Apparat zur medizinischen Wärme- und Strahlenbehandlung
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Apparat zur medizinischen Wärme- und Strahlenbehandlung, bei welchem in einem geschlossenen Kasten ein oder mehrere Strahlensender zur diffusen Aussendung von Infrarotstrahlen sowie elektrische Heizkörper zur Erwärmung der Luft im Kasteninnern angeordnet sind und die Wandecke des Kastens eine Öffnung aufweist, durch die der Kopf des Patienten während der Behandlung aus dem Kasten herausragt, wobei der Kasten in solcher Höhe ausgeführt ist, dass ein Patient mit durch die Öffnung herausragendem Kopf im Kasten auf einem Stuhl aufrecht sitzen kann.
Der Apparat nach der Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kastenrückseite zu einer über die ganze Kastenhöhe reichenden Tür ausgebildet ist, durch welche der Patient auf einem Rollstuhl in den Kasten eingefahren werden kann.
Um dem Patienten im Behandlungskasten eine bequeme Sitzstellung zu ermöglichen, kann der Rollstuhl zweckmässigerweise mit einem in der Höhenrichtung einstellbaren Sitz mit Armlehnen und mit einer höhenverschiebbaren Rücklehne ausgerüstet sein. Die in der Kastendecke befindliche Öffnung wird vorteilhaft als zur Türseite des Kastens hin offenes Langloch ausgebildet, das mittels einer verschiebbaren Platte beliebig weit abdeckbar ist.
Nach der Erfindung können im Kasteninnern ein oder mehrere Bedienungshebel zum Öffnen des Schlosses der Tür vom Kasteninnern aus und an den Kastenseitenwänden Handgriffe angeordnet werden, so dass der Patient (bei Angstgefühlen) sich auch ohne fremde Hilfe aus dem Kasten herausschieben kann.
Auf der beiliegenden Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in einem Ausführungsbeispiel dargestellt, und zwar zeigt:

Fig. 2 den Apparat in Draufsicht mit teilweise weggebrochener Deckwand veranschaulicht.
Der Apparat zur medizinischen Wärme- und Strahlenbehandlung besteht aus einem Kasten mit einem doppelten Boden 1, in dessen Hohlraum 2 ein oder mehrere elektrische Heizkörper 3 eingebaut sind.
Mit dem Boden 1 sind die Seitenwände 4, 5 und die Vorderwand 6 fest verbunden. Die Wände 4, 5 und 6 sind aus mehreren Schichten und zwischen diesen eingebrachtem Isoliermaterial 7 hergestellt. DieKastenvorderwand 6 reicht nicht über die ganze Kastenhöhe, sie ist nach oben durch eine Schrägwand 8 fortgesetzt, an welche die den oberen Abschluss des Kastens bildende waagrechte Deckwand 9 angeschlossen ist. Die Kastenrückwand ist als doppelwandige Tür 10 ausgebildet und mit Scharnieren 11 an der einen Seitenwand 5 angelenkt. Die Türe ist durch bekannte Sperrorgane 12 verriegelbar, die an der anderen Seitenwand 4 angebracht sind. Sie weist Hohlräume 13 auf, in welchen elektrische Heizkörper 14 untergebracht sind.
Vor der Türöffnung ist am Kastenboden 1 eine Klappe 15 schwenkbar gelagert, die es gestattet, einen auf Rollen 17 fahrbaren Stuhl 16 bequem in das Kasteninnere einzufahren, worauf die Klappe 15 hochgeschwenkt werden kann.
In der waagrechten Deckwand 9 ist eine Öffnung 18 ausgespart, durch welche der Kopf des in den Kasten eingefahrenen Patienten aus dem Kasteninnern herausragt. Die Öffnung 18 ist als zur Türseite des Kastens hin offenes Langloch ausgeführt, das durch eine in Rillen verschiebbare Platte 19 beliebig weit abgedeckt werden kann, nachdem der Patient in den Behandlungskasten eingeschoben ist. An der Kastenvorderseite, vorzugsweise am schrägen Wandteil 8, sind die zur Bedienung des Apparates notwendigen Stell- und Kontrollorgane montiert, wie z. B. elektrische Messinstrumente, Schalter, Kontrolllampen usw. Die Innenseite der Schrägwand 8 trägt den bzw. die Strahlensender 21 zur diffusen Bestrahlung des Patienten mit Infrarotstrahlen.
Der Rollstuhl 16, 17 ist zweckentsprechend mit einem in der Höhenrichtung verstellbaren Sitz 22 und mit Armlehnen 24 ausgestattet ; seine Rücklehne ist in waagrechter und lotrechter Richtung einstellbar.
An der Innenseite der Wand 4 und gegebenenfalls auch an der Innen seitenwand 5 kann ein bzw. je ein Bedienungsgriff 25 angebracht sein, der mit dem Absperrschloss 12 der Türe so in Wirkungsverbindung steht, dass der Patient gewünschtenfalls die Türe vom Kasteninnern aus selbst öffnen kann. An den Innenseiten der Seitenwand 4 und gegebenenfalls 5 können ferner Handgriffe 26 angeordnet sein, an denen der Patient sich notfalls selbst aus dem Behandlungskasten herausschieben kann.
Zur Selbstregulierung der Intensität der Infrarotstrahlen durch den Patienten kann im Kasteninnern am Strahlensender 21 ein einstellbarer Indikator angebracht sein, der mittels einer Regulierungsstange 27 vom Patienten betätigt werden kann. Mit dem Kasten wird ferner zweckmässigerweise ein (auf der Zeichnung nicht dargestellter) Alarmapparat verbunden, den der Patient durch Betätigen eines im Kasteninnern befindlichen Kontaktes 28 in Tätigkeit setzen kann.

In order to enable the patient to sit comfortably in the treatment case, the wheelchair can expediently be equipped with a height-adjustable seat with armrests and a height-adjustable backrest. The opening located in the top of the box is advantageously designed as an elongated hole which is open towards the door side of the box and which can be covered as far as desired by means of a sliding plate.
According to the invention, one or more operating levers for opening the lock of the door from the inside of the box and on the side walls of the box can be arranged inside the box so that the patient (when feeling anxious) can push himself out of the box without assistance.
The subject of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment on the accompanying drawing, namely:

The apparatus for medical heat and radiation treatment consists of a box with a double bottom 1, in the cavity 2 of which one or more electrical heating elements 3 are installed.
The side walls 4, 5 and the front wall 6 are firmly connected to the base 1. The walls 4, 5 and 6 are made from several layers and insulating material 7 inserted between them. The front wall of the box 6 does not extend over the entire height of the box; it is continued upwards by a sloping wall 8 to which the horizontal top wall 9, which forms the upper end of the box, is connected. The box rear wall is designed as a double-walled door 10 and hinged to one side wall 5 by means of hinges 11. The door can be locked by known locking members 12 which are attached to the other side wall 4. It has cavities 13 in which electrical heating elements 14 are housed.
In front of the door opening, a flap 15 is pivotably mounted on the box bottom 1, which allows a chair 16, which is movable on castors 17, to be easily inserted into the interior of the box, whereupon the flap 15 can be swiveled up.
An opening 18 is recessed in the horizontal top wall 9, through which the head of the patient moved into the box protrudes from the interior of the box. The opening 18 is designed as an elongated hole which is open towards the door side of the box and which can be covered as far as desired by a plate 19 which is slidable in grooves after the patient has been pushed into the treatment box. On the front of the box, preferably on the inclined wall part 8, the actuating and control elements necessary to operate the apparatus are mounted, such as. B. electrical measuring instruments, switches, control lamps, etc. The inside of the inclined wall 8 carries the radiation transmitter or transmitters 21 for diffuse irradiation of the patient with infrared rays.
The wheelchair 16, 17 is appropriately equipped with a height-adjustable seat 22 and with armrests 24; its backrest can be adjusted horizontally and vertically.
On the inside of the wall 4 and possibly also on the inner side wall 5, one or one operating handle 25 can be attached, which is in operative connection with the lock 12 of the door so that the patient can open the door himself from inside the box if desired. Handles 26 can also be arranged on the inner sides of the side wall 4 and possibly 5, by means of which the patient can push himself out of the treatment case if necessary.
For self-regulation of the intensity of the infrared rays by the patient, an adjustable indicator can be attached to the radiation transmitter 21 inside the box, which indicator can be operated by the patient by means of a regulating rod 27. An alarm device (not shown in the drawing) which the patient can activate by activating a contact 28 located inside the box is also expediently connected to the box.
