Box for glass containers
The present invention relates to a box for glass containers, in particular for ampoules.
The previously known ampoule boxes, mostly made up of several folded and glued or stapled app strips, have the disadvantage that the holding part provided inderSchach- @cl holds the ampoule on its body and thereby inevitably obscures most of the labeling that is usually stuck on the ampoule body. In addition, this arrangement makes it difficult to remove the ampoules from the box, since when the box is open the whole ampoule body is not exposed and usually has to be laboriously pulled out of its holding part.
In contrast, the box according to the invention has a box-shaped holding part with openings in at least one side wall for the head of each lying glass container, one when it is open. Box at least on its upper side open compartment for the body of the glass container and means for preventing longitudinal and lateral displacement of the glass container in the compartment
There. the holding part only grips the glass container by the head part and since the compartment is at least open at the top when the box is open, neither the legibility of any writing on the glass container nor the quick removal of the latter from the box by holding parts is impaired.
In the accompanying drawings, some exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown; it shows :
1 schematically and partially broken away, a first example of a box according to the invention,
FIG. 2 shows a vertical longitudinal section through the box according to FIG. 1,
3 and 4 diagrammatically show a second exemplary embodiment of a double box according to the invention in the assembled or disassembled state,
Figures 5 and 6 show a detail of another example of a double hook. ch. tel according to the invention in the assembled or partially disassembled state,
Fig.
7 in vertical longitudinal section another example of a double box according to the invention,
8 and 9, in vertical longitudinal section, two variants of an embodiment of the box according to the invention, and d
10 and 11, in vertical longitudinal section, two variants of a further embodiment of the box according to the invention.
The shafts according to FIGS. 1 and 2 have a prismatic one from one. Sliding lid formed by folding and gluing cardboard strips 1. The actual box body is formed from two further folded cardboard strips. One of those cardboard strips. forms, the loden 2, the front wall 3a. and rear wall 3b and the side walls 4 of the box body. The second of the above-mentioned cardboard strips forms a box-shaped holding part 5 and one lying in the compartment part of the box on the box bottom 2 fe-changing Aufl! agerampe 6. The end of the first of the two cardboard strips of the box body connecting to the rear wall 3b is right.
Folded inwards at an angle from the rear wall 3b and bent back against the rear wall in such a way that a resilient counter-ramp 7 is formed, which lies opposite the support ramp 6. Triangular tabs 8 are punched out of the support ramp 6 at equal distances from one another and are bent upwards parallel to the side walls of the box. In the wall of the holding part 5 facing the compartment part of the box, circular openings 9 are provided, the edge of which is slotted several times.
With the openings 9 are somewhat narrower openings 10 in the opposite wall of the holding part 5 in alignment. To fasten the holding part 5 to the rest of the box body, inwardly curved tabs 4a are provided on the side walls 4, which are inserted on the underside of the top wall of the holding part 5 between the two walls of the holding part 5 with openings.
As FIG. 2 clearly shows, the head of the ampoules 11 is inserted into the holding part 5 in such a way that the narrowest neck point of the ampoule is fixed by the edge of an opening 9. is held while the ampoule tip protrudes through the opposite opening 10 from the holding part. The tabs 8 are so a. arranged that they are between each in the specialist part. the ampoule bodies protruding from the sehachtel.
The ampoules 11 are thus secured against mutual contact. In addition, the end of each amputee body rests on the ramp 6, with the counter ramp 7 ensuring that the ampoules 11 are constantly resting on the ramp 6. The ampoules 11 are secured against longitudinal displacement as well as against lateral displacement in the closed box due to the arrangement on the plane,
3 and 4 show a simple embodiment of a box with a double compartment for two rows of ampoules.
The sliding lid 1 is designed in the same way as in the first example. In contrast, here the box body is made from two identical parts, each formed from a single cardboard strip.
Each of the two cardboard strips is folded several times to form the box bottom 12, the side walls 13 and the box-shaped holding part 14. The side walls 13 are provided with inwardly folded tabs 13 a which are inserted into the holding part 14.
The perforations 9 in one holding part 14 are offset from the perforations 9 in the other holding part, while the perforations 10 are doubled, with one set of perforations 10 of each holding part with the perforations 9 of the same holding part is in alignment, while the other set of breakthroughs 10 is in alignment with the openings 9 of the other holding part 14.
For plugging the two box body parts together, protruding tabs 14 of the holding parts 1A, which are inserted between the holding part and the side wall 13 of the two box body parts, serve. just. There are no mps here, but triangular tabs 15 punched out of the base 12 and bent upwards prevent mutual contact between the ampoule bodies lying freely upwards in the compartment of the box. When the box is assembled, the ampoule tips of one row of ampoules protrude through the associated openings 10 of the head. part of the other row of ampoules.
Here, too, the ampoules 11 are secured against longitudinal displacement (by the edge of the perforations 9 holding the narrowest point on the neck of the ampoule) and against lateral displacement (by the holding part that grips the amputles in two places and by the tabs 15)
Instead of the double compartment box consisting of two single boxes that can be nested in accordance with 3 and 4, the bottom, the side winds and the front and rear walls of the box can be made from a single cardboard strip analogous to FIG.
In this case, the double needle used to hold the heads of two rows of ampoules can be used. Part 16 according to FIGS. 5 and 6 can be formed from a single box-shaped folded cardboard strip and, for example, glued to the bottom of the box.
In the case of the double compartment shown in FIG. 7, the prismatic sliding cover, in contrast to the second example (FIGS. 3 and 4), where it represents a shell open on both sides, is formed into a shell body that is only open on one side, which on this open side can be closed by a hinged cover with snap flaps. A first, multiple folded cardboard strip forms the box top part 1, the back wall 1a, the box bottom lb and by glueing. en the side tabs le of the box top 1 with the. Lateral tabs 1d of the bottom 1b the two side walls, while a third tab of the bottom 1b with a. Insert flap 19 is provided and is used to close the box.
The sliding part of the box consists of the holding part 16, which is folded from a second cardboard strip, and a third cardboard strip, which lies on the box bottom 1b and is folded into spring-loaded support ramps 20 in the two compartment parts of the box. That last cardboard. will mature with the Ha. Lteteil 16 connected by side tabs 23, which are provided on the cardboard strip and inserted into the holding part 16.
On the pimped side tabs 1d of the box bottom lb, inwardly folded tabs are provided, which form the resilient counter ramps 21 which ensure that the ampoule bodies rest on the ramps 20 when the sliding part is pushed in. Trapezoidal tabs 22i are punched out on the ramps 20 and bent upwards, which prevent the ampoule bodies from touching one another.
The ampoules secured against longitudinal displacement by the edge of the openings 9 in the holding part 16, the bodies of which are freely accessible from above and behind when the sliding part is only partially pulled out, are on the one hand by the double socket in the holding part (openings 9 and 10) and on the other hand by the ramps 20 and 21 also held perfectly against any lateral displacement.
Large packs can also be produced by stacking a plurality of double-ended handles according to FIGS. 3 to 6 or a plurality of holding parts 16 with associated ramps 20 according to FIG. 7
The ampoule boxes shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, which are each intended to hold a single row of ampoules 11, have a hinged lid and are made from a single multi-fold cardboard strip. manufactured.
In the embodiment shown in Fig. 8, the cardboard strip is to form a box-shaped holding part 24 in one sense of the direction and to form a resilient amp ramp 26, the box bottom 26 with the side walls 27, the front wall 26o., The top wall 29 and the rear wall 2 ^ 8lb in the other Sense of direction folded. An end tab 30, which engages in a slot in the base 26, secures the lid in its closed position. From the ramp 215 are protruding, the adjacent ampoule bodies in front of each other. iger contact protecting trapezoidal: tabs 31 punched out.
The ampoules 11 are also secured against longitudinal displacement by the edge of the openings 9 in one wall of the holding part 24 and their tip protrudes through the openings 10 in the opposite wall of the holding part 24; the double socket of the ampoule head in the wall openings 9, 10 together with the tabs 31 also secure the ampoules against lateral displacement.
When the lid 28, 29 is opened, the ampoules 11 are freely accessible from above and from the rear. Gluing or stapling any part of the shell is not required.
The ampoule tube shown in FIG. 9 is also made from a single cardboard strip; In contrast to the design variant described above, however, this is folded in the same direction throughout, starting from a box-shaped holder 32 to form an inner base 33, the rear wall 34a, the shell base 35, the front wall 3tAb and the box lid 36. The latter is secured in its closed position by means of an end flap 3 which engages in a seat seat in the box bottom 35.
Dreieekformige, punched out of the wall 33 lying at the top when the box is closed and protruding downward between the ampoule hulls prevent the ampoule hulls from touching each other. Analogous to the variant according to FIG. 8, the ampoule head protruding through the holding part 32 is both at its narrowest neck point also held at its tip by the band of the perforations 9 and 10. Lateral displacements of the ampoules are thereby practically excluded.
To open the box, not only is the lid 36 folded to the right in the drawing, but the holding part 32 must also be folded to the left in the drawing together with the inner base so that the ampoule bodies are freely accessible from above and behind.
The boxes described above are all intended for the small glass vials usually called ampoules with a cylindrical body, narrowed neck and pointed head. It goes without saying, however, that specially shaped ampoules, for example so-called carpules or other small glass bottles, can also be packaged in the manner described.
10 shows a box formed from two cardboard strips for packaging glass containers 38, such as are usually commercially available as penicillin or insulin vials.
These Fläsehehen have a cylindrical body, a narrowed neck and a cylindrical head. One of the cardboard strips forming the box shown is folded several times to form the box-shaped holding part 39 and the support ramp 40, analogously to the example according to FIGS. 1 and 2. Similar to what is shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the second cardboard strip is also folded, only that here, in addition to the resilient counter-ramp 41, the rear wall 42a, the base 43 and the front wall 42b, it also forms the cover 44 is secured in its closed position by means of an end tongue 44a which engages in a slot in the rear wall 42a.
To prevent the bottle bodies lying in the compartment of the box from touching one another, trapezoidal tabs 45a are removed from the ramp 41. punched out vertically between the adjacent bottles 38. The wall of the holding part 39 facing the compartment part of the box has a series of perforations 9 slotted on the edge through which the Ko. pf of the bottle 38 protrudes into the holding part 39. Since the edge of the opening 9 the. includes the narrowed neck of the bottle, the latter is secured against longitudinal displacement.
The ramps 40, 41 also keep the vial in its horizontal position, while the tabs 45 prevent the vials from shifting sideways.
FIG. 11 shows one of the boxes according to FIG. 10, analogous to the box, which is used for packing carpules 46. The box l is dimensioned so that the carpule with its head protruding through an opening 9 in the holding part 39 close to the! comes to lie opposite wall of the holding part 30, a longitudinal displacement of the packaged carpule 46 to the rear is prevented by the ramps 40, 41 resiliently resting against the rear end of the carpule.
In all the boxes for glass bottles described, the holding part only holds a head part of the vial, while the body of the same is freely accessible at least from above when the box is open.
