Circular linking machine The invention relates to a circular linking machine, in particular one with a sewing needle that pierces the needle rim from the outside to the inside into the line of the opening needles.
Such machines are used in particular to link knitted goods together, the seam formation being carried out by the thread-guiding sewing needle in cooperation with a non-thread-guiding or also with a thread-guiding gripper, the drive mechanism of which is housed within the pushing needle ring.
When linking knitwear together, it is in many cases necessary to push large pieces of goods onto the needles in such a way that their surface is above the needle contour. These pieces of goods have to be struck back during the opening of the second piece of goods, which usually hangs down, during the chain after the central axis of the opening needle ring so that they do not interfere with the operation.
In the known machines, in which the drive means for the burping needle ring and the stitch-forming tools are located within the burping needle circle on the needle ring plate, it is difficult and difficult to return the upwardly positioned heating surfaces in the area of the needle ring plate disadvantageous because the knitwear is soiled,
can get caught in the gears or slide down and prevent further burping and (read work of the stitch-forming tools.
In addition, with such machines it is not possible to have two knotters push open, because the resulting larger amount of items of goods piled up above the needle-ring plate is by no means left lying. Changing over the gears located above the needle wreath plate by means of covering does not eliminate this inconvenience, because the items of goods lying on top slide along the fixed structures of the needle wreath plate and slide downwards on their inclined surfaces.
According to the present invention, this disadvantage is eliminated in that a central support column is provided which is axially aligned with the needle ring plate. This support column .erstrecks advantageously to above half the Na.delkranzteller. It does not necessarily only serve to carry the needle roller and cage assembly with the associated linking tools at working height, but advantageously forms an essential part of the linking machine itself, in that it is also designed as a carrier and bearing for all drive and transmission parts and units.
The most important drive parts, gear parts and drive and gear units can be accommodated in the central support column below the needle ring plate. A part of the central support column located above the needle ring plate can store and guide the parts for driving the needle bar, which can be mounted at the free end of a hollow transverse arm extending from the upper end of the central support column to the side to outside the Aufstoss- na.delkreises.
The central support column can either consist of one piece or, for manufacturing reasons, the upper part and the lower part can each form a separate part which are screwed together. The needle ring plate can be made of one piece with the upper and lower part of the central support column, or the upper and lower part of the supporting column can each form one piece and be screwed together with the needle ring plate to form one piece.
Through this central support column, the surface of the needle ring plate can be kept completely free, and pieces of goods of any size, eg. B. parts of sweaters u. Ä. Be placed on the needle ring plate surface, which can slide on it unchecked when the needle ring is turned.
All essential and a lot of space required drive parts can be accommodated in the part of the central support column located below the needle ring plate, so that the part of the central support column above the needle ring plate can have a relatively small cross section.
The lower end of the central support column can be rotatably mounted on a base plate so that it and thus the whole machine, including the drive motor, can be rotated in both directions around its central axis like a potter's wheel from the foot of the kettler. As a result, the chainwoman can easily let the pushing side wander past her when pushing on long pieces of goods, so she does not need to change the posture of the body and in particular the arms that is most favorable for her.
Such a training of the machine increases in connection with the free needle ring plate surface the work performance to a high degree.
The presence of a supply cable for the motor would hinder the rotation of the machine beyond 360, because then see the cable would wrap around the central support column. To avoid this, it is advantageous to let the supply cable for the motor end on the fixed base plate, which is connected to your arranged in the rotating column ble motor by sliding contacts.
However, it is possible for me to accommodate the motor in the base plate and to subdivide the drive shaft from the motor by a coupling that is automatically interrupted when the machine is turned. The upper part of the central support column can be arranged to be pivotable about a horizontal axis on the lower part of the support column to her, together with the needle ring plate and all associated Maschi nenteilen, so. the drive parts are easy to clean and repair. are accessible.
The drawing shows an embodiment example of the machine according to the invention.
Fig. 1 shows the overall view of the 31a machine from the side, Fig. 2 shows the needle ring with needle arm, seen obliquely from above, Fig. 3 is a side view of the gripper and needle drive, Fig. -1 the needle ring drive and the gripper drive seen from above, Fig 5 shows a side view of the needle roller and cage drive.
The machine consists of the stationary base 1 on which the central Tragsäiil.e 2, 14 sits concentric and rotatable to it, which for this purpose is connected at the bottom with a disk 3, through which the position tion advantageously via balls or rollers 23 is made with the base 1. The surface of the column disk 3 is covered with rubber or a similar material so that the disk 3 and with it the whole machine can easily be turned with the foot of the kettler sitting in front of her.
With the lower part 2 of the support column of the needle ring plate 5 is connected axially, on which the needle ring 9, 4 is rotatably mounted. In the needle ring 9, 4, the burping needles 6 are exchangeable in a manner known per se; mounted in the needle ring 40 (FIG. 3), which is advantageously made of steel. The drive motor 20a is seated in the lower part of the column 2. his underneath the column disk 3 entering to line cable 7.
A switch 27, provided in the area of the Kettler's foot, with a control lever 27a for switching the motor 20a on and off is connected to the stationary socket 1.
From the motor shaft '_'0b the drive shaft 41 goes up inside the column 2, which is preceded by a continuously variable transmission 20, which can be adjusted by means of the double lever 8 arranged in the gripping area of the kettler via a linkage 8a . The stitch speed of the sewing needle can be from z. B. 0 to 300 stitches per minute can be varied. Below the Na delkranztellers 5 see the drive means for the needle roller ring 9, 4 and the Grei fer 10 (Fig. 2 and 3).
At the edge of the needle rim plate, in the area of the sewing needle 11 protruding from the outside, there is a recess 12 through which the gripper 10 passes upwards and works with the sewing needle 11. This recess 12 in the needle rim plate 5 is formed in a flat cover plate 13, which completely covers a radially running seat seat 42 in the needle rim plate 5 and only leaves the aforementioned recess open.
By removing les Abdeekbleches 13, the gripper 10 and part of its drive are easily accessible for cleaning, repairing and replacing.
In the middle of the needle ring plate 5, a hollow column 14 is attached as the upper continuation of the central support column, which sits at its free end a hollow transverse arm 14a, which protrudes at right angles to the column axis to over the rim of the burping needles. In this upper part of the zentra len support column, in particular in the cross arm 14a, the drive means for the sewing needle 11 are housed and stored.
The needle 11 is attached to the needle bar 15, the .Lager at the end of the cross arm 14a is arranged laterally so movably that it can follow the continuously moving Aufstoss- na.deln 6 in a known manner when the sewing needle 11 is is located in the area of the burping needle 6 and can move back into the starting position when the sewing needle 11 is outside, ler Aufstossna, del 6 after the stitching has taken place.
The diameter of the needle ring can be provided beyond the sizes customary up to now because the various gears in the central support column are arranged in such a way that the surface of the needle ring plate is free.
The needle roller assembly can be separated from its drive by a coupling 19 known per se, so that it can be rotated further by hand.
The upper part of the machine, namely the Na.delkranzteller 5 with its associated machine parts and the upper part 14 of the central support column 2, 14, can be pivoted about a horizontal shaft 25, which is mounted on the lower part 2 of the central support column of the latter as Fig. 2 shows. A slotted rail 22, which is hinged to the upper part at 43 and is guided in a pin 44 'on the lower part 2, locks the upper part 5, 14 in the pivoted-out position. A hitch be 21 allows the separation of the drive in the pivoted position.
Fig. 3 shows the gear for looper 10 and needle 11. The looper 10 is. about the bolt 44 up and down and also mounted laterally pivotable on the pivot lever 45. The two pivoting movements are generated by a double-acting cam 46, the curve of which runs in the plane of the disc (shown as a circle in the drawing)
on a roller 47 and its curve running in the direction of its axis acts on a roller 48 and thus produces the up and down as well as the sideways pivoting of the gripper 10. The cam disk 46 is driven by an angular gear 49, 50 from the drive center shaft 41. All of these drive parts are under the needle ring plate 5.
To drive the needle 11, the drive shaft 41 is guided through the upper part 14 of the central support column 2, 14 to the upper end. As a result, the cross-section of this upper support column part 14 can be kept very small, so that the surface of the needle ring plate 5 is as free as possible. At the upper end of the drive shaft 41, the drive parts for the needle bar 15 and for the Fa denabzugvorrichtung 51 are provided. The rods necessary for this are placed in the cross arm 14a of the upper part 14 of the support column, which is provided so high above the needle and ring plate that the fabric parts lying on the needle ring plate are not touched.
The drive of the needle ring 9, 4 is shown in FIGS. 4 and 5. The shaft 52 of the gear wheel 49 extends to the needle ring 9, 4, from where it is via a worm 53, a worm wheel 54, a pinion 55 and an internal toothing 56 on the needle ring 9 rotates this by a division of the burping needles in the time in which the linking tools perform a work cycle.
In Fig. 5 is. also the known Vorrich device 19 for coupling and uncoupling of the needle ring from the drive 52, 53, 54 shown schematically.
Fig. 10 also shows the looper drive and part of the needle drive seen from above.
A hand wheel 16 mounted on the outside of the upper part 14ca of the central support column is frictionally connected to the central drive shaft 41 by an angular gear and is used to be able to operate the machine by hand during some stitches. The cross-sectional shapes of the two parts 2 and 14 of the central support column can be the space required by the Ge gearboxes enclosed by them (gear parts and drive units accordingly.
The design of these cross-sections is only important insofar as the surface of the needle ring plate and also the space under the needle ring Diöb- borrow must be kept free.
The invention can also refer to a linking machine in which the needle pierces from the inside to the outside, so that the needle bar instead of the gripper according to the example described above is stored and driven beneath the needle wreath plate 5 and the (-reifer is mounted with its drive in the transverse space 14a of the upper part.
