Das Mischelement 6 be sitzt StreichflÏchen 6a.
Machine for mixing and grinding powdery, granular or fibrous materials
The invention relates to a machine for missing and triturating. powdery, granular or fibrous materials with a mixing container, at least one shaft running through the mixing chamber, and miseheating again, which are fastened to the shaft with arms offset from one another in the circumferential direction, with a mixing element on each arm up to the wall of the mixing container, enough.
The machine according to the invention is characterized in that friction plates protruding into the mixing chamber are arranged on the inner wall of the mixing container in planes lying at right angles to the shaft running through the mixing chamber, one side of the mixing elements reaching up to the wall of the mixing container being separated from it With respect to the movement direction, the front end approaches the plane of a friction plate towards its rear end, so that this side surface sweeps past the friction plate in question when rotating, leaving a gap at its rear end.
An exemplary embodiment of the machine according to the invention is shown in the drawing. It shows :
Fig. 1 shows an axial section t through the end part of the mixing drum of the machine and
FIG. 2 shows a section along the line 2 'in FIG.
3, 5 and 7 each show an axial Selmitt through different locations of the mixing drum with three different embodiments of the mixing elements
4, 6, 8 and 9 each show a section along the line 4-4 in FIG. 3 or along the line 6-6 in FIG. 5 or along the line 8-8 in FIG. 7 or according to the Line 9-9 in Fig. 7, while the
FIGS. 10 to 18 show different forms of mixing elements in a diagrammatic representation or partially in section.
19 shows a section analogous to FIG. 1, but on a larger scale and
20 shows the mixing element shown in FIG. 19 on a larger scale.
The machine has a mixing drum 1 in which a shaft 2 is located. The shaft 2 can be operated with devices customary for this purpose. On the shaft 2, arms 3 are arranged offset from one another at certain intervals in the circumferential direction.
On the arms 3 mixing elements are BEFE Stigt, which are designed in different ways. Friction plates 4 are arranged in the mixing drum, preferably one friction plate each between two mixing elements. It may also be sufficient if only one or two friction plates are attached to the whole or almost the whole circumference of the mixing drum.
The friction plates are attached to the inside of the wall of the mixing drum so that they are carried along accordingly when the drum moves slowly. If the drum is not moved, the friction plates naturally also stand still. Since the friction plates usually have to be cleaned when changing the material to be mixed, they are expediently attached to those parts of the drum that can be swiveled out. The friction plates suitably have the shape of ring sectors, their height corresponds approximately to the height of the mixing elements and, depending on the type of material to be mixed, they have a smooth (Fig. 4), roughened (Fig. 6) or grooved (Fig. 8) surface or can also be perforated (Fig. 2 and 9).
As already mentioned, the mixing elements can have a variety of designs. They can be designed as one-sided or double-sided mixing elements.
The mixing element referred to with 5 (FIGS. 1, 219 and 20) has an arm 3 connected to the shaft 2 with a plate at the end, the latter being angled at one end to form a mouldboard 5cs and to the periphery of the mixing container of the rounding the same is approximately adapted. When this mixing element 5 rotates, the material to be mixed at the bottom of the container is shifted to the side and some of the upper layers of mixed material are torn up when they emerge and are thrown into the upper empty space of the drum to the side.
At the points where the friction plates 4 are installed, the material to be mixed is ground between the spreading surfaces 5a attached to the rear end of the mixing element and the friction plates 4. The coating surfaces 5a form with the friction plates 4 an acute angle that is open towards the front, that is to say in response to the movement of the mixing element, which is so wide open at the front that the material to be mixed is partially guided between the coating and friction plates, while the rear When rotating, part of the brushing surface passes the friction sheets with such a small distance that ¯ the material to be mixed is continuously rubbed.
The mouldboards are expediently attached to the rear side ends of the mixing elements. Under certain circumstances it is also sufficient to attach a diffuser to only one side of the mixing elements.
The mixing element 6 shown in FIGS. 3 and 10-13 has a wedge-like, box-like shape. When it rotates at a certain speed, the straight side surfaces of this mixing element throw the mix below close to both sides and part of the mix on the surface is torn up and thrown into the upper empty space of the container. The mixing element 6 is seated painting surfaces 6a. 11, 12 and 13 show sections parallel to arm 3.
The mixing elements with 7 or 7 'according to FIG. 14 have, due to their shape and arrangement, a stirrer, sehleuder-.
Conveyor and the element 7, in conjunction with the friction plates 4, also the friction effect he already mentioned. They have roughly the shape of a Reehteekes and are slightly curved and attached to the arms 3 in such a way that when rotating at a certain speed they lift the mixed material from the mixing container wall and move the mixed material masses lying in the container to the side in one direction and part Tear up the layers of mixed material on top as it emerges from the mixed material mass and throw them into the empty space of the mixed material container.
The individual arms 3, to which the thruster elements 7 and 7 ′ are attached, are arranged offset from one another in the circumferential direction on the shaft 2.
The mixing element 7 brushes tightly past the inner jacket of the mixing container, so that it still calls for one direction (near the left on the drawing) when only small amounts of mixed material are present in the container. The mixing elements 7 ', which are arranged closer to the shaft, are arranged in such a way that they have a conveying effect in the opposite direction to the wiseh elements 7, so that the height of the mix in the container remains approximately the same when the mix in the container is exceeds the correct fill level, which means that these mixing and conveying elements also come into effect.
The ends of the mixing elements 7 moving past the friction plates exert the aforementioned friction effect on the material to be mixed.
6 shows a section parallel to arm 3. As already mentioned, the friction plates are attached to those parts of the drum that can be swiveled out. These parts are preferably attached to the drum 1 at one end by means of a re-hinge joint, while the other end is arranged on a plate 15 which, in the position of use of the drum shown in FIG. 6, rests on its outer shell. In this position, a locking means 16 located on the plate can be brought into operative connection with a holding member 17 located on the drum and protruding through a seat not shown in the plate 15 for the purpose of locking the friction plate 4 in its working position.
With 8 (Fig. 15-18) designated mixing elements have approximately the shape of a double-sided plow, similar to how the same% are used to pile up potatoes. The front tips of these mixing elements pass close to the jacket of the mixing container, whereas the distance from the mixing container jacket to the rear increases.
This special shape of the mixing element loosens up the material to be mixed, increases the effect of the slurry when the speed is set accordingly and results in very good mixing accuracy in a very short time. The rear, wider curved side surfaces run into the brush surfaces Sa! ms. These mixing elements can remain open to the periphery of the mixing container and to the shaft, as shown on the drawing, or they can also be closed if the mix in question tends to stick in the blind spots. Figs. 5-17 show parallel lines to arm 3.
A mixing element 8 'acting on one side (FIG. 7) has the same shape and effect as the mixing elements 8 with the difference that the element 8' does not fling on both sides towards two sides. The shape is roughly like a normal ploughshare, as used in agriculture for plowing and as Fig. 18 shows. This mixing element lifts the material to be mixed from the head piece of the mixing container 9 and hurls it towards the center or into the upper empty space. At the points where friction plates are arranged in the mixing container, the material to be mixed is also rubbed between the brush surfaces at the end of this mixing element and the friction plate.
The inlet connection on top of the mixing container is denoted by 9 (FIG. 7) and the outlet duct on the end wall la of the mixing container is denoted by 10 (FIGS. 1 and 19). Within the outlet chute 10, an elongated opening 11 running from top to bottom is made in the end wall la. This opening extends downwards almost to the jacket of the mixing container.
This opening 11 is completely closed within the discharge shaft with a slide 12 in the middle position II (FIG. 2) when the mixer is to be used for discontinuous operation. To empty the mixer, the slide 12 is moved into the upper position I, whereby the opening in the drum front wall is then partially free at the bottom. If the mixer is to be used for continuous operation, the slide 12 is moved into the lower position III so that the upper edge of the slide extends approximately to the middle and the opening 11 in the drum end wall is partially free at the top.
With continuous addition on one side and a corresponding setting of the overflow opening on the other side, the bulk height of the material to be mixed always remains approximately at the same level at all points in the material to be mixed container.
The desired filling level in the mixing container can be regulated by adjusting the slide 12 in the outlet shaft 10.
The mixer works as follows:
Due to the pointed and curved shapes of the side surfaces of the mixing elements 5-8, the material to be mixed is lifted off the drum wall when it rotates, loosened up and mixed intensively. If the material to be mixed is already present in the same lump when it is fed in, these are ground by the brush surfaces on the aforementioned mixing elements in conjunction with the friction plates 4. The mixing elements 7 or
7 'with their stirring, centrifuging and conveying effects are particularly recommended when the mixing container has a length that is significantly greater than its diameter for certain reasons, which is necessary in particular in large mixers and mixers for continuous operation for spatial or structural reasons . Due to the particularly good conveying effect of these blades, the mix is then conveyed from left to right and vice versa as quickly as possible, despite the large length of the mixing container.
With continuous mixing, irregularities in the feed of the mix are largely compensated for.
Due to the roughly rectangular, straight side surfaces, the mixing elements 5 and 6 have an increased friction effect when rotating due to the centrifugal force occurring in the mixed material, since the mixed material between the friction plates 4 and the brush surfaces on the mixing elements cannot so easily escape and is therefore rubbed under strong pressure becomes.
The machine can be used for processing, i.e. for mixing, rubbing in powdery, granular or fibrous materials, optionally with the addition of liquid to highly consistent materials, whereby the mixing container can be stationary or rotated at a relatively low speed. In addition to mixing the materials, the mixing elements also cause the latter to be rubbed in. The speed of rotation of the mixing elements can be adjusted so that the materials to be mixed are continuously hurled into the upper empty space of the mixing container. The mixing process is quick and complete.
The speed of rotation can in particular be chosen so that each mixing element mixes partial quantities of the material in continuous change and at the same time rubs it in between the friction plates and the side surfaces of the mixing elements.
