Double seat for vehicles The present invention relates to a double seat for vehicles, which has a fastening frame and two side by side arranged individual seats, each with a seat cushion and a rear wall. Such double seats are mainly used in car cars, but also in airplanes and other vehicles. Such a vehicle is usually so wide that there is still space for an aisle between two double seats.
Since this gear, which is usually in the vehicle axis, is only necessary for getting in and out, various designs are already known in which the seats can be moved into the aisle to get the seat at the expense of the passengers Can area to enlarge. There are also known before directions with which the two seats lying on both sides of an aisle can be verbun the so that another seat is created.
The known seats are moved either in such a way that the double seat is moved as a whole, or in such a way that the two seats of the double seat are forced to move by different amounts, so that a small double seat is also created between the two single seats of the double seat. achenraum is created.
The double seat of the present invention is now characterized in that only one of the two seats can be slid relative to the fastening frame transversely to the seat direction. This configuration of a double seat has essentially the same advantages as a double seat with differential displacement of the individual seats, but can be considerably simpler and therefore cheaper to manufacture and maintain.
The accompanying drawing shows an example embodiment of the invention, namely Fig. 1 is a front view of a double seat, the two individual seats are pushed together, Fig. 2 is a side view from the right, Fig. 3 is a front view of the same double seat In which, however, the two individual seats are pushed apart, Fig. 4 is a side view like Fig. 2, but on a larger scale, whereby the upholstery is omitted and individual parts are broken away,
5 is a plan view of the part shown in FIG. 4, FIG. 6 is a section along the line VI-VI of FIG. 5, FIG. 7 shows a detail of FIG. 6, while FIG S shows a detail from FIG. 4 on a larger scale.
In the figures, the mounting frame of the double seat is denoted by 1, the rigidly connected seat with 2 and the sliding seat lnit 3 denotes. The mounting frame 1 has four feet 5 rigidly connected to the floor 4 of the vehicle, of which the two are connected to the miteinan behind by a web 6. Two struts 7 connect the front and rear feet. The two forefeet are connected to one another by a U-shaped rail 8 which is open at the top and which encloses a ball guide 9. Analogously, the two rear feet are verbun through the U-rail 10 which encloses the ball guide 11.
However, these ball guides are only arranged under the seat 3. The frame 12 for the seat cushion 13 of the seat 2 is rigidly connected to the two rails 8 and 10. The frame 14 for the seat cushion 15 of the seat 3 is connected with the interposition of pieces 16 and 20 with U-shaped slide rails 17 and 21, which act as a movable part of the ball guides 9 -resp. 11 serve, the fixed part with 18 respectively. 22 and their balls with 19 respectively. 23 are designated.
A fixed stop 24 is arranged on the U-rail 8. A pawl 25 is fastened to the sleeve 27 rotatably mounted on the tube 26. A pin 28 inserted in the tube 26 engages in a slot 29 of the sleeve 27 and thus limits the pivotability between the sleeve and the tube. A coil spring 30 loads the pawl 25 so that it is in engagement with the stop 24 as long as the lever 31 rigidly connected to the tube 26 is not pivoted in the direction of the arrow 32.
To move the seat 3 transversely to the seat direction, the locking device is released by pivoting the lever 31 in the direction of the arrow 32, whereupon the seat 3 can easily be moved transversely to the seat direction by a person sitting on it. If the lever 31 is released again, the locking device latches again as soon as the seat is in an end position. The end positions are determined by the two bolts 33 and 34, which are pending on a stop piece 35.
A further sleeve 36, which is provided with a pawl 37 loaded by the spring 50, is seated on the tube 26. This fits into the two recesses 38a. and 38b of the stop 38, which in turn is welded onto the tube 39. This is. at 40 hinged to the pivotable rear wall 42 about the pivot point 41. In the tube 39 is stuck. another, at 43 with. The tube 44 articulated to the frame 14. The helical spring 45 attached to it is supported on the one hand on the collar 44a of the tube 44 and on the other hand on the collar 39a of the tube 39.
It thus tries to push the two tubes apart in order to bring the rear wall 42 into the position shown in the figures with solid lines.
If a passenger is now sitting on seat 3. and the lever 31 pivoted in the direction of the arrow 46, it releases the locking of the rear wall 42, since the tube 26 with the. it is connected by pins 47, the pawl 3 7 carrying sleeve 36 rotated. By leaning back, the rear wall 42 can now be tilted backwards. If you let go of the lever 31 again, because of the force of the spring 50, it returns to its central position drawn in solid lines in the figures, in which both the back wall 42 and the sliding seat are locked.
If one wishes to make the rear wall steeper again, the lever 31 is pivoted again in the direction of the arrow 46 without pressing with the back on the rear wall "so that the spring 45 can pivot the rear wall back into the original position .
The individual seat 2 has an identically designed locking device for the pivotable rear wall, the lever 48 of which, however, can only be pivoted in the direction of the arrow 49, since this individual seat is rigidly connected to the mounting frame. and do not look across the seat direction.
With the frame 12 arranged on the outside of the double seat armrest 51 is rigidly connected. The armrest 52 on the other side is attached to the frame 1.1, it has a hinge 53 so that it can be folded down. Since the two arm rests are not connected to the adjustable back walls, is. their position regardless of the position of the rear walls.
