Electric workplace lamp The present invention relates to an electrical cal workplace lamp with a lead laid in the hollow swivel arm and at least one joint in which hollow cylinder parts cut perpendicular to the joint axis are mutually clamped by means of an axial screw connection.
In some previously known work lights, the joints consist of two sleeves that are closed at their end and are pressed together by a screw and nut. However, these simple joints have the disadvantage that the screw connection loosens after turning the joint once or twice and the lamp leaves its desired position.
In another known workplace lamp, the joints are designed in three parts, but it follows the determination of the joints by form-fitting, in which two corrugated disks are pressed together by Federkap pen. This now has the disadvantage that the corrugated disks wear out when the joint is operated frequently, and that the joint is not continuously adjustable, which is particularly noticeable in the case of large lamp arm lengths.
The purpose of the invention is to create a task light whose joints do not loosen easily and whose power supply is protected in the joints.
The workplace lamp according to the invention is characterized in that the joint has a three-part hollow cylinder which allows the cable to be passed through the joint, where the two outer cylinder parts are connected to one another in a rotationally fixed manner.
Such a joint has, for example, a fork part fastened to one arm of the lamp, between the prongs of which there is another joint part connected to the other arm of the lamp. The screw connection then engages the mutually immovable prongs of the fork part so that the screw connection cannot be released by actuating the joint.
In addition, the electrical cable can be completely encapsulated inside the arms and joints in such a work place lamp, so that the laying of the lines in an armored pipe, which is necessary in machine tools, is superfluous.
In the accompanying drawing, a Ausfüh approximately form of the subject invention is shown for example; 1 shows a perspective view of the workplace lamp, FIG. 2 shows a section through one of the two middle joints, FIG. 3 shows a section along the line III-III of FIG. 1, and FIG. 4 shows a partial section along the line IV to IV of FIG. 1.
In Figs. 1 and 2, 1 denotes a screw force for attaching the work lamp for example on a table top. Welded with her is a sleeve 2, the upper part of which is tapered on the outside and is provided with at least two, here four, longitudinal slots 2a. The sleeve 2 also has a thread 4 for receiving a rimmed over union nut 5. By screwing in the union nut 5, the end parts 3 of the sleeve 2 separated by the slots are pressed onto a bolt 6, making its rotation difficult or even impossible .
The bolt 6 is firmly connected to a central sleeve 7, the axis of which is perpendicular to that of the bolt 6. An end sleeve 8 and 9 adjoins each side of the central sleeve. The two end sleeves are pressed against the central sleeve 7 by a screw 10 and nut 11, the screw head and the nut nestling against the outer shape of the end sleeves. Between the middle sleeve 7 and the end sleeves 8 and 9 there is a plastic disc 12 each in order to reduce the wear between these parts.
Depending on the tightening of the screw 10, the rotation of the end sleeves 8 and 9 in relation to the central sleeve 7 is made more difficult or easier. At each end sleeve a tube 13 is BEFE Stigt, the other end of which is attached to a joint identical to the joint just described. The middle sleeve of this joint carries a tube 14, the diameter of which slightly exceeds the diameter of the tubes 13. The front or upper end of the tube 14 carries a swivel joint similar to that designated by the reference numbers 2-6. In this joint, the sleeve 2 ends in a fork-shaped end piece 15.
In FIG. 3, each of the two flat prongs 16 of the end piece 15 has a threaded hole 17 into which a large-headed screw 18 is permanently screwed. A cylindrical part 19 of the screw serves as the axis of rotation for the attached tab 20 attached to a reflector 23, 24. A plastic disc 21 between the tab 17 and the screw head 18 reduces the wear caused by the repeated inclination of the reflector.
The reflector, partially cut in FIG. 4, consists of an actual metal reflector 24 and a cylindrical reflector base which contains the lamp socket 25 and is fastened to the arm of the lamp by means of the tabs 20. In order to ensure that little of the heat generated by the lamp reaches the cylindrical reflector part 23, and to increase the amount of reflected light, this cylindrical part is closed off by means of a metal disk 26, which can be easily removed after unscrewing a lamp socket ring 27.
Of course, it is possible to subdivide the arm of the lamp by even more joints, just as it is also possible to reduce their number in that, for example, only the swivel joint 2 to 6 and the tilt joint 7 to 12 are present. It is also possible to provide only a single one instead of the two tubes 13, this of course being attached to both end sleeves 8 and 9 in order to connect the sleeves to one another in a rotationally fixed manner.
The power supply enters the arm of the lamp through the central sleeve 7 and passes through one of the tubes 13 into the upper of the middle joints and the tube 14 into the end piece 15, where the cable exits to return to the cylindrical reflector at 28. gate part 23, which contains the lamp socket, to enter. In order to prevent repeated, complete rotations of the uppermost swivel joint, this can advantageously be equipped with a rotation limit stop.
The clamp used to attach the work lamp to a table top 1 can be of course by an ordinary base or by a device for fastening to a wall or by any other fastening device he is.
