Wendet man z.

Pesticides copper compounds such as copper oxychloride, copper oxide, copper carbonate and the like. a. are very suitable as fungicides for combating fungal diseases such as B. Phytophtora, Cercospora, Peronospora, Fusicladium etc. However, the cost of copper compounds is quite high here.
In practice, for example, to control Phytophthora, 2.5 to 5 kg of copper oxychloride or 1.2 to 2.4 kg of copper oxide are required for a 1 ha potato field per spray. Because of these high amounts of copper compounds, burns on the objects to be treated or growth disorders easily occur.
It has been found that large amounts of copper compounds can be saved if they are used together with small amounts of tin, silver, molybdenum, cobalt or cadmium compounds.
The subject of the patent is therefore a pest control agent which is characterized in that, in addition to at least one fungicidally active copper compound, it contains at least one silver, cadmium, cobalt, molybdenum or tin compound. Through the additives mentioned, the copper connections are activated extremely, i. that is, a synergism occurs. The unexpected increase in effectiveness makes it possible to save large amounts of copper and avoid burns and growth disorders.
If you apply z. If, for example, a combination of copper oxychloride and cobalt dichromate is used, experiments have shown that only 900 g of copper oxychloride = 520 g of metallic copper per hectare are required to combat the phytophthora.
A common modern copper spray requires at least 2.5 kg of copper oxychloride per hectare - 1.45 kg of metallic copper.
