Machine for the non-cutting profiling of metal bodies A machine for the non-cutting profiling of round metal parts (e.g. gears) has become known, in which forming rollers, the circumferential shape of which is adapted to that of the workpiece to be produced, are repeatedly in deforming engagement with the workpiece brings, in such a way that the forming rollers are brought up to the deepest point of the profile grooves to be generated before their contact with the workpiece and are guided out of the workpiece in the direction of its outer diameter during the deforming A handle,
whereby they roll a portion of the material limited according to the relative feed on a short path in front of them and in the direction of the desired final shape. So that the deformation progresses evenly over the entire circumference of the workpiece, the workpiece is rotated by one tooth pitch between each two deforming engagements of the forming rollers.
In most cases, however, the workpiece is not rotated step by step during the deformation pauses, but rather continuously, which is advantageous for working at high rotational speeds. In this case, the workpiece continues to rotate during the deforming engagement between the form rollers and the workpiece, which is compensated for in a known manner by rotating the planetary axis of the form rollers rotating around the planet. But since the axis of rotation of the forming rollers is always parallel to the planetary axis in all known constructions, the forming rollers can no longer be parallel to the workpiece profile grooves to be generated after the aforementioned correction.
In addition to profile distortion, there are also unclean tooth flanks on the workpiece.
The present invention consists in the fact that in every angular position of the planetary axis to the workpiece axis, the axis of rotation of the profile roller can be adjusted so that it is perpendicular to the profile grooves to be generated when the roller engages.
The drawing shows a known machine and exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention. It shows: FIG. 1 a section of the known machine, FIG. 2 a view of this machine, FIG. 3, seen from above, the position of a profile groove on the workpiece at the beginning and end of a deforming engagement of a forming roller, Fig. 4 the position of the planetary axis C and form roller axis B to the workpiece according to previous Ar beitsweise, Fig. 5 the position of the forming roller, enachse B, rotated relative to the planetary axis C, according to the invention,
6 shows a section along the rotor axis of an example, FIG. 7 shows a section transverse to the rotor axis of this example, FIG. 8 shows a section along the rotor axis of a further example, FIG. 9 shows a section transverse to the rotor axis of this example, FIG. 10 shows a section along the forming roll axis B of a further example, Fig. 11 is a partial view transverse to the forming roll axis B of this example,
Fig. 12 shows a section along the axis C of a further example.
The workpiece 20 (Fig. 1, 2) rotates continuously about its longitudinal axis A and is simultaneously pushed in the direction of this axis in the direction of the arrow. One or more tool bearing parts 62 are displaceably and rotatably mounted in the machine frame 70 and are fastened in this in a fixed position to the workpiece for the work process. The working part of each tool head is the rotor 34, which is driven via shaft 23 by the Ma machine. The axis of this shaft 23 is the planetary axis C.
Constantly stored parallel to the rotor axis, here each rotor 34 carries at least one forming roller 21, which comes into deforming touch with the workpiece once with each rotor rotation, namely it occurs at point 25 in the workpiece profile groove 24 that has already been processed, be touched In the position shown in Fig. 1, 2, the workpiece and performs a partial deformation work when continuing from here until leaving the workpiece at point 26.
The workpiece and the rotor rotate continuously during the operation, and that makes as many revolutions as the workpiece should receive profile grooves during one workpiece rotation. If the rotor has several (e.g. two) forming rollers on its circumference, it only makes half as many revolutions.
The path that each forming roller has to cover in each workpiece groove is shown in FIG. 3; it is the connecting line 27 from point 25 to point 26.-So that the forming roller remains on its path of contact with the workpiece on this line, the rotor must rotate the tool head in the machine frame 70 by the angle a, the line 27 with workpiece axis A. includes, are inclined (Fig. 4) and thus also Plane tenachse C and forming roller axis B. The forming roller 21 now moves with its profile 22 rotated by the angle a through the workpiece groove 24.
In the known machine according to FIGS. 1, 2, this inclined position is achieved in that the part 62 is rotated about its axis 62 'by the angle α and then fixed in the machine frame 70.
In the example of Figure 6, 7, a rotor 34 is present, which is rotatably mounted in a Trä ger with the bearing pin 71 and rotates continuously about the axis C in a Trä. The rotor 34 has a transverse bore 33 perpendicular to the axis C, which has a conical seat 39 at both ends. D 'is the axis of the bore 33. In this Boh tion 33 inserted and held with screws 37 and clamps 36 in this is at least one roller carrier 32 with a transverse bore for receiving the axle pin 23 for the freely rotatable profile roller 23. The axis B of this The axle bolt is identical to the axis B in FIG. 5.
A release screw 38 with a conical shoulder is arranged so that when it is screwed in, it presses with its conical surface onto the correspondingly shaped end surface of the roller carrier 32. The second conical seat 39 can either be equipped with a further roller carrier identical to part 32 or with a counterweight that balances the rotor 34.
The profile roller axis B can now be pivoted with respect to the planetary axis C in such a way that it is perpendicular to the workpiece axis A during its passage from point 25 to point 26 (FIG. 5). The example is used for non-cutting profiling z. B. of spur gears, helical gears and star wedge waves.
In order to now pivot the axis B and thus the roller 21 by the angular amount a out of the parallel with the axis C (FIG. 5), the roller carrier 32 is released after loosening the screws 37 by tightening the screw 38 from its seat 39 in the rotor 34 and is now freely rotatable about axis D '. It is now rotated by the angle <I> a </I> around the axis <I> D '</I> in 34. The exact setting of the angle a can, for. B. in such a way that the forming roller 21 is replaced by a setting gauge (not shown) (e.g. in the form of an alignment ruler) and that after the carrier 32 has been set in the desired position, it can be tightened again by tightening the screws 37 is established in the rotor 34.
This means that the machine is ready for operation, the forming roller is with its axis B during the deforming immersion in the workpiece perpendicular to the profile grooves 24 to be generated, so it generates distortion-free and flawless profiles on the surface and follows the continuous rotation because of the inclined position of the planetary orbit movement of the workpiece. The role carries out a planetary motion, moving towards and away from the workpiece. The axis D 'is perpendicular to the planetary axis, that is to say to the axis C about which the rotor 34 rotates.
The example FIGS. 8 and 9 is an embodiment variant of the example FIGS. 6 and 7. The transverse bore of the rotor 34a has a cylindrical bore 39a at both ends with a constriction in the middle, against which a base ring 45 extends on one side lays. The profile roller carrier 32a is pressed against the base ring 45 by the screws 37 via spring washers 47. It can be fixed in any desired angular position with any desired contact pressure, this pressure being kept constant by a rotation lock of the screws 37, formed by screw locking 48 with lock nut 49.
Here, the profile roller carrier 32a is held with adjustable friction pressure. For frequently repeated settings of the same angle <I> a </I> of the axis <I> B </I> with respect to the axis C, a separate ring 45 can be provided for each angle a, the cross pins 45 'of which in corresponding bores engage on the one hand the rotor 34a, on the other hand the profile roller carrier 32a. A ring 45 then belongs to each angle value a, the transverse pins 45 'of which are offset by this angle value a from the symmetrical position with respect to the axis D'. The ring 45 with its transverse pins 45 'results in a form-fitting, ie vibration-insensitive connection between the rotor 34a and roller carrier 32a.
The example Fig. 10 and 11 shows a Ausfüh tion for cases where profile rollers with greater expansion in the axial direction B 'should be used, so the axle bolts 23b with their bearings would no longer have space in roller carriers according to FIGS. 6 to 9 - and for cases where more than two profile rollers have to be arranged in one and the same rotor 34b.
In this case, the rotor 34b carries the two flanges 53 and 55, which are concentric to the rotor axis. The rotatable ring 54 lies concentric to the flange 55. The axle bolts 23b are now mounted in the rotor 34b in the following way: On each axle bolt 23b a resilient collet 51 and 52 with a spherical outer surface attached to each end. In between, held by spacer rings in its axial position, with a needle bearing 30, the profile roller 21b on the axle bolt 23b freely rotatably mounted. The facing outer surfaces of the collets 51, 52 now lie against their bearings. Each collet 51, 52 has a spherical outer surface and is slotted several times.
The tongs 52 lie in a spherical recess of the flange 53, tongs 51 in one of the ring 54. The two cover rings 56, 57, which are also concentric to the rotor, lie with their spherical recesses against the sides of the tongs 51 facing away from one another , 52. In the gaps between the ring-shaped around the rotor axis on the ordered axle bolts 23b wreaths of screws ben 58 are arranged, which reach through slots 59 of the rings 54, 56, 57 and are screwed into threaded bores of the flanges 53, 55 and the NEN to press the cover rings 56, 57 against the pliers 51, 52.
In order to now pivot all axle bolts 23b and thus all forming rollers 21b uniformly and in the same direction by the desired angular amount a relative to the rotor axis C, the ring 54 is rotated around the axis C to the desired angular position of the axle bolts 23c, and then all screws 58 tightened, whereby the cover rings 56, 57 and the tongs 51, 52 all axle bolts 23b are clamped in their pivoted position in the rotor.
When the ring 54 is rotated, the spherical collets 51, 52 in conjunction with their counter bearings 53, 54, 56, 57 act as joints that allow the rotation of the axis 23b by the angular amount a relative to the rotor axis and in this position by tightening the screws 58 have it determined.
In certain cases it is indicated in the non-cutting shaping of metal profiles to support the rolling movement of the shaping rollers 21, which are generally freely rotatable about their axis B, on the workpiece 20 (FIG. 1) by giving them an approximately Circumferential speed given corresponding rotational movement, which runs in the opposite direction to that of the rotor. An embodiment, which allows the pivoting of the forming roller axis B from the parallel to the rotor axis C in such cases, is shown in FIG. 12.
The structure of this embodiment is essentially that of Figure 6 and 7, but here two concentric to the axis C, fixed, eyeglass-shaped rings 62 are provided, in which the fixed bearing plates 63 are used to support the rotor 34c. In addition, two stationary friction rings 61 are inserted into these glasses rings, also concentrically to the rotor axis C. The form roller 21c on the other hand carries a spherical cap 60 symmetrically to its form rib. The center of the ball forming this cap is in the center of gravity of the form roller 21c, that is, on the axis B.
The two correspondingly designed surfaces of the friction rings 61 touching the domes are designed as a counter-shape of the domes, rest against them in a non-positive manner and, through friction, cause the forming roller 21c to rotate in the opposite direction to the rotor 34c. As a result of the spherical friction surface between the parts 21c and 61, the axis B can nevertheless be pivoted, the part 32 being held firmly in the rotated position as in the case of the game according to FIGS. 6 and 7.
