Fig. 2 zeigt die Vorrichtung in Arbeitsstellung.
Control device for actuating a working piston by means of a pressure medium For the actuation of compressed air pistons and the like, valves are known which open the air inlet via the compressed air line in response to a command pulse. If, with such a compressed air piston, after the work stroke has taken place, the air inlet is blocked by the valve, the piston chamber and the pressure line remain under pressure. Now to take the pressure off the piston is another one. Valve provided that allows the piston pressure chamber and possibly the supply line to be vented.
The deflation of the air through a second valve is cumbersome in that this valve must also be controlled in accordance with the control of the first valve. This disadvantage is eliminated by the invention. The control of the compressed air inlet and the venting of the piston chamber is achieved by coupling the two valves.
The invention relates to a control device for actuating a working piston by means of pressure. The invention consists in that a non-return valve which is arranged in the way of the pressure medium to the working piston and which is kept closed in the flow direction in the rest state under the action of a spring, and a vent valve which keeps the pressure chamber of the working cylinder open to the outside in the rest state, are present, and that the two valves are coupled to one another by means of a spring of the type
that after closing the vent valve, the non-return valve opens immediately and releases the flow of pressure medium so that the working piston executes its working movement.
The following exemplary embodiment explains the invention. Fig.l shows a section through the control device in the rest position. Fig. 2 shows the device in the working position. In the housing 1, the lock nut 2 is screwed. The plug nipple 3, which is attached to the end of the compressed air supply hose 23, is screwed into the latter. A protruding over the thread extension 2a presses on a sealing washer 6 made of rubber located at the bottom of the threaded hole. So that a complete seal of the interior of the lock nut is enough.
In this interior space, displaceable in the axial direction of the lock nut, there is the closing part 4 of the check valve, which in the rest state is pressed against the sealing washer under the action of the spring 5. The spring 5 keeps the check valve closed in the flow direction. In the same sense, the pressure medium supplied via the hose 23, for. B. compressed air, and supports the spring pressure and thus ensures a safe shut-off of the compressed air.
The check valve 4 has a dome shape. Ribs 4a provide precise guidance in the extended part 2a of the lock nut.
In the axial direction of the check valve, the tubular closing part 7 of the vent valve, guided displaceably in the housing block, is arranged. The locking spring B is located between the check valve and the vent valve. This is supported with its upper end on a flange of the pipe 7. The spring blocks the check valve and the vent valve apart, so that a passage for the air is created. In the check valve 4 is the seal 15, which interacts with the edge 7b of the vent valve.
The spring 8 is located in an enlarged bore 9 in which the transverse threaded bore 10 opens. The connection piece 11 for the supply line after the compressed air cylinder to be actuated is screwed into this threaded hole. The end of the vent valve protruding from the housing is provided with the pressure cap 12, under which there are air outlet slots 7a. The actuating lever 13 is let into the housing with its fulcrum 13a . The upward movement is limited by the stop 14.
Under the action of the locking spring 8, the vent valve 7 is pressed against the lever 13 in the resting state, and between the edge 7b and the seal 15 there is an open air passage. There is thus a connection along the arrow 16 from the line leading to the compressed air cylinder through the outlet slots 7a to the outside. The pressure chamber of the piston of the working cylinder is thereby kept open to the outside ge. The spring 18 presses the lever 13 in the rest state continuously against the stop 14. A roller 19 allows z. B. the decrease in the control movement of the lever of a rotating cam or the like.
The spring 8 is dimensioned in such a way that it is able to move the ventilation valve safely in the drawn idle state, overcoming the guide friction and the friction of the additional seal 20. Since this spring is supported against the check valve 4, the check valve spring 5 must be dimensioned in such a way that the check valve 4 presses securely sealingly on the sealing washer 6, even if no additional air pressure reaches the valve 4 via the nipple 3.
If now, by pushing in the vent valve 7, it executes its closing movement against the check valve 4, it encounters the sealing washer 15 in the check valve. At this moment the vent valve closes completely and the check valve is lifted.
The mode of operation is as follows: The incoming compressed air reaches the valve chamber of the nut 2 via the nipple 3, according to the arrow 17. The supply line leading from the connector 11 to the compressed air cylinder is depressurized and has a connection to the outside as shown by the arrow 16. In the idle state, the compressed air presses the check valve 4 at high pressure, keeps it closed and blocks the compressed air against the compressed air cylinder. At the same time, the compressed air cylinder is connected to the outside on its pressure side via the path according to arrow 16. When pressing down the lever 13 and pushing in the vent valve 7, the edge 7b on the device 15 closes the pressure cylinder from the outside air.
When the valve 7 is pushed further, the check valve is immediately lifted off the sealing washer 6, and the result is the working position according to FIG. In this position, the compressed air flows according to the arrow 17a, the lifted non-return valve 4 and finally passes through the bores 9 and 10 into the pressure chamber of the compressed air cylinder; the piston now performs its working movement. If the lever 13 is then released again, it returns to its idle state under the action of the air pressure and the spring 18.
Here, the valve 4 comes to rest on the sealing washer 6. At the same time, the edge 7b is lifted from the you device washer 15, and there is a venting of the pressure chamber of the working cylinder and the connec tion line.
The venting of the working cylinder follows immediately, i.e. without any delay, the shut-off of the compressed air. This results in the working piston being able to work quickly and very precisely. The working piston is expediently returned by means of a return spring. The retraction takes place with minimal effort, since the pressure chamber has been completely vented immediately beforehand.
The control device enables the filling and emptying process in the working cylinder, apart from the flow time in the connecting line, practically without delay.
The control device can advantageously also be used in two ways with a double-acting piston. Venting occurs immediately after the working pressure has ended at the end of a working stroke. The compressed air cylinder can beitshubes so immediately after completion of its Ar. be pushed back in the opposite direction with compressed air via a second valve.
