Tubenverschluss
Fig. 5 eine Draufsicht zu Fig. 4.
Tube closure
The known tube closures with screw caps, rotary slides or similar closing organs have the disadvantage that they stick together when they are not used for a long time and can no longer be opened. This is particularly the case with tubes with pasty substances that harden when dried in the air, such as oil paint, adhesives, starch etc.
The subject of the invention is a tube closure, which is to differ from the known tube closures in that it has a mouthpiece with an eccentrically arranged tube mouth on the end face and surrounded by a protruding sealing edge and an end cap with an eccentric opening which is adjustable on the mouthpiece in its axis by curved grooves in the cap top in such a way that in the open position of the end cap the sealing edge of the tube mouth protrudes through the opening of the cap lid, while in the closed position of the end cap the sealing edge is pressed from the inside against the closed part of the cap top.
The invention enables a tube closure which has the advantage that the closure parts coming into contact with the tube contents do not carry out any friction against each other and therefore a movement-inhibiting sticking of the closure cannot occur and that the closing element is lifted off the tube mouth like a valve plate.
In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown as a closure firmly connected to the tube and as a closure screwed onto existing tubes, namely:
1 shows the tube closure in a diagram with a partially cut-open closing element in the closed position,
2 shows the tube closure in the diagram with a partially cut-open closing element in the open position,
3 shows an axial section through a variant of the closure,
4 shows an axial section through a closure screwed onto an ordinary tube and FIG
FIG. 5 shows a plan view of FIG. 4.
According to the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the tube closure has a mouthpiece 1 which forms the neck of the tube and which is made in one piece with the tube jacket 2.
The mouthpiece forms a hollow cylinder which is closed at the top by the cover plate 1 '. The latter has a sector-shaped opening 3 serving as a tube mouth with a central angle α of approximately 1200. The mouth of the tube is provided with an edge 4 which is greatly increased in relation to the end face.
The mouthpiece 1 is enclosed by an end cap 5, the hollow-cylindrical part of which is provided with a hollow-cylindrical inner jacket 5 'pressed into it. The end cap 5 has a sector-shaped cutout 6 in the cap top 5 ″, the central angle of which is about 300 greater than that of the tube mouth 3. The inner jacket 5 ′ is provided with two diametrically opposed cam grooves 7 in which two on the cylindrical part of the mouthpiece 1 arranged cam 8 engage.
The cam grooves 7 each have an approximately 450 (Fig. 1) to 90 ″ (Fig. 3) having a slope part 9, a bottom adjoining the slope part, horizontal curve part 10 as a detent for locking the lock in the closed position and one at the top Incline part 9 subsequent curve part 11 as a detent for Arre orientation of the lock in the open position.
The end of the horizontal curve part 10 adjoining the incline part 9 at the bottom forms a securing part 13 behind an upstream, briefly rising part 12. The briefly rising part 12 presses the end cap 5 against the raised mouth edge 4 of the tube mouth 3 and through the securing part 13 reached the fuse in the pressed position. For the adjustment of the end cap from the closed position to the open position or vice versa, approximately a turn of 1800 is required. The inside of the cap 5 ″ is provided with a sealing lining 14 in the illustrated case, through which a hermetic seal of the tube mouth lying against the former from the inside is achieved.
When the end cap is designed without a sealing lining, the end of the curved groove is only designed as a slightly rising securing part 13, by means of which the end cap is pressed against the tube mouth.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 4 and 5, the mouthpiece 1 surrounded by the end cap 5 is designed as a separate part from the tube and provided with a threaded hole 15 coaxial with the mouthpiece axis, with which the mouthpiece 1 is screwed onto the threaded neck of a normal tube. The mouthpiece 1 is also provided with a collar 16 which allows the closure to be easily screwed on and opened without the mouthpiece becoming detached from the tube neck. When the closure is opened, the mouthpiece can be held by the collar, while the mouthpiece is screwed onto the threaded neck of the tube in the same direction of rotation as the closure of the closure.
Instead of being screwed on, the mouthpiece 1 could also be placed on the neck of the tube 2 by means of a rubber sleeve, respectively. be fixed removable.
