strips, which are distributed around the shaft, with 3.
The individual terminal strips 3 consist either of a single die-cast piece of approximately wavelength and trapezoidal cross-section or of several corresponding individual pieces. They are screwed to the shaft 1 by means of the screws 4, which go through openings 5 in the terminal strips 3; Spring washers 6 are located between shaft 1 and terminal strips 3.
It is advantageous to slightly slit or open the ends of the rods in contact with the shaft in order to increase the adhesion of the frictional engagement. The side surfaces 7 of each terminal strip have recesses 8 and 9 for inserting the bars. The recesses 8 and 9 comprise at least part of the circumference of the rods. Instead of the recess 9 in the one side surface, an elevation 10 protruding from the side surface can also occur.
The deformations 8 to 10 provided in the side surfaces have to depend on the respective profile of the ventilation elements 2 being used, because the clamping strips 3 are supposed to support the rods 2 when the clamping strips 3 are tightened against the shaft 1, between their side surfaces 7, clamp by frictional engagement and hold them securely while the shaft rotates. The V-shaped cross-section of the rod is just one example; you can also rods of other cross-section, z. B. W-shaped, fächerför shaped, round cross-section, choose and attach between the terminal strips. With a W-shaped cross section you would z.
B. recesses 11 and he elevations 12 use. It should also be mentioned that the solid shaft 1 can be replaced by a hollow shaft, and that the terminal strips 3 do not need to be made of compact material, but also of U-profiles or the like for reasons of weight savings, but the convergence of the Leg is to be maintained against the shaft.
You can also screw every second terminal strip tightly to the shaft, to a certain extent design it as a fixed strip, and only select the strips in between to be tightenable; Finally, the terminal strips can also be used to balance the rotor by tightening the screws 4 to a greater or lesser extent.
The rotor described has a number of advantages over the brush rollers mentioned above. In particular, the rigid rods achieve a higher oxygen input when aerating water or a higher input of gases into liquids and facilitate assembly work, preferably when replacing rods if one of the rods should break off.
