Wedge connection for profile rails The present invention relates to a detachable, axially loadable wedge connection of two identical profile rails, with a plate being rigidly attached to the end face of one profile rail, which is penetrated by a connecting element provided with transverse openings and the connecting element is rigid on the other profile rail attached and connected to the first-mentioned rail by min least one wedge.
The identification consists in the fact that the connecting element is designed in such a way that it zen triert the two interconnected profile rails.
For example, two embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are illustrated in the accompanying drawing. 1 shows the wedge connection of two profile rails with a bell-shaped cross section, FIG. 2 shows a longitudinal section through the wedge connection according to FIG. 1 and FIG. 3 shows a plan view of FIG. 1, FIG. 4 shows the end face of a profile rail welded bracket, Fig. 5 the front side of a profile rail with welded end plate,
Fig. 6 is a diagram of the end of the profile rail with welded bracket and Fig. 7 the end of the profile rail with welded butt plate, Fig. 8 and 9 a variant embodiment of a wedge connection of double-T profile rails.
The profile rail 1 (Fig. 1) has a bell-shaped cross section. A bracket 2 is welded into the inside and protrudes beyond the end face of the rail 1. On the end face of the profile rail 3, which is to be connected to the end face of the profile rail 1 and has the same shape, an end plate 4 is welded. The same has an opening 5 through which the protruding over the end face of the rail 1 part of a bracket 2 forming the connecting element is inserted when connecting the rails, where the two rails to be connected are centered.
The centering takes place in that the narrow sides (with the exception of the end faces) of the U-shaped bracket 2 and its broad side lying against the profile rail web abut against both the inner sides of the profile rail 1 and against the one of the profile rail 3. Behind the plate 4 is a transverse slot 6 in the profile rail 3 is arranged through which the wedge 7 can be inserted. This transverse slot 6 corresponds to the transverse opening 2a of the bracket 2 inserted through the opening 5 of the plate 4.
When the wedge 7 is inserted into the openings 6 and into the openings 2a of the bracket, the latter being connected to the rail 3, the wedge rests with one surface on the end plate 4 and the other surface on the inside of the bracket 2 so that the two profile rails 1 and 3 are connected to one another at the end and without lateral play through the wedge.
One bracket leg rests on the web of the glockenförmi gene profile rail and the other bracket leg is attached to the two diverging flanges of the profile rail, so that the wedge 7 runs or is inserted transversely to the profile rail flanges and approximately parallel to the profile rail web. The height of the panel opening corresponds to the height of the bracket.
Bracket-like parts with two or more openings can also be used, so that two or more wedges secure the connection.
8 and 9 show a similar Stossver connection which is used to connect double-T-Pro- fits. On both sides of the central web 9a of the double-T-rail 9, plates 10 are welded, each of which has an opening 11 for a wedge to be pushed through at their ends protruding beyond the rail 9.
On the other profile rail 12, an end plate 13 is welded on the end face, which has an opening 14 for pushing through the above plat tenteile. An opening 15, which is used to push a wedge through, is arranged in the profile rail 12 behind the end plate 13. The plates fill the entire height between the parallel flanges of the double-T profiles and thus center the rails to be connected.
The two Keilverbin connections described above are subject to axial pressure.
