Interchangeable lens on photographic camera It is already known to assign a depth of field display device with movable display elements to the interchangeable lens of a photographic camera, which are driven by the diaphragm device and work together with the distance scale. This arrangement brings a noticeable relief for the operator because it creates a functional connection between the diaphragm device and the depth of field display device, so that you no longer have to monitor the diaphragm and the depth of field at the same time, but usually only the depth of field alone .
The time setting is made here by itself.
It is now the object of the present invention to simplify the adjustment of such a camera even further. This object is achieved according to the invention in that the interchangeable lens on the one hand has a depth of field display device with movable display elements, which are driven by the aperture device and cooperate with the distance scale, and on the other hand is equipped with a coupling device, which is equipped with a change lens attached to the camera connects the aperture setting element on the interchangeable lens to the time setting element on the camera.
In this way, the time setting is brought into an automatic functional connection to the aperture or depth of field setting, despite the fact that the two last-mentioned devices are housed in an interchangeable part, that is, objectively alternating.
Embodiments of the invention are explained in an individual with reference to the drawing in the description below. 1 shows the camera with interchangeable lens, FIG. 2 shows a schematic diagram of the depth of field display device, FIGS. 3 to 7 show a first structural embodiment of the interchangeable lens, FIGS. 8 to 10 show a second type of the same, FIGS 12 a third embodiment of the interchangeable lens; and FIGS. 13 and 14 a fourth design.
In Fig. 1, a camera K is shown in schematic form, in which a shutter V is built. The camera K is assigned an interchangeable lens W, which combines an objective O, a diaphragm device B and a depth of field display device T into a self-contained unit, this interchangeable lens W is also equipped with a coupling device C, which connects the aperture setting member of the aperture device B with the time setting member of the shutter V when the interchangeable lens W is attached to the camera K.
The interchangeable lens is detachably fastened to the front wall of the camera with the aid of fastening means explained in detail below. In Fig. 1, the interchangeable lens is shown in the removed state and shown at a slight distance in front of the camera.
The following device is used to install the shutter V in the camera K. A bayonet ring 60 is attached to the front wall 64 of the camera K by means of a few screws 62 (FIG. 4). A cylindri cal approach 66 of the camera front wall 64 engages in a cylindrical depression 68 of the bayonet ring 60 and is used to center the same with respect to the optical axis. The bayonet slots of the bayonet ring 60 are denoted by 70 (Fig. 3).
The cylindrical, only partially shown housing 72 of the closure V is provided on the periphery with a few flange eyes 74, which pass through corresponding recesses 76 on the front wall 64 and engage in the cylindrical depression 68 of the bayonet ring 60, as well as here are firmly connected to the same by means of screws 78. Thus, the lock housing 72 is connected to the bayonet ring 60 and at the same time held on the camera 64.
Inside the lock housing 72, the lock sectors, not shown, are housed with their drive and control mechanisms of a known type and mode of operation. The actuation of the closure (cocking and triggering) is done from the camera via means, also not shown. The exposure time is set at the closure with the help of the time setting ring 80, which is rotatably mounted on the front of the closure.
The inner half of the camera 64 and the bayonet ring 60 lying time setting ring 80 is connected to an outer setting ring 82, in such a way that a bent tongue 86 of the time setting ring 80 engages in an opening 84 of this setting ring 82. The tongue 86 penetrates an arcuate slot 88 of the bayonet ring 60. A shim ring 90 is firmly connected with screws 91 to the bayonet ring 60 and secures the adjusting ring 82 in the axial direction.
The bayonet ring 60 also serves for the detachable fastening of the interchangeable lens W. located in front of the shutter V. The interchangeable lens W has a two-part mount 92, 93 with bayonet projections 94, which with the bayonet slots 70 of the bayonet ring 60 work together. The parts 92, 93 of the version are clamped mitein other by means not shown. The entire mount has a shape similar to a hollow cap and has a few threads 98 at the front on the inner collar 96, into which an adjusting ring 100 with a threaded part 102 can be screwed.
A T-shaped sleeve 106 is rotatably mounted in the interior of the part 102 and is connected to this part with respect to axial movement. This axial Ver connection, which allows relative rotations, is made by the ring 50 of the depth of field display device described in more detail below, which, as particularly Fig. 6 shows - rests on a collar surface 108 of the part 102 and ben by means of some screws 110 and spacer sleeves 112 on the sleeve 106 is attached. A ring 114 of Z-shaped cross-section is clamped to the sleeve 106 by several screws 116.
Inside the sleeve 106, a mount 118 with lens elements 120 and 122 is screwed tight. An objective element 124 is also arranged in the ring 114. When the adjusting ring 100, 102 is rotated, the parts 106, 114, 118 with objective members 120, 122 are moved axially, that is, in the direction of the optical axis, forwards or backwards. The axially movable parts are secured against rotational movement by a guide pin 126 of the ring 114, which engages in a guide bore 128 of the immovable bayonet socket 92.
In the cavity 130 between the parts 106 and 114, the several aperture blades 132 BE standing aperture device B, z. B. an iris diaphragm of known type and mode of operation housed. Your adjusting ring 134 is connected via the driving pin 136, which passes through an arcuate slot 138 of the sleeve 106, with an adjusting ring 30 of the aforementioned depth of field display device, which is built into the interchangeable lens W according to a feature of the invention.
This device for displaying the depth of focus consists - as can be seen from Fig. 2 in the main of two pointer arms 10, 12 which cooperate with the distance scale 14 and limit the respective area of the depth of field on it. The pointers 10, 12 are provided on rings 16, 18 which are coaxial with the optical axis of the camera and close to one another. These two rings are coupled to one another in such a way that when one ring is moved in one direction, the other ring moves in the opposite direction.
This goal is achieved with the aid of a reverse gear, which is arranged on a stationary ring 20 and has two pinions 22, 24 which are in engagement with one another at different heights. The pinion 22 also engages in the teeth 26 of the ring 16, while the pinion 24 is in engagement with the teeth 28 of the ring 18.
As already mentioned, the device is driven from the diaphragm device B. For this purpose, the diaphragm actuator is connected to the adjusting ring 30, with the help of a bent driver tab 32 on the adjusting ring 30 itself. The diaphragm device and its actuator are not shown in Figure 2 for the sake of simplicity; only a linearly divided aperture scale 34 is symbolically assigned to the driver tab 32.
In the drive chain between tween the adjusting ring 30 and the pointers 10, 12, a conversion element is switched on, for the purpose of being able to umwan the uniform movement of the diaphragm actuator into a non-uniform movement of the pointer according to the given operating conditions. A driver pin 36 is seated on the adjusting ring 30, the end of which is offset at 38 in order to form a pivot and pivot point for a pivoting plate 40.
The pivot plate 40 lies between the rings 16, 18 and itself carries a driver pin 42, which engages in a radially lying slot 44 of the pointer ring 16 and the same with a rotation about the optical axis of the adjusting ring 30 and thus the pivot plate 40 accomplished. Furthermore, the oscillating plate 40 carries a control pin 46 which works together with a slot 48 of a stationary ring 50, which acts as a conversion curve. As a result of this superposition, a non-uniformity in the transmission of motion from the pivot plate 40 to the pointer ring 16 and thus also to the pointer ring 18 is achieved.
The conversion curve 48 and thus also the degree of movement conversion between the aperture setting and the depth of field display can be selected or set as desired according to the given conditions.
The depth of field display device T shown schematically in FIG. 2 and described above is arranged around the sleeve 106 and between the rings 30 and 50 in the design according to FIGS. It should be superfluous to go into the details of this facility again. The pointers 10 and 12 extend outward through a circumferential slot 154 of the part 93 and the distance scale 14 is attached to the circumference of the adjusting ring 100. The depth of field display device is therefore axially adjusted with the adjusting ring 100, 102, but not rotated.
In the above, the camera K was described with a built-in shutter V and also share the interchangeable lens W with its individual components, namely with lens O, aperture B and depth of focus display T. The means that are used for the detachable attachment of the Interchangeable lenses W on the camera K are used. Therefore, the device for the releasable coupling of the time setting element on the camera shutter V with the aperture setting element on the interchangeable lens W will now be described.
This device consists of a coupling ring 140 which is mounted on the periphery of the interchangeable lens W between the two mount parts 92, 93 and engages with its arm 142 through a peripheral slot 144 of these parts inward. The arm 32 of the ring 30 of the depth of field display device engages in a slot 146 of the arm 142. The coupling ring 140 also has a coupling tooth 148 which, when the interchangeable lens W is attached to the camera K, engages with one of the coupling notches 150 on the end face of the timing ring 92 on the camera side.
The clutch ring 140 itself is axially loaded by a wave spring 152 and the clutch engagement is thus secured. The coupling ring 140 can be adjusted in the axial direction against the spring action and is set for a new relative coupling position of the actuators.
The arrangement of the scales is best seen in FIG. The distance scale 14 is attached to the circumference of the axially adjustable and rotatable adjusting ring 100 and works with a mark 160 of the immovable socket part 93 together. The protruding through the slot 154 ends of the pointer arms 10, 12 play together with this Ent distance scale 14 and limit the range of depth of field corresponding to the set distance and aperture. The linearly divided aperture scale 34 is arranged on the circumference of the coupling ring 140 and works together with a main mark 156 of the fixed bayonet ring 60.
Since the set diaphragm opening is already taken into account in the setting by the displayed depth of field range, the diaphragm scale 34 could also be left out without further ado. The also linearly divided time scale 158 on the circumference of the adjusting ring 82 also plays with the main mark 156 and the relative Kupp ment position between the time setting ring 80 and the aperture ring 134 is adjustable z. B. with the help of a scale 162 with exposure values on the adjusting ring 82 and a mark 164 on the coupling ring 140.
8 to 10, a second Ausführungsbei is shown game of the invention. This design differs from the first exemplary embodiment mainly in that the depth of field display device is no longer axially adjustable. Furthermore, only one front lens setting is used here instead of the worm for the axially adjustable lens element. The same parts of both types are provided with the same reference numerals.
The interchangeable lens again has the two-part mount 92, 93; however, a thread for worm gear on part 93 has been omitted. In contrast, a flange 166 is fastened to the immovable part 92 by means of a few screws 168. The central opening of the flange 166 has a few threads 170 into which a two-part front lens mount 172, 174 can be screwed, which carries the axially movable lens elements 120, 122. The axially immobile lens member 124 is screwed Festge with its mount 176 in the immobile interchangeable lens part 92.
The depth of field display device has the same structure as already explained, but arranged around the immovable flange 166, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9 in detail. With the slave pin 136 between the ring 30 and the diaphragm adjusting ring 134 passes through a circumferential slot 178 of the flange 166.
When rotating the front lens mount 172, 174, the lens elements 120, 122 move forward or backward, while the remaining parts of the change lens remain axially immovable together with the aperture and depth of focus display. The Zei ger 10, 12 of the depth of field display device protrude through an arcuate slot 180 of the part 93 to the outside and work with the Entfer voltage scale 14 on the periphery of the front lens mount 172 together. The other scales are arranged similarly to the first case and their attachment can best be seen in FIG.
The design of the interchangeable lens according to FIGS. 11 and 12 is practically the same as the first form according to FIGS. 3 to 7. The same parts are therefore provided with the same reference numerals. A difference between this third embodiment and the forms explained so far is that the depth of field display is mounted in an axially immovable part, while the diaphragm device is moved along with the axially moved lens element.
The adjusting ring 100, 102 engaging in the threaded part 96, 98 of the stationary mount 93 is formed by a few segments 182, which are connected to the part 106 by screws 184 and rest on a round surface 186 of the part 102, with the part. 106 positively coupled. The part 106 is connected to the ring 114 by means of screws 188. The depth of field display device shown schematically in FIG. 2 is now arranged around the inner collar 96, 98 of the holder 93 and between the rings 30 and 50 in this design. The stationary ring 50 here has an edge 190 which is raised on the circumference and which partially covers the adjusting ring 100. It should be superfluous to explain the details of the depth of field device again.
The pointers 10 and 12 extend outward through an arcuate slot 192 of the part 50 and the distance scale 14 is attached to the circumference of the adjusting ring 100.
The fourth type of interchangeable lens according to FIG. 13 shows a special case in which the depth of field display device is mounted in the movable distance setting member. Otherwise, this fourth type is also the same as the first embodiment according to FIGS. 3 to 7, so that the same parts are provided with the same reference numerals.
The distance setting ring 100 is positively connected to the stationary mount 93 by means of a few segments 194 in such a way that it can be rotated but not axially adjusted. The threaded part 198 of the sleeve 106, which is connected to the ring 114 by the screws 188, now engages in the threaded part 196 of the adjusting ring 100 . When turning the adjusting ring 100, the parts 106, 118 and 114 move axially. The depth of field display device 30 to 50 is arranged around the inner collar of the distance adjusting ring 100 and between the rings 30 and 50 in this design as well. The stationary ring 50 also has a raised edge 190 on the circumference with an arcuate slot 192 for the pointer 11 and 12 to pass through.
The arrangement of the scales for the third and fourth types can best be seen in FIG. It corresponds practically to that arrangement according to FIG. 7.
In all of the embodiments described above, the lens is equipped with a depth of field display device and provided with a coupling device which connects the aperture setting member on the interchangeable lens with the time setting member on the camera when the interchangeable lens is attached to the camera. In this way, even when using an interchangeable part, a simple operation is achieved because as a result of the coupling device, an automatic functional connection between the time setting member on the camera and the aperture setting member on the interchangeable lens is guaranteed.
Since the aperture setting element is in turn connected to the depth of field display device, a functional chain from the time setting via aperture setting to the depth of field display is guaranteed. A monitoring of the relative aperture is usually no longer necessary, but the operator only has to - after a respective setting of the coupling device - observe one of the factors of time or depth of field, with an automatic change in the value if this factor is subsequently changed other factor results.
Furthermore, since the exposure value determining the relative coupling position of the setting members can be determined without difficulty, for example by means of a photoelectric exposure meter and easily adjustable by means of the coupling ring, the operator is relieved of any unnecessary thought work during the setting, which makes the camera foolishly safe guaranteed. A further advantage should be pointed out, namely that after the interchangeable lens has been attached to the camera, the various setting elements and their scales are close to one another, so that clear handling results.
The diaphragm device can also be arranged on an axially immovable part and the depth of field display device on a part movable with the axially adjustable lens element.
