which, if it has an aromatic six-membered ring, contains a carboxyl or sulfonic acid group and which has at most 12 carbon atoms.

These water-solubilizing groups can be distributed as desired in the dye molecule.
The process according to the invention is characterized in that corresponding coupling components are combined with diazo compounds, the starting materials being chosen so that at least one of them has the characteristic triazine grouping (1).
To prepare the dyes containing the grouping of the formula (1) in the coupling component, for. The remainder of the formula (1) can be introduced into these coupling components by methods known per se by condensation. The radical of a diphenylaminosulfonic acid, preferably 4-amino-1,1'-diphenyl-4'-sulfonic acid, is particularly suitable as a substituent Y.
The diazo components to be coupled with these coupling components having a monohalotriazine radical can contain non-water-solubilizing substituents, possibly also azo groups, and must contain strongly acidic water-solubilizing substituents, such as sulfonic acid groups, if such coupling components are selected as starting materials which only one or, if appropriate, none have such a group. These diazo components can also be both relatively simple compounds such. B.

Only those starting materials may be combined here which lead to azo dyes which, apart from the triazine group, contain at least two water-solubilizing groups.
Despite the presence of labile halogen atoms in the dyes available according to the invention, they could be isolated and processed into usable, dry dye preparations without losing their valuable properties. Isolation is preferably carried out at the lowest possible temperatures by sighting and filtering. The filtered dyes can optionally be dried after adding coupage agents; before drying is preferably done at temperatures that are not too high and under reduced pressure.
In certain cases, the dry preparations can be prepared directly by spray drying the entire preparation mixture, that is to say without inter isolating the dyes.
The new dyes are suitable for dyeing and printing a wide variety of materials, especially cellulosic textile materials such as linen, regenerated cellulose and, above all, cotton, as well as synthetic synthetic fibers made from polyvinyl alcohol or viscose. They are particularly suitable for dyeing using the so-called pad dyeing process, according to which the goods are impregnated with aqueous, possibly also strongly salty, weakly alkaline dye solutions,
and the dyes are fixed by alkali treatment, preferably with heat.
The dyeings obtainable on cellulose-containing fibers with the new dyes are generally distinguished by the purity of their shades, good lightfastness and, above all, excellent washfastness.
In the following examples, unless otherwise stated, the parts are parts by weight, the percentages are percentages by weight, and the temperatures are given in degrees Celsius.
Example 1 54.8 parts of the secondary condensation product from 1 mol of cyanuric chloride, 1 mol of 1,3-diaminobenzene-4-sulfonic acid and 1 mol of 4-amino-1,1'-diphenyl -4'-sulfonic acid are stirred in 300 parts of water, 300 parts of ice and 20 parts of 30% hydrochloric acid and diazotized at 0 to 2 with 25 molar parts of 4N sodium nitrite solution. The received,
30 parts of sodium acetate (CH "C02Na - 3H20) are added to the still congosant diazo suspension, followed by a solution of 42.3 parts of 1-benzoylamino-8-oxy-naphthalene-3,6-disulfonic acid, cooled to 0 to 2 (present as alkali salt) in 400 parts of water and 15 parts of calcined sodium carbonate. After coupling has ended, the dye is separated off by adding potassium chloride, filtered, washed with potassium chloride solution and dried at 70 ° in vacuo.
It dissolves in cold water with a bluish red color and dyes cellulose fibers using the so-called pad dyeing process in bluish red, real shades.
If the 1-benzoylamino-8-oxy-naphthalin-3,6-disulfonic acid is replaced by a corresponding amount of 1- (3'-nitro-phenyl) -3-carboxy-5-pyrazolone, a greenish yellow dye is obtained with similar characteristics.
Example 2 24.9 parts of 4-amino-1,1'-diphenyl-4'-sulfonic acid are stirred with 300 parts of water and 5.3 parts of sodium carbonate and form an ice-cold aqueous suspension of 18.4 parts of cyanuric chloride are allowed to flow; the mineral acid formed is gradually neutralized by adding dilute sodium hydroxide solution.
As soon as the condensation has ended, that is, when no more free amino groups can be detected, a neutral solution of 23.9 parts of 2-amino-5-oxynaphthalene-7-sulfonic acid is allowed to flow and the mixture is stirred at 20. About 90 parts of 1N sodium hydroxide solution are gradually added dropwise in such a way that the pH value of 6 is not exceeded. The condensation takes about two hours.
The cooled solution obtained is mixed with 20 parts of sodium bicarbonate and with the diazo compound prepared in the usual way from 13.7 parts of 1-amino-benzene-3-carboxylic acid in the presence of hydrochloric acid with 6.9 parts of sodium nitrite. Some of the dye precipitates. After a few hours it is salted out, filtered off and dried. It dyes cotton from strongly salty, alkaline bath in very pure, lightfast and washfast orange tones.
