Device for deflecting and braking vehicles departing from the roadway. The invention relates to a device for deflecting and braking vehicles departing from the roadway, which device can be attached to poles, masts, trees or walls, for example.
It is characterized by horizontally rotatable rubber-elastic rollers. The roles can e.g. B. be stored on vertical ropes of a Netzwer kes, which is preferably made of plastic.
It is advisable to mount the network on resilient supports that are bent like a horn and attached to posts. The piles can be provided with detachable earth anchors.
The network can be spread out in one plane or - in the case of posts, masts and trees - it can be ring-shaped.
For attachment to posts, masts or trees, the rubber elastic rollers can be arranged on ring-shaped, resilient elements which are carried by a bearing formed from two tires with rollers running between them.
The invention enables a device which steers vehicles departing from the roadway back into the roadway without endangering the people sitting in the vehicles and practically without damaging the vehicle itself. Since the rollers coming into contact with the vehicle can be made of a rubber-elastic material or covered with such a material.
The device can be designed so that it can be adapted to any road situation and curve and both at the roadside and z. B. in the middle of the street, as a delimitation of two lanes, can be used. This is of great advantage, especially on motorways, because then the middle strip, which was previously a few meters wide, can be kept very narrow. The device can also be attached to walls, masts, trees, corners of houses and driveways in houses, garages, gas stations and the like, so that not only the vehicles concerned, but also the structures are protected against damage.
Especially when the device is attached to bridges, chasms, bottlenecks, protruding obstacles, dams or on the edges of roads that run next to rivers, lakes or the like, this means a considerable safeguard for drivers against possible dangers .
Exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawing.
It shows schematically Fig. 1 a device as it can be provided on a street ssenrand or in the middle of a street or car, etc., Fig. 2 a device for changing a column, a tree or the like in horizontal section, Fig. 3 another embodiment for the order of a column or the like in horizontal section, Fig. 4 this device in elevation, Fig. 5 a pole for double-sided suspension of networks of the device and Fig. 6 a device on a wall or a corner of a Wall.
In a road surface 1, either at the edge or in the middle of the roadway, support piles 2 are anchored, which, however, can also be detachably connected with a type of shoe or ground anchors. A network 3 is suspended from these posts 2, which z. B. is made of plastic ropes ago. On the vertical cables 4 of the network 3 rollers 5 are arranged from gummielasti Shem material. These rollers 5 can also be made of any hard material and coated with a rubber-elastic material.
The rollers 5 do not have to be attached to each of the successive vertical ropes 4, but you can also leave vertical ropes without rollers at regular or un regular intervals. As Fig. 1 shows, the network 3 is not attached directly to the piles 2, son countries with the interposition of curved, fe-reducing horns 6, z. B. by means of known and around hook, not shown.
This special type of suspension adds another elastic factor, because now not only the rollers 5 and the network 3 are flexible, but also the suspension of the network itself.
In approximately the same manner, the device for covering columns, trees or the like according to FIGS. 3 and 4 is formed. Around a column 7 piles 2 are arranged in corresponding stands from, with a network 3 around the column 7 is suspended on their curved, fe-reducing horns 6. On the vertical cables 4 of the network 3, rollers 5 made of rubber-elastic material are again arranged.
Another embodiment of the device for changing columns or the like is shown in FIG. 2. A column 13 or the like is surrounded at least two places with a tire 14 to which a second tire 15 is located at a certain distance, with between the two Tires 14 and 15 rollers or balls 16 are attached. A cylinder on which a corrugated spring 17 is attached can now be pushed onto the circumference of the tire 15, or the corrugated spring 17 is placed directly onto the tire 15 corresponding to the entire height of the casing.
The spring 17 is provided with a rubber elastic jacket which, for. B. from a plurality of rubber segments 18 can be available, which either extend over the entire height of the panel or in certain Ab stands as rings or ring elements are attached. You can also have a. Place the network with the corresponding roles around the column 13 and attach the springs 17 to a cylindrical jacket.
The two last-mentioned devices do not only serve to protect the vehicles and their occupants, but can also be used to protect electrical masts, the damage or destruction of which means great damage and danger. In addition, between the masts and trees equipped with these devices, piles with the same equipment or networks can be spanned at certain intervals.
FIG. 6 shows how the device can be arranged on a wall, in particular on a dangerous corner. In addition to a street 8, a wall or fence 9 is present, with a sharp corner 10 in the lead of the street and with it also the wall or the like is given. A network 3, in which rollers 5 are again attached to vertical ropes 4, is suspended along wall 9. This can e.g. B. done by means of posts 2 or on the resilient horns 6, where a post 11 with double horns 12 is advantageously arranged at the corner 10 when one.
Such a post 11 with the double horns 12 is particularly shown in FIG.
All these embodiments have the property in common that the vehicle is accommodated by rubber-elastic, horizontally rotatable rollers, with the support elements of the rollers, the network and the suspension of the network or the elastic casing or the underlying suspension being flexible.
Finally, all of these devices can also be transportable, which is of great advantage in particular in the case of traffic congestion or car races and the like. In these cases the piles will not be sunk firmly into the ground, but will be provided with a movable base.
