Fig. 1 zeigt eine Ansicht der Verbindungsstelle zweier Plattenpaare gemäss der Schnittlinie A-A in Fig. 2; Fig. 2 ist eine Draufsicht in Richtung des Pfeiles B in Fig. 1; Fig. 3 stellt eine Ansicht dar, in welcher der seit liche Abschluss und eine Stützstrebe sichtbar sind; Fig. 4 ist eine Draufsicht auf die Ausführungsform gemäss Fig. 3; Fig. 5 ist eine Seitenansicht von Fig. 3;
Device for subdividing rooms The invention relates to a device for subdividing rooms and is characterized in that there are pairs of mutually parallel, one behind the other and spaced apart panels, which pairs are connected to each other by detachable links.
Exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows a view of the connection point of two pairs of plates according to the section line A-A in Fig. 2; Fig. 2 is a plan view taken in the direction of arrow B in Fig. 1; Fig. 3 shows a view in which the Liche end and a support strut are visible; Fig. 4 is a plan view of the embodiment of Fig. 3; Fig. 5 is a side view of Fig. 3;
Fig. 6 shows schematically a wall formed with the device.
The device shown in FIG. 1 has pairs of plates 1 lying next to one another, the plates 1 of each pair lying one behind the other at a distance and running parallel to one another.
The panels 1 are each provided with profile rails 2 on one broad side along their panel edges. The panels themselves can be made of a wide variety of materials, such as wood, plywood, chipboard, wood fibers, synthetic resin, metal, such as. B. aluminum, brass, steel, etc. The profile rails 2 have an h-shaped Ge structure in cross section, with a groove is open to the outside; but these rails could also have a different shape. The grooves mentioned are formed in such a way that the connecting rail 3, which is essentially designed as a double T-beam, can engage in them.
The longitudinal axis of the connecting rail 3 ver runs vertically, with the grooves of the rails 2, the ends of the two flanges of the connecting rail 3 receive. The fastening of the profile rails 2 and thus the plates 1 connected to them on the connecting rail 3 is expediently done by means of bolts or screws 4 and curved or inclined slots 5 and 6. In the connecting rail 3, the opposing slots 5 are on the legs and 6 available. The construction could also be designed so that the slots in the profile rails 2 are located.
The hanging takes place in such a way that first the connecting rail 3 with the slot 6 is retracted into the profile rails standing in the correct, distan ed position, so that the shaft of the screws 4 penetrates the slot 6 and thereby holds the connecting rail 3 on the profile rails . The adjacent plates 1 are then simply hooked into the other side of the connecting rail 3, the plates being lifted slightly until the shaft of the screws 4 reaches the opening of the slot 5.
In this way, any number of pairs of panels can be strung together, the longitudinal direction of the panels being able to run not only horizontally but also vertically, since the profile rails extend around the edge of the panel 1. The connecting rails 3 thus form releasable members by means of which the plate pairs are connected to one another at the vertical joints.
For the frontal termination, if no further pair of plates should be added, instead of a double T-beam, a beam with a U-profile 8 is provided (FIG. 4), which is attached to the profile rails 2 in exactly the same way as the double T-beam.
Especially in cases where several pairs of plates are arranged one above the other, it may be useful to provide an additional strut 7 made of a tube, which extends vertically and is arranged between tween the two parallel plates -1. This strut 7 rests - for the purpose of pressure distribution - best on a U-profile support 8, which rests on the floor and will keep ge from the rails 2 (Fig. 5).
For further support, such a U-profile carrier 8 can also be present on the top of the plate 1, which is either seen with a bore for the passage of the strut 7 or which is simply interrupted at the point in question, as for example is shown in FIG. The diameter of the strut 7 corresponds to the distance that the two profiles 2 have from one another, so that the strut is guided on two sides and the plates 1 have a good hold.
These struts 7 are fastened to the ceiling, with a telescopic sleeve 8 that extends over the strut to compensate for differences in height and to facilitate assembly (FIG. 6).
In order to have as many possible variations as possible during assembly, it is advantageous to select the plate length a multiple of the plate width, for example so that the plate length is twice the plate width (Fig. 6), whereby the plate pairs, which not only in the longitudinal direction tion, but can also be placed on top of each other in the transverse direction, form a uniform conclusion. The connecting rail then has a length which corresponds approximately to twice the plate height.
The profiles 2, 3 and 8 are advantageously made of drawn light metal, but it would also be conceivable to use steel or plastic profiles, for example.
Such a device is used to subdivide rooms, for example for exhibition purposes, etc. and has the advantage that the ele ments are easy to transport, can be added at any time and adapted to the space available and can be easily assembled and disassembled even by inexperienced personnel can.
