Pump station for waste water The invention relates to a pump station for waste water. The purpose of the invention is to create a device that allows, in the simplest way without much construction and equipment expenditure, heavily polluted and interspersed with waste water with a high efficiency We pump forward or further.
An example of the subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawing, which shows a basic and an elevation of the pumping station.
In the drawing, la denote the washing area and lb denote the filling or inlet funnel for the waste water flowing in from the inlet connection 12.
2 denotes a freely floating closure body which has been chosen here in the form of a ball. 4 denotes the collecting tank for the mechanically purified water. 3 with a surface rake - here in the form of a circle - denotes, which retains the screenings entering the filling funnel from the inlet connection 12 in the filling funnel. 5 denotes a pump, 13 the suction pipe, 6 and 6a the pump pressure and pump inlet pipes, which are provided with computing devices 7a and 7g- for the incoming dirty water.
With 9 eats the discharge line with non-return valve 10 be marked. 8 is the sealing seat of the float ball in the wash cabinet.
The discharge pressure pipe 9 has a branch 11 into the washing area, so that the floating matter, such as wood, corks, etc., which, in contrast to the sinking matter and suspended matter, are floating in the upper washing area after opening the slide 14 (quick-release fastener ), can be conveyed away or pushed away during the pumping process. Finally, a ventilation line with a rake is marked with 15.
The mode of operation of the arrangement is as follows If one assumes that the liquid level in the collecting container 4 has dropped to level line S2, then the float, the ball 2, is located at the very bottom in the washing area la. At 12 wastewater should now freely flow into the hopper 1b and further through the pump pressure and pump inlet pipes 6 and 6a through the stationary centrifugal pump 5, through line 13 in the direction of arrow A into the collecting container 4.
Since the pump pressure and inlet pipes 6 and 6a are provided with rakes 7a and 7g-, the material parts carried by the waste water such as rags, bones, stones, wood, etc., collect in front of these rakes and cannot flow through the centrifugal pump .
If the liquid level now rises against the level line S1, the ball 2 is pressed against its sealing seat 8 in the washing chamber. The wastewater that continues to flow freely reaches the rake 3 into the collecting tank. If the liquid level rises further, then the centrifugal pump 5 is finally switched on automatically and now pumps the liquid from the collecting container 4 via the pump pressure and supply pipes 6 and 6a in the direction of the arrows B into the discharge pressure line 9.
The ball 2 keeps the washing chamber la closed even when the liquid level has dropped well below the level line S1 and is approaching the lowest level S2, at which the pump is automatically switched off. This closure is achieved by the fact that the previously static pressure of the liquid column on the ball when the pump is working is replaced by the dynamic delivery pressure of the pump, so that the ball remains in its closed position as a result of the delivery pressure of the pump.
Contaminants, such as rags, bones, paper, stones, tin cans, etc., which are in the wash cabinet, are immediately removed from the discharge pressure line 9 in the direction of arrows B when the pump is started and floating matter such as wood, corks, hollow bodies, etc., after opening the slide 14 pumped away via line 11.
According to this method, centrifugal pumps with the most favorable efficiency can be used, since the material parts carried along in the wastewater are kept away from the pump. The circular rake 3 is cleaned automatically by the tangential water inlet from the inlet connection 12, which also applies to the filling funnel 1b when the ball 2 has sunk.
