Apparatus for storing articles of clothing The present invention relates to a device for storing articles of clothing. It is characterized according to the invention by a certain shells for storing cuff buttons and shirt buttons and the like with two opposing sides protruding from it, serving for hanging ties, and also by means of fastening the device to a wall.
The accompanying drawing illustrates an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention in a perspective view.
The device shown has a shell 1 which is at least approximately U-shaped in plan. The web 4 connecting the two legs 2, 3 is - as the drawing shows - something ge bent. Approximately at the junctions between tween the legs 2, 3 and the web 4 are arranged on the shell edge two opposite sides from the shell edge protruding arms 5, 6, which are rectangular in cross section and rounded at the free ends. However, the upper side of these arms could also be arched. The legs 2 and 3 of the shell are pierced in their longitudinal direction and certain screws 7, 8 for attaching the Vorrich device to a wall.
The shell 1 is used to store cuff buttons, shirt buttons and the like, and the two arms 5, 6 are used to hang ties. Since the ends of these arms are free, the ties can easily be pushed onto them and just as easily lifted from them. In order to prevent the ties from slipping off the arms, the latter are advantageously ascending towards the free ends. As the drawing shows, the arms 5, 6 are approximately perpendicular to the legs 2, 3.
The device described can easily be attached to any cabinet door, on the inside thereof. The symmetrical design of the device allows it to be attached to cabinet doors that open to the left as well as to the right. The shell allows buttons of the type already mentioned to be stored safely and within easy reach.
The device can be made of wood as well as of a light metal or of a synthetic material (synthetic glass, synthetic resin), whereby the synthetic material can also be colored.
