EMI0001.0005

welcher Baumwolle in echten orangen Tönen färbt.

EMI0001.0005
correspond, in which D is the residue of a diazo component containing at least one sulfonic acid group,
A denotes the remainder of an azo component containing a keto or enol group and which can be coupled to this group in a position, and n denotes an integer, and one of the residues A and D contains at least a bicyclic aryl residue.

The dyestuffs of the formula (2) can be prepared by coupling a sulfonic acid group and optionally also azo group-containing diazo component with azo components which, thanks to the presence of an enolizable or enolized ketomethylene group, can couple and which have a primary or secondary amino group or one in such a group or substituents which can be converted after the coupling, e.g.
B. contain a nitro or an acylamino group. Suitable azo components of this type are ketomethylene compounds, such as β-ketocarboxylic acid derivatives, in particular acetoacetic acid arylamides and above all pyrazolones. As such, e.g. B.
mentioned are: 1-benzoylacetamino-3- or -4- (4'-aminobenzoyl) -amino-benzene, 1-acetoacetylamino-4-aminobenzene-3-carboxylic acid, 1-acetoacetylamino-3-aminobenzene- 4-sulfonic acid, 1-acetoacetylamino-4-aminobenzene-3-sulfonic acid, 1-acetoacetylamino-4-aminobenzene and other acetoacetyldiaminobenzenes, which can be substituted in the benzene nucleus by alkyl, alkoxy or halogen,

EMI0001.0071
EMI0002.0001
and finally the compounds obtained from these 1-aminoaryl-5-pyrazolones by nitrobenzoylation and reduction,
which contain a condensable amino group and which can couple in the 4-position of the pyrazolone nucleus.
The diazo components to be coupled with these azo components must contain at least one sulfonic acid group. In addition to the sulfonic acid group, they can contain other, water-soluble substituents, e.g.
B. carboxy and / or oxy groups (which can be in the o-position to the diazotizable amino group or in the vicinity of one another) as well as non-water-solubilizing substituents, optionally also have azo groups. It can be seen that for the preparation of the dyes of the formula (2), both relatively simple compounds, e.g.
B. aminobenzenesulfonic acids, aminonaphthalenesulfonic acids, aminopyrene or -chrysensulfonsäuren, aminonaphtholsulfonic acids or aminophenolsulfonic acids, as well as more complicated diazotizable Ver compounds that z. B. hold one or two azo groups ent can use.
Examples of amines whose diazo compounds can be used to prepare dyes of the formula (2) include, for example, the following aminosulfonic acids: A: aminobenzenesulfonic acids, the diazo compounds of which can only be combined with the mentioned ketomethylene compounds which contain a bicyclic aryl radical , e.g.
B. hold a naphthyl, a diphenyl, a stilbene or a phenylazophenyl radical ent, such as. For example: 1-amino-benzene-2-, -3- or -4-sulfonic acid, 1-amino-benzene-2,5-disulfonic acid, 2-amino-1-methoxy-benzene-4-sulfonic acid, 3-amino -2-oxy-benzoic acid-5-sulfonic acid, 3-amino-6-oxy-benzoic acid-5-sulfonic acid, 2-aminophenol-4-sulfonic acid, 5-acetylamino-2-aminobenzene-1-sulfonic acid,
2-Amino-benzoic acid-4- or -5-sulfonic acid, also B: at least bicyclic diazo compounds, which can also be coupled ge with such ketomethylene compounds which contain a benzene ring ent, such as. B.
1-amino-naphthalene-4-, -5-, -6- or -7-sulfonic acid, 2-amino-naphthalene-4-, -6-, -7- or -8-sulfonic acid, 1-amino-naphthalene- 3,6-disulfonic acid, 2-amino-naphthalene-3,6-, -4,8-, -5,7- or -6,8-disulfonic acid, 1- (3'- or 4'-amino-benzoyl) -amino-benzene- 3-sulfonic acid, 3-amino-pyrene-8- or -10-monosulfonic acid, 3-amino-pyrene-5,8- or -5,10-disulfonic acid, 4-nitro-4'-amino- stilbene-2,
2'-disulfonic acid, also the O-acyl derivatives of 1-amino-8-oxy-naphthalene-3,6- or -4,6-disulfonic acid, 2-amino-8-oxy-naphthalene-6-sulfonic acid, 2-amino -5-oxy-naphthalene-7-sulfonic acid, 2- (4'-amino-benzoylamino) -5-oxy-naphthalene-7-sulfonic acid, 2- (4'-aminophenylamino) -5-oxy-naphthalene-7 sulfonic acid, dehydrothiotoluidine mono- or disulfonic acid ETC.
Also possible as at least bicyclic diazo components are aminoazo dyes, such as those produced by coupling one of the coupling components containing the mentioned NH2 groups with the diazo compounds of the aminosulfonic acids also listed, and the aminoazo dyes produced by coupling one of the coupling components specified ketomethylene compounds which contain a -SO, H group,
with any diazo components such. B. sulfonic acid group-containing and sulfonic acid group-free anilines, aminophenols, aminosalicylic acid, etc. can be produced.
For the preparation of the dyes of the formula (2) to be used as starting materials in the present process, the azo group-containing diazo components obtained by sulfonation of azo dyes which have a diazotizable amino group or a group into such a group after the sulfonation operation are also suitable feasible substituents, e.g.
B. have a nitro group or an R-CO-NH group, wherein R is an alkyl or aryl radical. As such, B. the aminomonoazo dyes mentioned, which can be obtained by sulfonating z. B. aminoazobenzene, aminoazotoluene, aminoazosalicylic acids.
The diazotization of the amines or aminoazo dyes specified for the preparation of the dye substances of the formula (2) can be carried out by methods known per se, for. B. with the help of mineral acid, in particular special hydrochloric acid, and sodium nitrite. The coupling of the diazo compounds obtained in this way with the azo components mentioned can likewise be carried out by methods known per se.
Before the condensation with cyanuric chloride, the dyes of the formula (2) can optionally, for the purpose of introducing z. B. an aminobenzoyl group, condense with meta- or para-nitrobenzoyl chloride and, after the nitrobenzoylation, convert the nitro group into an NH2 group by reduction.
The condensation of the dyes with cyanuric trihalides is expediently carried out in the presence of acid-binding agents such as sodium acetate, sodium carbonate or dilute sodium hydroxide solution. In the condensation it is advantageous to proceed so that two of the three exchangeable halogen atoms remain in the condensation product formed by z. B. works in a weakly acidic to neutral medium and / or at temperatures that are kept as low as possible.
Despite the presence of labile halogen atoms, the dyes of the formula (1) can be isolated and processed into usable, dry coloring preparations. Isolation is preferably carried out at the lowest possible temperatures by salting out and filtering. The filtered dyes can, if necessary, after the addition of coupage agents and / or buffer agents, e.g. B. after adding a mixture of equal parts mono- and dialkali phosphates, getrock net; The drying is preferably carried out at temperatures that are not too high and under reduced pressure.
In certain cases, dry preparations can be produced directly, that is to say without intermediate isolation of the dyes, by spray drying the entire preparation mixture for the dyes.
These new dyes of the formula (1) are suitable for dyeing and printing a wide variety of materials, in particular cellulose-containing materials with a fibrous structure, such as cellulose, linen, regenerated cellulose and, above all, cotton. They are particularly suitable for dyeing by what is known as the cold dyeing process, according to which the dyeing is produced at room temperature or at a moderately elevated temperature in aqueous, highly saline, alkaline baths. In certain cases it is advisable to heat the dyebath to 90 to 100 at the end for better exhaustion of the bath or for better fixation of the dyes on the fiber.
They are also suitable for dyeing by printing or by the padding method, according to which the dyes applied to the goods to be dyed by printing with a printing paste or by padding a dye solution are subjected to an alkali treatment and, if necessary, to a heat treatment and so on the material to be dyed Material can be fixed. The dyeings obtainable on cellulose-containing fibers with the new dyes are generally distinguished by the purity of their shades, by good lightfastness and, above all, by excellent washfastness.
In the following examples, unless otherwise stated, parts are parts by weight, percentages are percentages by weight, and the temperatures are given in degrees Celsius.
Example 1 18.5 parts of cyanuric chloride are dissolved in 50 parts by volume of acetone and poured into 250 parts by volume of water in a fine stream. It is filtered, washed with ice water and the residue is stirred with 250 parts of water.
The pH 7 solution of 67.9 parts of the monoazo dye, prepared by coupling diazotized 2-aminobenzoic acid-5-sulfonic acid with the pyrazolone of the formula, is added
EMI0003.0036
The mixture is stirred at 0 for one hour and the pH is kept between 6 and 6.5 by adding dilute sodium hydroxide solution. It is separated off with sodium chloride and dried in vacuo at 45. A water-soluble powder which dyes cotton in washable yellow tones is obtained.
If, instead of the specified monoazo dye, its copper compound is used for condensation, a water-soluble powder is obtained after salting out and drying, which dyes cotton in somewhat less pure yellow tones.
A dye which also dyes the cellulose fiber yellow is obtained if, instead of the specified monoazo dye, corresponding amounts of the monoazo dye of the formula are obtained
EMI0003.0046
be used.
Using the method of Example 1, the dyes given in the table below give likewise valuable dihalotriazine dyes by condensation with cyanuric chloride, which dye cotton in yellow to yellow-orange shades.
EMI0004.0001
Example 2 23 parts of 1-amino-3-acetaminobenzene-6-sulfonic acid are stirred in 200 parts of water and enough sodium hydroxide solution is added that the p1; value is 8.5.
6.9 parts of sodium nitrite are added and 100 parts of ice and 27 parts of 30% hydrochloric acid are poured. The resulting diazo body is slowly poured into an aqueous solution of 21.9 parts of 1- (3'-aminophenyl) -5-pyrazolone-3-carboxylic acid and 30 parts of sodium bicarbonate at 00.00.
The dye precipitated with sodium chloride is then filtered, dissolved in 500 parts of water at a pH of 8.5 and mixed with 6.9 parts of sodium nitrite. This solution is poured at 15 to 200 to 27 parts of hydrochloric acid (30%) in 100 parts of water. The diazotization is complete after 3 hours.
It is coupled with the neutral solution of 15 parts of 1-amino-3-acetaminobenzene in 200 parts of water and stirred for 14 hours at 35-400 at a pH of 5. The disazo dye formed is precipitated with sodium chloride and filtered off.
62.1 parts of the disazo dye thus prepared are dissolved in 1000 parts by volume of water at a pH of 8.5 and poured into a suspension of 18.5 parts of cyanuric chloride in ice and water. The condensation is completed in 3 hours at a temperature of 15-200, the pH being kept as constant as possible at 6 to 6.5 by adding dilute sodium hydroxide solution. The dye is precipitated with sodium chloride, filtered and dried at 450.
A similar dye is obtained if the 1-amino-3-acetaminobenzene is replaced by 1,3-diamino-benzene as the second coupling component and the rest of the procedure is exactly as described in this example.
The dyes obtained in this way are brown powders that dissolve in water with a yellow-brown color and dye the cellulose fibers from saline and alkaline baths in real brown-yellow shades.
Example 3 The suspension produced according to Example 1 from 18.5 parts of cyanuric chloride is mixed with the solution, adjusted to pH 7, of 58.7 parts of the disazo dye from diazotized 4-amino-azobenzene-3, 4'-disulfonic acid, coupled with 1- (3'-aminophenyl) -5-pyrazolone-3-carboxylic acid, added. The mixture is stirred for one hour at 00 and the pH is kept at 6-6.5, 25 parts of In-NaOH being consumed.
It is precipitated with sodium chloride, filtered and dried in vacuo at 450 °. The water-soluble product thus obtained dyes cotton in lightfast and extremely washfast, yellowish orange shades.
If, in this example, the pyrazolone of the formula is used instead of the 1- (3'-aminophenyl) -5-pyrazolone-3-carboxylic acid given
EMI0005.0068
a dichlorotriazine dye of the formula is thus obtained
EMI0005.0070
