Lm den verschiedenen Ablauf geschwindigkeiten der einzelnen Filmkatego rien Rechnung zu tragen, wird zweckmässig eine gemeinsame Antriebszackenrolle mit meh reren Zaekensätzen verschiedener Zähnezahl für Filme verschiedener Perforation und Ab- laufgeschwindigkeit in ihrer Antriebsdrehzahl umstellbar eingerichtet, beispielsweise bei 16--mm-Schmalfilm und 17,5-mm-!Splitfilm im Drehzahlverhältnis 1:2,;
Bei Verwendung von 16-mm-Schmalifilm und 17,5-mm-,Splitfilm werden zweckmässig auf der gemeinsamen Antriebszackenrolle zwei Zackensätze vorgesehen, deren Zähne zahlen im Verhältnis 5:8 stehen, zum Bei spiel auf einer Zackenrolle mit einem Rollen durchmesser von 48;
Film drive for films different in terms of film format, running speed and perforation The invention relates to a film drive which is used for films with different film formats and different running speeds. and different perforations are to be used, for example for 16-nim narrow film and 17, a - in - normal split film, in particular Ma- @, lietton films, if necessary with. Image.
Previously, it was necessary to change the rollers and to switch gears in film drives for different films. It was therefore not possible to switch from one film category to the other without further ado, rather the device had to be converted beforehand.
In the subject matter of the invention, this deficiency is eliminated in that common rollers of corresponding width are provided for film transport and film guiding of the various films, the guides next to one another for the various. Film formats, in particular with the same roller diameter of each guide, and corresponding sets of teeth with different numbers of teeth for the different perforations, so that parallel run-off tracks are formed over the common rollers for the different films.
In order to take into account the different running speeds of the individual film categories, it is advisable to set up a common drive pinion with several sets of teeth with different numbers of teeth for films with different perforations and running speeds, for example for 16 mm narrow film and 17.5 -mm-! Split film with a speed ratio of 1: 2;
5. The speed change of this pinion roller can be done by a gearbox, but it is easier if several electric motors of different speeds, in particular synchronous motors of different number of poles, are coupled to the pinion roller at the same time, with the speed change by switching on one or the other motor he follows. At least one pole-changing synchronous motor can also be provided for the drive, the speed being changed by pole changing.
When using 16 mm narrow film and 17.5 mm, split film, two sets of teeth are expediently provided on the common drive tine roller, the teeth of which are in a ratio of 5: 8, for example on a tine roller with a roller diameter of 48;
2 mm a set of narrow film spikes with 20 teeth and a set of split film spikes with 3'2 teeth, whereby in the case of the narrow film the roll is driven at 7'2 rpm and in the case of the split film with 18! 0 rev / min.
This takes into account the fact that with a 16 mm narrow film there is one perforation hole per image and with a normal film or split film four perforation holes per image, so that according to this calculation rule for the number of teeth and the roller diameter as well as the roller speed both Films with, for example, 2.1 or 2-5 images per second can run.
The guides on the rollers are expediently separated by a board edge, and also board edges are optionally also seen on the edges of the roll, wherein the roller can have a screwed-in groove in the area of at least one guide. Furthermore, a double roller arrangement on a common axis is provided in the drive mechanism for edge guidance of the films, with a spring pressing the one filim against a leading flange and the other film against the middle board edge.
For tone scanning or recording, the principle known per se is expediently used on the drive, according to which the tone control point is located between two gyrating mass rollers. It is at this Tonsteuer place with advantage inside and outside of the film each provided a magnetic head assembly, preferably the magnetic head assembly for the narrow film front and inside is arranged and the rear and outside for the split film.
At least one of the magnetic head arrangements is expediently set up so that it can be switched from one film run-off path to the other, for example by moving it. In this way, for example, the outer magnetic head arrangement, which is generally provided for a magnetic split film, can also be used on a narrow film with a central track.
An embodiment of the fiction, contemporary film drive is explained in more detail with reference to the drawing. 1 shows a perspective representation of a film drive, FIG. 2 shows a top view of a drive pinion for a 16 mm narrow film and a 17.5 mm split film, FIG. 3 shows the overall structure of the drive with the drive motors,
FIG. 4 shows a smooth film guide roller with two film guides and FIG. 5 shows a double roller arrangement in section. for guiding the edges of the films.
In FIG. 1, a 17.5 mm wide standard split film 1 and a 16 mm narrow film 2 run parallel to one another over the same, correspondingly wide rollers, namely over the common drive tooth roller 3 with pressure rollers 4, the deflecting rollers 5 and the sight mass rollers 6, whose centrifugal masses of known design, arranged on their supports, are not shown.
The common drive toothed roller 3 has according to FIG. 2 a guide track 7 with set of teeth \ 8 for the 'cine film? and a guide track 9, with a set of teeth 10 for the split film 1. The diameters of the guides 7 and 9 are equal to each other. The number of teeth of the two sets of teeth 8 and 10 are with. Considering the same diameter of the two rollers selected.
It is. It is intended that both the 16 mm visual film and the 17.5 mm split film should be transported with each \ eil, if necessary also 25 images per second. Therefore, the drive speed of the roll 3 in the case de, 9: Splitfil @ ms 2, ', 5ma.1 is selected higher than the drive speed for narrow film. With.
Consider the different drive speeds of the two films and the different perforation of the same. the number of teeth of the two sets of teeth 8 and 10 on the roller 3 is in a ratio of 5: 8. With a roller length knife of 48.2 mm, the visual film teeth set 8 has the number of 20 teeth and the Split filin teeth set the number of 32 teeth.
The drive of the roller 3 results from Fig. Jl. Two synchronous motors 12 and 13 are coupled to the tooth roller 3 via the gear 11 and the switch 1.1 allows the motor 12 or the motor 13 to be switched on. The motor 12 is a ten-pole synchronous motor with a speed of 600 U / min and the motor 13. an 8y more onmotor with four poles and a speed of 1500 U / min.
Taking into account the translation gear 11 rotates. In the case of the narrow film when the motor 12 is started up, the tooth roller 3, with 7'2 rpm and in the case of the split film after switching over to the. Motor 13 at 180 rpm. Instead of the two separate motors 12 and 13, a single pole-changing motor can also be used, which performs 600 rpm in one switch position and 1: 500 rpm in the other.
The establishment can be made so that the higher number of tours. of the split film is used as a tendon barrel for the cine film. The four-pole drive motor 13 for the @ split filrn is. in addition, it is useful for rapid return, can be switched to two-pole, so that a total of three speeds can be set.
According to Fig.2 is. the narrow film roll part 7 expediently see ver with a screwed groove 15 so that an optionally provided image layer can run hollow. One or both guide rollers 5 are expediently designed according to FIG. 1 and provided with a central rim 16 and two outer rim 17. The cine film part has for the picture layer. expediently also the turned groove 15. One of the rollers 15 or both can be arranged in a manner known per se as spring-loaded and damped pendulum rollers on levers.
A double roller arrangement according to FIG. 5 is provided for guiding the edges of the films, in which two roller parts 1.8 and 1'9 are arranged so that they can be moved laterally on a sleeve 21 rotating about axis 2.0. are and are pressed by the spring 22 against the front flange 23 moving along. The cine film is running. while between the flange 23 and the rim 24 and is pressed by the spring with its edge on the flange 23 is. The split film runs between the curb 24 and the further curb 25 and is pressed by the spring against the central curb 24 with its edge, so that both films get a perfect side guide.
At least one of the rollers 5 is formed in this way as such a double roller arrangement for the edge guide.
At the between. The two magnetic heads 26, which rest on the split film 1, are arranged on the outside of the two oscillating mass rollers 6. Inside are offset forward on the narrow film 2, the magnetic heads '27.
The external magnetic heads' 2a6 for the split film are expediently arranged so that they can be adjusted forwards and can therefore also be pushed onto the narrow film 2 so that the same heads can also be used with narrow film with an outside center track, whereas normally with narrow film with image the magnetic track is designed as an edge track and runs inside and is touched by the inner heads 27.
